My absolute favorite shop for firearms and outdoor gear. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The prices just can't be beat. They have a large selection of everything and what they don't have in stock; they will take the time to find for you online and order directly. I stop in every time I drive by to stock up on what I need or just browse what is available. I highly recommend this business to everyone.

Great inventory on Handguns and rifles. I walked in and seen a gun I've been looking for, for about 3 years. And there it was a sig sauer p226 stainless steel with cherry oak grips.. great price. Best gun I have ever shot

I was overwelmed with joy to see how this retailer has expanded! It's great to see small businesses expanding and it can't be done without people shopping there. Very nice,organized, and well stocked with assortment of firearms. Kayaks, climbing gear, fishing rods and lures, ammo, backpacks, camping gear, hunting clothing, and more.Very friendly informed staff.

Placed an order over 3 weeks ago for decoy weights, still have not received my package that I spent $150 on. I spoke with someone in the store last week and he explained that my order of 3 dozen weights was not in stock and they had to find the remaining weights at one of their other warehouses. I was promised by him my package would get here within the next few days of that call. That was over a week ago and tracking still has my package in Pennsylvania. Since that phone call I have sent multiple emails with no response. I have also called the store 10 times since then with no answer every time and left messages. I have never written a bad review, or a review at all for that matter on a business until now. I needed my package a week ago and these guys don’t give a damn about customer service, and that’s a fact. I’m only writing this review in hopes to get a call back from them. BGO, don’t advertise and sell products that you don’t have. I should have taken my business elsewhere

Friendly, helpful and uplifting staff!!One of the only stores in the area with physical stock of quality rock climbing gear. As a less experienced climber, being able to touch the gear before purchasing and having one of their staff walk me through the tedious process of finding climbing shoes that fit has been valuable and educational. The staff are informative and attentive. Every aspect of my experience with Buffalo Gap has been pleasant and I will continue to use them as my #1 supply for all my climbing and outdoor gear!

Great customer service. Extremely patient and helpful with picking out and trying on gear. Only place in the area that carries a selection of climbing shoes in a variety of sizes (especially the larger sizes, 11 and up). Even have a small wall with a few holds to test the feel of the shoes on different sizes/shaped jibs.

I was sent the wrong item at first. It took longer than stated, but this company finally made good on the mistake. They said they shipped a shipping label with it but I did not receive one unfortunately. If that arrived I would have changed my 1star review to a 4 star, but I’m going to give them a 3+ for effort. I do recommend them because I do believe they actually care about their customers happiness.

I love this place, I feel like a kid in a candy store here ha! I am always welcomed as I walk in. Any questions I have are answered by knowledgeable staff. They even take the time to work with you to find the right product for your needs, whether its climbing, camping, hiking etc. They personally took the time to work with me and help me find the perfect climbing shoe for my needs, Definitely recommend!

Google needs a zero star option.I ordered from Buffalo Gap on Monday, November 30th and heard nothing all week about a ship date. I emailed customer service on Wednesday, December 2nd and received no reply. I called them the morning of Friday the 4th and spoke to a seemingly cordial guy who apologized, said my item was in stock and that it would ship the same day. Two hours later I receive a refund and email to find out it's not in stock. I always check reviews on companies but didn't this time, my bad. Poor customer service is the norm with this company. The good news for me is the item was just back in stock at a reputable company I've bought from before for $18 less. The bad news is, Buffalo Gap sucks and cost me a week of waiting for a product they didn't even have.

Finally got a chance to stop by and look around. They are a small shop with a nice selection. It appears to be something for everyone. There is a good selection of handguns to choose from and some long guns also. The ammo selection is limited like it is everywhere. The gentleman I talked to was very friendly and talked to me about stuff even though I was just browsing. If you are ever in Franklintown Pa. I recommend this place as a place to stop be it for firearms or other outdoor activities.

Apparently others had a different customer experience. It has been a week and I have no clue where my item is. I received a tracking number that is invalid. I reached out to customer service and was told “I have contacted the warehouse for an updated tracking number. Once I hear back, I will send you the code immediately.”- that was over 24 hours ago. Not my idea of customer service

Buffalo Gap Outfitters had a multi tool I was looking for (Victorinox Swiss Tool Spirit X) at lower than MSRP, plus 5% off for first web order. 2-3 days to process and pack, 2-3 days shipping time across the country. I would definitely give them my business again.

Called at 5pm on a Wednesday to see if I could get an order shipped to me by Friday. They made sure they had what I was ordering on hand, and the package arrived the next day on Thursday.Excellent customer service. I look forward to continuing my support of a local small outdoor shop.

I ordered the item online and it support to be at my house tomorrow. However, the address on the shipping is wrong. I tried to contact the customer service since the first hour of ordering. However, I didn’t get any responses until the following day. It said we already shipped the item and cannot do anything. I called to the fedex company right away. It said the buffalo Gap has to be the one who change the address and it is very easy to do it. After that I sent the email more than 3 times but no one responses me at all. I called to Buffalo Gap so many times but no one answer the phone. What kind of business this is. Just want your money, but not even care that the customer will get the item or not. Worst customer service forever. By the way the order number is #2533 in case you want to take a look at it and change the address for me.

I ordered a pcp tank 4 days ago no one can get agold of me and tell me whats goin on or ever talk to a live person the site says 1-2 days and thats so false i cant even talk to a live person i was assured in was in stock but still nothing has been shipped out im very un happy with the customer service and reliability………..
