You can typically find good prices on meat, but the Save A Lot brand doesn’t really save you anything. I’ve found their prices to be comparable with the larger local grocery stores like Sander’s Market and Giant Eagle, but without the fuel perks savings that Giant Eagle offers, or the redeemable stamp books that Sander’s offers. Because the name implies a discount store, I feel people may blindly shop there and assume their prices are lower. I would highly encourage you to pay attention to prices, and don’t be scared off by the bigger local grocery stores. If you are going to spend the money, you might as well get some perks for it.

They have the best meats in town! Nice selection of anything you need to prepare great meals. Their store is also neat & clean. The staff is great! Glad we have this grocery to go to!

Of course, it doesn't have quite the selection of average grocery stores, but there's enough. All of your basic/standard kitchen essentials. The prices for most items are extremely fair & I was impressed with the quality & freshness of the produce items & baked goods. There's definitely some hidden gems in there!

I shop here about once a month, maybe every 1.5-2 months, and that has been for about 13 years now, and randomly throughout the years prior. I have never had a real complaint to make! Prices are reasonable, shelves are stocked, and the store is clean. I appreciate the consistency and standards!

My experience has been awful with the staff management mainly . I'm a manager myself for a kitchen . And I had a charge account. One manager would send me invoices monthly . I paid my account mainly on time . That manager left save alot . They hired a new one . I charged for the kitchen I work for . A couple months went by and I Never received my monthly invoice. Hence I forgot to go ask the store save alot for the invoice, like that's my job to ask for it ,seeing how it was always mailed to me prior . So the new manager threatened me that if I didn't pay the account save alot would come after me and take me for all I got .

I have shopped here a number of times and on more than one occasion have come to find that the food I just purchased is already expired. Now I always check the dates on things. Also, there is a woman working there that is not friendly at all. I have never seen her smile and she glares whenever I approach the checkout. The other employees are very nice.

We were in town for 2 days and needed a couple groceries. Nothing fancy, but they had what we needed at a fair price. Only one checkout open but at least it had a real person and a friendly face.

They offer a great deep discount grocery selection. They carry generic and name brand items. The staff is very friendly. They always have produce and meat that is fresh and good quality. It's a great store to find cheap groceries and get in and out quickly. They sell the same products year round and don't have the best selection. But they offer a lot of small sized items which is great for single person or small households. They offer the basics.

Very clean n quiet very nice employee checking us out , very polite young man. The prices are really great when your on a fixed income highly recommend Sav a lot over the other stores like Giant Eagle n Sanders n Wal Mart . Those 3 are out for blood $$$$ Seems like they GIANT EAGLE , SANDERS, WAL-MART are raising there prices every day. Especially when you go in one day for a certain item n go back the next day n its anywhere from 50 cents to a $1 More from the day before . Just greedy is all they are .Where Sav a Lot keeps their prices where the customers are always happy 😊 😊.

It's a good place to shop. Good prices, however when they get their stock is in don't go there. They plug the isles with product you can't get through. And they don't care. And the employees were not willing to help with two much stuff because they were stocking shelves. And talking to each other.

Easy, cheap place to get groceries for off-brand food labels. The fresh meat selection is very good. Just remember to bring your own bags or be prepared to pay for them at the register

I was sceptical at first as it took over a long time store, more for less. I was presently surprised when I walked in. The staff is very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. If they do not have an item, in that exact store, they are willing to call around to other save a lots and have some sent over asap. If it is a regular item for the area they will make sure to place it on their truck orders and let you know when it comes in.

It was ok, the check out belt was wet, felt uncomfortable putting my groceries on it. Figured the cashier would have wiped it down before anyone used it, but nope didnt even say sorry. I think I'll drive further for cleaner service. Carts never seem to be sanitzed.

The store smelled, some food items were expired, or was going to expire in 2-3 days the butchers didn't wash their hands ( they weren't wearing gloves) before touching the meat after walking out into the store and touching other items then going back. I walked out and I wont be returning!!!!

I do most of my grocery shopping at aldi and walmart, but this place is on my way home from work so I stop to get the things I need between my bigger trips... great to have a place like this and some things are comparable to aldi. Like this store a lot.

This place is by far the nicest in town, the only thing that could be better is the selection being limited, which is the franchises fault, not the store!! This place is clean and most of the workers are very caring and kind!!!

I have spent a ton of money here over the years. I cannot wear a mask due to medical conditions. I stopped the other day. As I was coming in the door there was an employee coming towards me saying you can't come in here without a mask. I said yes I can. She said no you can't. I said I have a medical condition and she said thats all I needed to say. Did my shopping and coming to the register the girl looked at me funny and opened the office door to talk with someone. As she was ringing my items up she said" you said you have a medical condition right?" I said I did! Is it not a LAW that you cannot ask!! I have no trouble spending my money elsewhere.

Wow. Big brother watching. All the time. Lol yea, you really can't beat their deals. I bought two ribeye steaks for $10.06. 1.86 lbs. . Not bad, their off brand items are worth the trip alone. They are really good and better sometimes than the name brand items. Adios Amigo. The Watchers are always watching you. Gn. Peace!!!

This store is usually clean and offers products at reasonable prices compared to regular supermarkets. Bring your own bags or grab a box from the store. Save-a-Lot offers fresh, quality meat.

Got home with some ground beef I just purchased to find that it was rancid below what was visible in the packaging. Seems like they're mixing old beef with fresher stuff.
