Great bookstore. Awesome to have a place like this locally. Their inventory is insane. The people that work there are very polite and accommodating. Litteraly every one star review on here was written by someone offended by their political views. Definitely check this place out. It's worth a drive if you aren't local.

Huge selection! Prices aren't super cheap, and last week there were at least 3 blinking phlorescent lights that made it very hard to read or stay to shop.

I used to live in the area, but have since moved away. Every time I visit, I make time to go to Mr. Bookman. I always find incredible and unique books at a VERY low price. Last year during the $1 book sale, the staff went out of their way to open a sealed pallet of books and allowed me to buy a couple of Perry Mason pulp novels for my dad. He loved them and I haven't seen those types of vintage books anywhere since. I will forever be greatful for that. As far as the political views on display, I may not agree...but we live in a country that protects and entitles us to display those beliefs publicly. As long as those displays aren't hurting anyone or are offensive, I'm happy to keep supporting this business whenever I can!

Fantastic selection of used books and very well priced. Lots of stuff from records to cds to old magazines. There is even an antique book section. Nice family run business. Very clean and organized. It's bigger than my local library, not sure what people are saying about not much selection. You can also go online and search for books in their store, which I've never seen before frankly. Good place to find out of print stuff.

I absolutely ❤ Mr. Bookman's space!! I literally love everything about it! I could spend days in his store and be the happiest person on Earth 🌎!! He has SOOOOOO many options and if you are looking for something and can't find it on the shelves, ask a staff member because they have hidden gems everywhere! ❤ I picked up an old copy of "Animal Farm" that I had been searching for for the longest time for SO CHEAP!! 🤯 I truly can't say enough good things about Mr. Bookman's, but that's my opinion, check it out for yourself! 😉

Just visited this little gem! Lovely little store, very well organized. I love that there are signs at the ends of the aisles to let you know what subject matter is in that aisle. Store was clean, staff was really friendly. I found a TON of books on my wantlist and they were all super inexpensive. LOVE the vintage book room! Will definitely visit again when I acquire another shelf to accommodate all my finds! Ha!

My husband and I stumbled across this gem last summer as we were traveling to his parents hunting camp. The selection is tremendous and the prices are fair. I will suggest that if you are looking at a popular author you may want to see if there is another copy of the same book available...sometimes you can find a cheaper copy. The staff has always been extremely friendly. When we get the random day off together, my husband and I will now make a day trip from the Pittsburgh area to come to this bookstore and we never leave with less than a bag full of books.

Trust me. This is a fantastic bookstore. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A wonderful selection. I have no idea what all the one-star ratings are for. The store is a 30 minute drive for me, well worth the drive. I will be back with my wife and kids. You will be blessed if you go.

I bought a long sought after book by a favorite artist that is out of print. The great thing about that is how fast the staff was able to locate it by scanning a well organized inventory. Very good price as compared to similar on-line sales.The search was fun as this area of Pennsylvania has a lot to offer for a road trip. Go for the books, forget the politics. Take a break .

This was one of the best book stores that I have ever been to. The prices were great the store was very neat clean and alphabetized. You didn't have to wear a mask if you didn't want to. Wearing a mask is a personal choice nobody looked down on you for wearing or not wearing a mask. Wonderful store I will be going there again. I don't know what people are saying about Jan. 6th and insurectionest employees. All the employees very nice and helpful.

This is a large, well organized store with used and new books, cds, vinyl records, and local crafts for sale. Family owned business, very friendly owners. I was impressed by the sheer size of the place - it's bigger than my local library!

Accidentally found this place just out exploring. If you are into books, even hard to find collector books, this is a great place to stop! Friendly staff that are willing to help you find whatever book you are looking for. My wife added some gems to her collection here for a very reasonable price. They are online as well.

Pros:1. Prices are fair2. Large inventoryCons:1. That large inventory is a lot of bulky, space hogging hard covers & while you can find some good books it's also a lot of stuff that looks like a publisher needed to unload it in a hurry.2. Sci-Fi & Fantasy section are pretty barren.

Great place with a lot of books. Some of the books are a little more expensive than say a thrift store but they are more likely to have what you are looking for. Also it is pretty organized.

I would highly recommend against going here. The book selection is small and I doubt the owners or workers have ever picked one up. Neverending stories is a much better book store to go to.

This has to be the biggest used bookstore I've ever seen in my life hundreds of thousands of books and they're all separated by genre prices are very decent they're not thrift shop prices but there's books from $0.10 to $5 so you're going to save a ton of money in the selection is just unbelievable if you like to read this is a place for you

Cute bookstore, but one employee seems to confuse fiction, non-fiction and even reality. Especially tenuous understanding of American history, the Constitution, election law, and what "court-ordered" means.
