Stopped here traveling from VA to CT. Got here about an hour before they closed, but that wasn't a problem. Staff was all very nice even with our later arrival time. Had a good variety on the menu, but I needed to ask for the all-day breakfast menu. The food was really good and would definitely recommend for someone who is traveling. There is a Cracker Barrel just on the other side of the highway and would tell someone to stop here as it is very similar to Cracker Barrel but supports a local business.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid-friendly

We are truck drivers and eat at as many local restaurants as we can instead of chains. First, this place has a wonderful feel to it especially all decorated for Christmas. Second, the food was so good. We did the complimentary homemade bread, pierogies, pot pie, meatloaf, and raspberry tea. That tea is the best raspberry tea I've ever had and was pretty too. Third, we were blessed to have Eric for our server. When he was told we are from Texas and some of the food choices were different such as apple butter with cottage cheese or gravy instead of tomato sauce on meatloaf he brought us both on the side so we could see what we liked. Just all around friendly and seemed to actually enjoy seeing what we thought. As we were leaving he even came out to the register area to say bye and thank us for coming. I rarely give 5 stars, but this place and Eric, in particular, deserve it. Thank y'all and we'll definitely stop whenever we pass through here.

We ordered potato wedges, chicken potpie, mashed potatoes, fish sandwich, fresh cut fries and garlic bread with cheese. Everything we ordered tasted excellent, except the garlic bread. It wasn't what we were expecting. It was basically regular white loaf bread with seasoning that had been toasted in the oven. But the cheese was not melted on two pieces. It was just sliced cheese laying on top.

We entered and people looked at us, as if segregation still exists😭The whole experience looks and tastes like you’re visiting your white grandmother. Take that in whatever context you want!

Dutch Kitchen gets an extra star for 3 Tesla Superchargers in the ample parking lot. Big plus.On top of that, the food is delicious & the service is friendly. The inside is like an old diner with counter seats and booths with individual juke boxes for music. There's also a separate room with tables.Spouse enjoyed the nicely seasoned, huge pork steak. I loved the chopped steak & creamy cottage cheese with a side salad accompanied by tons of blue cheese dressing. All yummy!Parking: Lots of parking & 3 free tesla superchargers!

Mmmmm. My breakfast croissant was amazing. The ham tasted like it came off the bone. We waited a long time for our meal but it was worth it. Great meal for an ever better price. Our bill only came to $24 and some change for two of us. Cool nostalgic atmosphere.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Small town family diner.

I wouldn’t know about the food. Ordered salmon, their Friday special, and was left waiting while the table of four behind me were served in good order. After over 25 minutes I decided to vote with my feet and left. I was told that salmon takes 20 minutes to prepare and “this isn’t McDonald’s”. The special takes 20 minutes? Then you need to inform your patrons. The young female on the phone prattled on and then hung up on me. Classy. Classy, indeed.

The service was pretty good & the staff was super nice and friendly. They served us homemade bread which was really good. However, the food we ordered wasn't good at all! It was very bland and seemed like everything was just boiled, including the meat. Couldn't eat any of it, despite the fact we were on a road trip and we were pretty hungry.Giving 5 stars for the service & barely 1 star for the food.Kid-friendliness: There's a menu for kids, high chairs, the waitress offered crayons and coloring book.

Such a cute diner to stop and eat at. We were just passing through and staying the night in Pottsville and we actually came back again in the morning to get breakfast, it was that good! Everyone is so friendly and the diner really takes you back in time. I highly recommend.

Friendly staff greeted us (my friend, her father, and I) with a smile. We were very pleased with the food and the service. The staff make you feel welcome. Being out of state, this meant a lot to me. We loved the old diner feel of the restaurant and the staff went out of their way to make sure the customers were satisfied. We loved the old-fashioned decorative menus and the old jukeboxes. This place is welcoming and delicious. I sadly did not see a wheelchair accessible ramp and the steps are steeper, so if you have trouble walking or can't walk, I recommend delivery.

We had the pierogies as an appetizer. For dinner, pork sausage with onions and peppers and fries, chow chow, and pepper cabbage. Dessert we split a pumpkin muffin. The food was amazing, super filling but not too heavy, it hit the spot. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and gave us samples of the sides to try (I had never heard of Chow Chow) before we picked something. If I ever come back through, I'm definitely stopping in.

This is your very average diner type of place with good comfort food at reasonable prices. Nothing special about it. Well except that the atmosphere is very much from the 50' and 60's. They still have the table top juke (spelling) boxes on the table tops. Our waitress was nice and efficient, the food came out hot, their homemade bread was superb and their whipped "butter" was awful. They should serve quality butter on their awesome bread!

3 stars for the food, 5 for the setting and decor. The appetizers were really good, the rest a little less impressive. Juke box plays music randomly!

What an amazing neat little diner to stop at before We headed back home, 2 1/2 hours away. Great friendly service and staff! I love the diner decor and retro feel! Great food too! The picture of the freshly brewed raspberry ice tea, was delicious! They even show their menu from 1971, that’s the other picture. Highly recommended!
