In my growing-up years when we needed an affordable place to buy CLOTHING: PANTS, SHOES, UNDERWEAR, COATS, JACKETS, DRESSES for my sisters, & on & on of items we had to have in our household on a daily basis, we depended on ‘KENTS’ DOLLAR STORES’.Today, ‘KENTS’ DOLLAR STORES’ are no longer around, now the best news, ‘DOLLAR GENERAL & FAMILY DOLLAR’ stores have surely stepped in and given everyone affordable items at low costs as ‘KENTS’ DOLLAR STORES’ did long ago.Not only providing CLOTHING and HOUSEHOLD items, but HOME DECORATIONS, KITCHEN COOKWARE, TOYS, SNEAKERS, FOOD and so much more at affordable prices…thank you DOLLAR GENERAL!NOTE: PICTURES OF FAMILY DOLLAR ARE FROM ANOTHER LOCATION.

I really used to like this dollar store. The staff that worked there was really nice and personable. Store was clean and items were stockes. Now there is constantly racks and racks of back stock sitting on the floor. The new staff is...not the sharpest tools in the toolbox by any means! The managers and employees will gather up front and chat while one very slow employee rings and a line of irritated customers begin. I don't know why they cleaned out the old staff but this new staff is 10x dumber, slower, and unorganized

Overall employees are nice. The only thing that could be better which I don't know if they had just gotten truck or not, roltainers are everywhere and blocking the product which sucked cause I had a move a couple to get what I actually needed.

Since they replaced their last manager I've noticed a complete turn around. Laurie and her team are very great and seem to work well with one another. She is very positive and isn't afraid of working!!!!! The atmosphere has changed completely, very positive changes. The team at this location certainly fit well with our small town. Welcome to Fort Loudon, Laurie.

My favorite dollar store. Very friendly workers. They have clean, open walk ways, unlike the dollar store in mercersburg, where they leave all there boxes of inventory everywhere.Would deffienitly recommend shopping there.

Great store but, they don't carry thousand island dressing. 2 different Italians and 4 different ranch. Please add to your selection.

It is local and convenient. It has a great food section. It has most everything you need on a daily basis and you don't have to travel far. Prices are decent.

The best DG around, the nicest manager, with the best staff! They always offer assistance and smile, they are very happy, kind, caring and actually help you if you need it! I love this DG! By far the very best one around! FTL DG... You rock! I said nice things about the other DG's because I didn't know what DG I was talking about!

Cashier was very rude.. I went to check out because his light was on which means he's open and he hollord at me after I already layed me stuff down and told me "other one" while pointing to the next register.. Had no manners what so ever and the next cashier didn't say one word to me.. If you're going to work around the public have some damn common courtesy!!

Very clean, nice sales people. They remodeled not long ago, very big, open area room to walk, nothing in aisle. Has a redbox outside.

Dollar General in Fort Loudon PA is one of the best dollar general's in the central pa area. It is a decent size has most name brands for cheap and please try the DG brand or the clover valley brand. It has a large selection of general food excluding produce. I would recommend to it anybody.

I love the Dollar Generals. For those who lack transportation, there is usually a DG within walking distance.
