First let me say breath taking scenery and wonderful sounds eminating from the water as it flows down river the park is nestled between 2 mountains and the views are beatiful. Watching the water cascading downwards towards the bridge over pass and a little area they call a beach which is perfect for swimming, in essence its a local swimming hole... a must stop and enjoy when in PA some of the best natural places to enjoy.

This is my favorite place to go! There is no cell service or internet! You are forced to unplug. My husband & I relax and unwind here. Listening to the water flowing in Loyalsock Creek, the rain or wind in the trees,...just the quietness of nature really is so peaceful. We enjoy having a campfire or a fire in the wood stove. The cabins are spotless. My husband & I work a lot, so often we will just go to W.E.S.P. for 2 nights during the Fall or Winter just to relax on our days off. This is my home away from home.Playground: There is a really nice playground near the Park Office. I have taken my grandkids here & they had so much fun. The only downside is, there is very little shade in the play area.Restrooms: These are the cleanest park bathrooms I have ever been in. They have showers in them also. They have some bathrooms that lock so you can be the only one in there or a family can go in together. They have a utility sink for washing dishes, etc. In the cabin area there are three different restroom facilities.

Beautiful park. The drive to the summit is really adventurous during winter, be careful. I took my Tucson, no issues; missed my Subaru. Definitely will come back during spring or fall.

This park is all about the natural world. Lush vegetation that sprawls up the mountains, various floral and mushroom growth, crisp springs to swim in, designated pool area, waterfalls, bridges, rock formations, stony shoreline, sandy bottom, well crafted and spacious pavilions under the treetops, plenty of shade, and small critters roaming the grounds make it an excellent destination spot. There is a concession stand also for snacking convenience and park rangers surveying activity. T he cabins are quaint and conveniently located within walking distance to the restrooms, visitors' center, and playgrounds, with river and creek accessibility. It is probably the most relaxing park I've been to in several years.Playground: Two well built playground areas on a woodchip surface are located near the cabins.Restrooms: Restrooms are accessible by the concession stand near the swimming area, and centrally located near the cabin rentals.Dog-friendliness: Leashed dogs are allowed everywhere but the swimming area.Picnic area: There are picnic tables, benches and pavilions all throughout the park and camping areas, some very uniquely carved.

First time visiting, and pictures itself can not describe the scenery! There were picnic areas along the riverbank, trails to walk, certain areas designated for camping, a beach side to safely swim, if taking a chance on the flowing riverbank side was not your cup of tea and snack shop to get food, drinks and ice cream. Attached to the shop were bathrooms that also provided changing areas. Will definitely be back!Restrooms: Clean, with changing areas if wanting to get wet.Picnic area: Areas to set up food, grill, relax

The leaves were in full autumnal beauty for a quick weekend visit Sept 29-Oct 1. Weather was beautiful. No service at the tenting camping but that is the way I like it :)

Worlds End SP is a PA best kept secret! We enjoyed the beautiful vista and “rock garden,” which is an area of large boulders to walk around. We used a picnic table by the vista to enjoy our picnic lunch. We also used the trail connector to walk part of the Loyalsock Trail. This part of the trail was very rocky, but absolutely beautiful. Some spots were a little challenging, so you may find it helpful to have trekking poles to help! After soaking in the views and doing a short hike, we enjoyed swimming at the beach. Keep in mind that they have sand, but it isn't a typical beach. The swimming area is part of the river. It has a hard, limestone bed and the water is refreshingly cold. The sand is in an area that overlooks the river. There are stairs leading down to the swimming area. Because we hadn't gotten a lot of rain, the water wasn't as deep as the markers claimed, but we were told it can get deep enough to cover the last few steps. There is a snack shop near the beach. The visitor center has nice bathrooms and some shirts to purchase. There are displays of wildlife and park history. You can get a park map there, buy a sticker, and get your questions about the park from the helpful staff. This is a beautiful, rugged park with amazing views. I highly recommend a visit. We will certainly be going back!

We loved this park. So relaxing. Gorgeous scenery. There is plenty to do if you like to be outside! Waterfalls, trails, the creek, a covered bridge, wildlife, vistas, rock garden, etc. The campground is simple without a lot of bells and whistles so you can just enjoy being outside in the trees.

Lovely trails and beautiful park. The only caveat is to pay attention as some of the blazes can be difficult to see

It was love at first hike! I have found as I have explored more state parks and other places further away from my home base of Lancaster just how gorgeous Pennsylvania is. There is so much to see and be thankful for that is within a days trip from me.The Worlds End State Park is just beautiful with a decent amount of trails that can definitely add up in mileage. I will say that proper foot wear is key and also doing some homework or pre planning is key. The cell phone reception is spotty and you should have a map or something downloaded on your phone.I did the Canyon Vista Trail and learned quickly why people talked about micro spikes being needed. I was able to get the trail done but will be getting the right equipment if I’m going to be out on the trail in the winter. No sense in compromising your safety. Almost forgot to mention how well the trails were marked. Very easy to stay on track.Enjoy this magnificent place solo, with friends, or with the family. Disconnect and de stress!

One of the prettiest state parks in Pennsylvania. Lots of hiking, gorgeous views and swimming holes. It's like a little slice of heaven. Also there is an awesome cheesesteak place with an old covered bridge right down the road.

A beautiful and very well maintained PA State Park! the hikes are mostly moderate to difficult as the elevation changes make for some challenging treks. Take your time though and it's definitely manageable.Plenty of day use picnic tables, grills, and outdoor spaces. The campgrounds are clean and well laid out, and their bathhouses are the cleanest I've ever encountered. Checked on and cleaned daily.Just a short drive out of the park you can find the General Store & Restaurant, along with Between Bridges Market & Gas Station. You can use your phone here, don't expect much service inside the park (which I found very refreshing).Park maps along with weather printouts are easy to locate at the office & campsite entrances. Firewood and ice are also accessable and not overpriced at $8 for a bundle.Double Run loop, Cold Run Loop and High Rock trail are amazing. And definitely check out the Canyon Vista.

Came here to hike from the park office to the canyon vista. Loved the scenery. Inclines were very intense but the trail was mixed level so you had a chance to catch your breathe after doing a lot of inclines. Beautiful park.

A scenic state park in the Endless Mountain. A nice getaway for the whole family. A peaceful place to have a picnic and then go swimming. There's restrooms & also changing rooms conveniently located in a snack shop close to the beach & swimming area.

I have been coming here for decades, and I've shown a lot of friends what a beautiful place this is over the years. Stayed in streamside Cabin # 14 for 3 nights, enjoyed hiking some trails, stargazing (in the park and at Sone's Pond) and just relaxing.

I love this State Park. My family has been attending these great campgrounds since the 1950s. So needless to say there is a lineage with my family attending such an amazing place. It's called Worlds End. But it's more like we're you can see the Worlds Beginnings. Overall I live this place.

Hiked the Double Run Nature Trail with our 3 boys (2,4,6). It was absolutely beautiful! Well marked trails and even despite recent storms and rain the trails were very well maintained and clear! Can't wait to explore more!

This is our family favorite place to camp. It is beautifully placed alongside the Loyalsock River, where you can fish, play in the water or just listening to the peaceful sounds of the stream. There are also hiking trails to bring you up to a beautiful Vista view. Also it's only a half hour drive to ricketts Glen State Park which has 21 waterfalls along its hiking trail. The campsite has options for tent camping, RVs, electric or non-electric. Bathrooms with showers are available and well kept.

Although the weather wasn't agreeable on this trip. We Still got to enjoy the view at Canyon Vista and High Rocks Waterfalls. I plan to return in the future, there so much to do nearby Forksville, Laporte and Eagles Mere to explore.

I found World's End to be very accessible right off route 154. I can think of several other state parks that really made me feel like I had been dragged to the end of the earth.Name aside, this park has a literal swimming hole formed by a dam on the Loyalsock Creek. Parking is across the road, where you'll find nice picnic tables and pavilions, and a concession stand and restrooms. The campground has 70 campsites and 19 cabins some with stone porches (not common in most of the parks). My eye was caught by a campsite with it's picnic table moved up in the woods for a better view. (see photo). There's also 3 organizational group campsites in a middle area. You can hike any of the 13 trails any maybe find an ancient fossil along the way.In winter, go cross country skiing or snowmobiling.About half the park is open to hunting in that season. For events at this park visit: events dcnr paFor more information: pa parks and forests(diamond)

Great views of Loyalsock Valley and region. I was blown away by the immense beauty and awe the town, park ,mountains and river all bring to this unique place. The snack shack is a nice place. The beach was enjoyable and very refreshing for a midsummer camping trip. The river could be heard from just about anywhere you go and the hiking was fun and beautiful.

Beautiful park. Went for a hike, now planning a family camping trip. Our hike was cut short of the waterfalls due to a baby bear. I've seen enough documentaries to not wanna risk seeing mamma bear, but it was still worth it!Restrooms: They work lol.Picnic area: There are some picnic areas all about, but my favorite spot is next to the stream and cliff face in the photo!

World's End is beautiful! We swim here every summer. Bring tubes and float down the creek or swim in the deep roped off area. There are hiking trails, picnic areas, a snack bar and so much to do for the whole family! You won't regret your visit!Playground: The playground is perfect for the kiddos and it's fsr away from the water so no worries there!Restrooms: Very clean restrooms with changing areas if you'll be swimming!Dog-friendliness: We take our dog every time we visit here, never had an issue!Picnic area: There are plenty of picnic tables and charcoal grills!

It's arguably one of the best state parks in PA. Rent one of their rustic cabins. Venture to one of the most beautiful views in PA, The Canyon Vista. Then, that night, go to the High Knob Overlook and have an amazing stargazing experience. World's End becomes more than a getaway.Playground: There is a playground in the main parking area.Restrooms: Many modern restrooms.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are fine on a leash.Picnic area: Many picnic areas are designated near the main parking area.

Went and saw the canyon and rock garden. There are beautiful views. There's a handicap ramp to go and see the canyon. The rock garden is not handicap accessible. There are lot of tree roots and rocks. Also a reminder when going to any state park. Copperheads are out and about and we saw a couple during our visit. Just leave them alone and they will leave you alone. They camouflage very well so watch your step.
