This place is a dump! Stuff in the aisles, cluttered shelves. The cashier who waited on us is just a miserable person! Sat & colored on her hand with a pen while we used our card to pay. Must of had earbuds in & was talking on the phone. Wish I could give it 0 stars. Thankfully there’s 4 other stores around this area so we don’t have to come back!

I was waiting in the car for my cousin and niece when my cousin walks out and tells me one of the staff members named bob threw a tantrum bc she didn’t see the sign about not using self checkout my niece is 4 so I’m not sure why he would’ve been cussing and screaming in his work place while children are standing right there anyone with a job and some common sense knows you can’t act like that in ur work place especially towards paying customers

I just spent over an hour trying to return items with a digital receipt in my email. I was told they could not return at the Ford City location, but I could go up to West Kittanning to return. I do not like inconsistencies when it comes to how I spend money or return items with corporations. I went to West Kittanning, and they couldn't return 2 backpacks and 2 lunch bags even though I have the items on my receipt. I am highly disappointed with Dollar General's customer service. I'm waiting on a call back from the district manager to atone this matter. They wouldn't even give me lowest selling price on a gift card. I have a 15 year retail career, so this was shocking to me as I have had to return used underwear as an associate at Victoria's Secret before. I think it goes without saying that if this matter is not absolved, I will boycott Dollar General forever. I do not care to spend my money at places where you cannot do returns after just 1 day of having the item. Shame on you and your terrible customer service and return policy and lack of training and lack of consistency. Returning after the holidays would be an absolute nightmare! Skip Dollar General this year if you're trying to decide where to holiday shop. You'll get stuck with unwanted non returnable items. Also, the new rewards where credits are earned rather than using traditional digital coupons is confusing and stupid, and if we don't figure this out, I'll just delete the app and pretend DG does not exist. I have not spent money at one specific local Sheetz on 422 SINCE MAY 2023 due to bad customer service. Money as a consumer is one tiny power that we possess. Don't spend at places who don't care about their customers.The district manager is no help. Don't waste your money at this greedy, chain basking in the glory of late stage capitalism.

The manager on duty in the evenings is always in such a great mood, she makes us feel like she is genuinely happy to see us. They always have everything we need stocked up, very organized. Watch out tho, it's very easy to go in for one or two items and come out with a cart full!!!

Every ones right about this place. Now im not against women at all, but this place is nothing but girls who are rude and disrespectful. They are also right on needing new employees. Lets just say inapplied 4 time in the last months. The girl that lives next door to me told me why i didnt get hired. And i quote. " they only hire females" wow and the manager there she is so far out of line its disgusting.

The store is starting to be pretty cluttered. They've done away with the clothing section, and several other things that I would go there specifically to buy. Jake B is always friendly and helpful when we're there. They need 10 more workers just like him!

A good variety and amount of products and seasonal items, low prices and clearance items. Safety measures followed. However a lot of the shelves (and less commonly purchased items) are extremely dusty and very unappealing, it makes the rest of the store seem unkempt.

The workers don't keep the store clean, there's always stuff sitting around the store it's constantly cluttered! Every time I go in there there's people stealing stuff and the employees are well aware and they do not care at all!!

They seem to have good deals from time to time. But, I have yet to meet this so-called "General" that commands the Dollar armies. Why does he hide? Does he fear financial battle?? Does he not want to slay his enemies on the battle field, armed only with his checkbook, pen, and money clip?? FACE ME, YOU COWARD!!!

Its good. Workers could be nicer. Some are some have attitudes, about helping people. Could be the day who knows. But i find a lot there. They have more than you think.

Store is a little cluttered compared to other dg, store coupons on the machine never want to work, but the employees are usually friendly and can typically find the things I need. Parking lot only has one entrance/ exit

Great deals....Great location...and the staff is amazing there! I absolutely love dollar general they always have what I'm looking for at lower prices than any other store and they also take EBT which is just a plus!

Store is typically unkempt, but the prices on HomeGoods, self care, and pet supplies are comparable to other stores but food price are higher than normal.

Cash only for giftcards, while the 15+ other Dollar General I have been to accept debit card with Pin. Super inconvenient, at least put an ATM in....

This place is a pig stye. The workers look like they are rejects from a freak show, the manager is constantly complaining out loud to the staff. The only reason to go here is some cheap stuff, and its close to home
