Stopped.in for a take out order. The restaurant and service was fine and they have indoor seating as well as additional tables in a side area.. Ordered grape leaves , a chicken gyro, a lamb gyro and a piece of baklava. Nothing special about the food and it was put together rather quickly which reflected in the quality of the gyro. I enjoy Mediterranean food and when it is done correctly it is amazing. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. The restaurant was not crowded at all so I was expecting a great gyro. . What we received were gyros that were put together quickly and sort of slopped together and not very appetizing . The pita was taken right out of the bag and not warmed up and the toppings and sauce seemed plopped on and the final product looked rushed with a lack of care. The grape leaves were smaller than other places as well with very little filling . They need some improvements.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is spectacular! Very authentic and tastes home made. It’s obvious they use quality ingredients and really care about what they’re serving. The owners are also the absolute best people. Rhonda (spelling?) is so sweet. She’ll make you feel like you’re family! Both locations (Fogelsville and Bethlehem) are superb. Their son runs the Bethlehem location and he’s an excellent manager. They are always attentive and kind. Do not overlook this place! You won’t find better Mediterranean in the valley!

Mediterranean Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants. We always get take out and are never disappointed. Their chicken shawarma either as a platter or saj sandwich is so flavorful with the pickles, perfectly seasoned chicken and that whipped garlic sauce. Their baba ganoush is amazing as is their baklava. Everyone is also very friendly whenever we pick up.

Absolutely amazing gyros. Stopped in because of the very high ratings on Find Me Gluten Free and it totally paid off. They were extra careful about the gluten allergy and super nice.Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Well worth the quick detour.Dietary restrictions: One of our party was gluten free and they were fabulous about accommodating.

Absolutely delicious food but they are not forthcoming in how they serve. They take your order at the table and then they come around and check on you occasionally but no one ever tells you need to get up and go to the counter and pay your bill. No one asked if we would like dessert. And you don't see your bill until you go to the counter. It was very busy for about an hour and a half because of the delicious food, but we were disappointed in the service and lack of communication.

Visited here many times whenever in this area. Food is delicious, great flavor and presented well. There is lots of room inside for dining and it's clean. Owner/chef is friendly, there is a shorter woman who's behind the counter who's very bubbly and welcoming. The older taller woman seems like she doesn't want to be there.Prices are in par with the other Mediterranean places in the area. Won't drive out of my way for lunch here but if in the area, one of my top choices.

This place is a hidden gem. We had a wonderful experience getting dinner here when we went. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the store was clean and well maintained, and the food was delicious. Of the dishes we had, the standout for me was the falafel. Perfectly crispy, well spiced, and not dry at all.I would highly recommend giving this place a go if you are in the area and looking for some good food.

After a long day of traveling, I checked in my hotel and decided to get food with Uber eat rather than driving. I’ve requested utensils with the meal and even put that on the note. However, food came without it. I was already changed and in my pjs. I wasn’t able to go to the front desk and request utensils. I could not eat the shawarma and the rice. I also had a desert that that was very dry and not fresh at all. Overall, I was not impressed by the service and the quality of the food. I rarely give 1 star to restaurants, but this one was very disappointing.

I went with my best friend and my children. It was our first time there. The food was good and price was good. I'm glad they have a kid's menu. My kids are sort of adventurous. They ordered the hamburger and fries and they liked it. I can't remember what I ordered and didn't have a chance to take pictures before I devoured the food. 😆 my friend got the rice and kabob shrimps and that was so good. The shrimp was flavorful, the rice was good and the little pita bread was good too. For our appetizers we got the falafel and I can't remember the name of the cauliflower dish. It was delicious!

This is by far the best Mediterranean restaurant I've ever been to, and one of my favorite restaurants, period. We travel constantly and eat in NYC all the time as well. There is simply no comparison. The flavors are authentic, unique, always delicious, and everything is made incredibly fresh. The family that owns the restaurant is hard working, lovely, and they are incredibly friendly people. They treat everyone who walks through the doors like they are friends, so you get to enjoy an experience that is similar to having a home cooked meal in their living room. And, to top it all off, the prices are super reasonable. This is worth the drive to get here if you're not native to the area. If you are a resident, don't hesitate to make this your new go-to spot!

Like one or two others have said.....I got a takeout shawarma and it was bad. Small, quickly put together. Literally one piece of beef and a spoonful of filling. One of these should fill you up. This one was like a half of one. For $12 I feel ripped off. This is my backup option for when I have the crave and other places aren't open but I won't be coming back again. Steel City gyro is much better; I've gotten plenty of gyros from there and never been disappointed. Should've just saved my money and waited until tomorrow to satisfy the urge. And there was a hair in it but I picked that piece off and threw it away.

After reading the reviews I was very excited to try this place. The service was not that great. The woman who served is was very brusque. The gentleman who I believe is the owner was very friendly. He visited each table and talked to the guests which I found to be refreshing. The food was not as flavorful as I would have expected. I feel that the portions are a bit small compared to other places in the area. I'm not sure if I would return.

Wow. Amazing little place. I found this online and got my fellow employees that work at our Allentown branch to try it out. We ordered the hummus as an appetizer, outstanding! I also had the kafta on saj. Great sandwich. I'll definitely come back!

The staff was very friendly and the food is authentic and good. I loved their hummus plate. The chicken gyro was also great. The Arabic coffee was the only letdown. It tasted rather 'skunky' instead of with cardamom and richly bitter. The regular coffee was fantastic however and made up for it!

Very good food ! We ordered hummus wrap and falafel wrap with their homemade bread Saj which I highly recommend. The wait time was a bit on higher side.They added pickle inside the sandwich and I think the sandwich would have tasted better without it. I usually like pickle but this was first time I had pickle in Mediterranean wrap/sandwich.Overall it was good experience. If you're around and like to try Mediterranean food, this is the place.

I really really wanted to give this place 5 stars! Atmosphere was very nice, service was great but the food was just not 5 stars. It wasn't bad and I would probably go back but it was nothing amazing! Grape leaves were good but the lamb tasted a little over cooked. Like I said.....good not great.

On a whim, my son and I stopped in at this restaurant hungry for the typical gyro. What we got went far beyond our expectations. This is the real deal folks! Authentic Mediterranean food with the best service I've had in a long time. You need...not should, try this place. You owe it to yourself. The chef gave us Babaganoush to try. I don't eat eggplant but wow. I love it! I don't eat cucumbers but the salad with the homemade dressing made it all delicious, magical. There is no heavy grease, everything is fresh and light. We met Chef Fred. This is a man who takes ride in taste, presentation in everything he makes. Randa, our waitress and owner, was the epitome of service and attentiveness without any feel of hovering. Did I say you need to try this place? Oh yes my friend, I did.
