My daughter and I walked inside Go Fish in Flourtown.We were looking for all essentials for a brand new tank. Including fish. Lance and his team jumped right in- they explained everything detail by detail.Staff spent about 45 personal minutes with us.(That was so refreshing 🐠)Lance and his team took the time to explain exactly what plants, stabilizer, fish, rocks and many other things needed. They helped us every step of the way. When I say, this was an absolute beautiful customer service experience- I’ve had in a VERY long time!Lance was always available to answer any questions- even after we left the store.Go Fish have a dedicated team that will go the extra mile to meet you and your families needs. Our experience with Lance was absolutely AMAZING! We came in with our three kids (6, 2, and 10 months). He gave us his full attention, answered our questions, and made sure we were comfortable before leaving! He provides a wealth of knowledge and his passion shines through! AMAZING PLACE… definitely the best fish store I have been to. I’ve had different fish tanks since before I can remember and this store is definitely the place to go!The owner did an amazing job at explaining everything we needed and what fish would be best for each of our tanks.We walked in thinking we were going to buy some friends for our beta tanks and walked out with a whole new tank and an axolotl (Toothless)!The owner took the time to explain the best way to set up the tank, what to put in it, and how to care for it. You could see the passion in his voice, and he definitely cares about his customers!

Super great experience with Lance. He is well versed in fish and will let you know if he doesn’t know something rather than tell you the wrong thing. Don’t be fooled by how he has pieced together his shop. He is the real deal. We bought 3 Cichlids, his specialty, three Plecos, a Loach and a cool hybrid fish that I can’t remember. His prices are very reasonable!

We popped into this fish store when we were driving thru the area. You walk in and it seems small, but there were some awesome finds! We came home with 4 African Butterflies and the most awesome oddball fish - a Duckbill Catfish. Hour drive for us, but we will definitely be sending Lance our wishlist and happily make that drive to visit again!! Fun shop and awesome owner, excellent local fish shop!!

I can't wait to go back for more fish, shrimp, snails and plants. Lance was very informative and so sweet to our kids. Family friendly, affordable, genuine & kind. Definitely our new go to spot for all our aquatic needs. His sun conure was an unexpected surprise, he took a liking to me and nuzzled up and cuddled with me. It was so cute! Great store the owner Lance very knowledgeable. He explained everything that I needed to know in easy terms to understand. He also do not try to sell you something that you do not need. Overall, great shop. If you’re new or your experienced with fish tanks or fish, this is the place to go.

My daughter recently won 2 fish at a carnival. I came to Go Fish A Fish Store about half hour before closing. Mr Lance was patient and informative about all of my questions and concerns. His recommendations and guidance in our fishes new home were details and reassuring. I will definitely be back when we decide to expand our tank!!

Lance is an amazing guy and helped us with absolutely everything we needed. All the tanks are natural and planted beautifully. Lance is a guy that guides you to a better tank and doesn’t just want your money. The fish are in the most healthy habitats. Especially the bettas which are all in their own tank instead of just a jar or cup. He is also open to requests and can order any fish you want. ( salt or freshwater)

Just bought the most beautiful goldfish for my pond. Lance was very knowledgeable and the shop has gorgeous fish and surprisingly large variety for small store. You will get great service and even better fish from this tiny gem.

I just visited Go Fish for the first time! I gotta say Lance and the team were super nice and incredibly helpful. When I visited they were doing a huge renovation to the store to make it even better for all of us. While there I was able to find a fish I've never seen before. It's always fun to discover a new fish even after being in the hobby for so long. That's why it is so important that these independent fish stores still exist.. I definitely will be back, and I am excited to see what the new store looks like.

The Owner made my fish keeping dreams come true! I am a lover of the simple but beautiful fancy goldfish and I've struggled to find reliable sources over the years. He told me all I had to do was send a picture of what I was looking for and he would make it happen. He delivered the best goldfish I've ever seen and I fell in love right away. He put time and effort into my request which I truly appreciated. They were healthy, full of personality, and all great size. Overall service was impeccable and he has a client for life!!

They really are as nice as everyone says they are! Lance is amazing & very knowledgeable. He tries to meet you where you are with your tank & maintenance preference. It’s exactly what I was looking for since I’m getting back into the hobby again & trying to much better than my last attempts. I was looking for a store with experts that would hold your hand and explain things. That also had all no dead fish in their tanks which is HUGE to me! I don’t care how nice your store is or knowledgeable your employees are if your have dead fish in the tank and you don’t seem to care when this is pointed out, I’m not buying anything. Very happy to have found them!

These guys have a real love for fish and it shows. Amazing selection of Peacocks and other African cichlids. Super friendly, great store, and knowledgeable… which is a rarity in fish stores these days. Can’t wait to go back.

Went to this store as a suggestion and I’m glad I did. Lance and his staff are a wealth of knowledge and honor of their way to answer any questions that I have. I feel like they are truly vested in me having the best fish tank I can have. I would highly recommend.Update: I have never encountered a business owner who cares more about his customers. I had a situation where I accidentally broke the cycle in my tank. Lance texted me back and forth and walked me through each step. I went to his shop and he gave me everything I needed to save my fish. I am a customer for life.

Lance and Liam are the best! I just found this lfs very recently and I'm very impressed. I accidentally chose a fish that wasn't working in my tank and he allowed me to return it and found me a more suitable fish and replaced it for free. He also had a ton of different types of plants and we are currently in the process of switching my tank to a fully planted tank. He gave me great deals also! He specially orders fish for customers also. I was very happy and will definitely be back!

Great aquarium shop! The owner is very nice and helpful. He has a great selection of peacock cichlids that have flourished since I brought 7 of them home. I will certainly be returning to get more! The shop is in a convenient location and I look forward to continuing to shop there for my aquarium needs (which is vast as I can’t stop adding tanks ). What a great fish shop! Great variety of healthy, beautiful fish! Cichlids to sting rays - very cool!The fish all seem extremely well taken care of. Every tank is a planted tank. The green from all the plants just strikes you when you walk in. You never see that level of care in a fish shop! One of the owners was walking around feeding some of the fish raw shrimp - not just cheap flakes. Again, you never see that level of care in a fish shop.The owners are very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very friendly. It was nice to talk to a fellow hobbyist as opposed to just someone who happens to work in a fish shop.Really a great place and can't wait to go back!

Liam was so incredibly helpful and really spent a lot of time with us explaining everything we asked. As a first time fish owner I had a lot of questions! This store is a real gem, you can tell they love what they do and are happy to help. They even told me I could text their number if I had questions later on during my initial setup. I stopped by to grab some supplies to start up my new aquarium this past weekend. When I got there, they were in the middle of a renovation. Instead of turning me away to come back when they were finished, Lance and Liam stopped what they were doing and helped me get everything I needed. My husband took our 12 and 8 year old sons to Go Fish and were greeted by Lance. His enthusiasm for everything aquarium related was apparent immediately. Lance spent the better part of an hour giving them demonstrations on how different types of tanks are setup, discussing all of the fish in the store and how they would get along with each other, and even a live feeding demonstration with a saltwater snowflake eel and some Anemone.He was also genuinely interested in our tank setup at home and our experience with fish. He truly cares about the fish he sells and his customers. We will only be shopping at Go Fish for our future needs! Thanks so much Lance!
