Echo Hill is a unique and fantastic country store. They have a nice inventory of food items, but some of our favorite items are the butchering and meat processing items.

Great little country store with tons of bulk goods. Spices, flours, candies, teas - you name it. They also have a good selection of organic and local food. There is a refrigerated case with milks, cheeses, meats, kefir, and kombucha. There is a parking lot and it is easily visible from the road.

They always have what I need. Very reasonable prices. Friendly service. If they don't have what you need, just ask, because they might be able to find it & order it for you.

You can find just about anything here. From fresh dairy products to flour choices to candy making to spices just so many choices for you to make from scratch at home. It's clean and staff is helpful and friendly. I love to go just to look at all the different products. Treat yourself to a visit to a real country store.

Love this store! When you first drive up you think it’s going to have very little, and then you spend hours looking at all they have. The pricing is fair, and the people are wonderful. If you need to place a bulk order or be placed on a wait list for another order to come in, they take care and call you when it arrives. We don’t go to the grocery store often since we grow as much as we can at home, but when we do it’s here.

Vegan cooking/baking items are available here! I like walking through the small store and browsing the neat health items that are available. The prices for the dried/bulk items are good, but for the smaller specialty items the prices are higher. Coming here is a treat, but not a regular shopping trip I take.

Echo Hill is a magical place where I've been coming for 20 years and have sent many friends who become "regulars" too. Most of my shopping has been for baking supplies, especially nuts, which are always fresh and reasonably priced. A wide selection of flours. Also dried fruits. Every time I'm there, they have added organic products, so there's always something new to try. There's a lemon yogurt for which the best adjective is "delectable," and a chocolate almond butter as well as regular almond butter and cashew butter, all delicious and made right there. Another reviewer mentions the "back room" women's singing; sounds as if they are practicing for choir. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and the store is spotless.

My husband and I love shopping here. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have the best eggs and milk. I can get organic products there that you can’t get in the chain grocery stores.

My family has been shopping here since I was little. My Grandparents use to make the trip from the Boyertown area just to get baking goods. I have been shopping here since moving to the area and now I shop for my baking, spice and health needs. Great family owned store, friendly with great service and prices. I now shop for my family when they need something.

It's hard to think of a spice or obscure grain that you can't find here. Every time I've been it's been packed with shoppers. The prices are reasonable and even though the place is tiny you could spend hours exploring each isle because they're packed with different and unique items. I got some plain yogurt that was delicious. They even have a hitching post out front if you're driving the horse and buggy.

This is one of my favorite stores! They have everything you need to make most any type of food. They also carry toiletries, herbal items, books, and some cookware. You can buy small amounts or large amounts. Their prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly!

Dry goods are priced reasonably, but packaged goods run a little high, like $6 for a 14 oz. box of cereal that can be had in the health section of a grocery store for around $4. This is to be expected at a small store with less buying power, though. Often, however, their brand name stuff is on sale. Compare a 6-pack of Zevia soda, $4.89 on sale at Echo Hill vs. $5.49 regular price at Giant.Again, you mainly want to come here for the bulk dry goods. We recently paid $11.70 for 14.62 lbs of stone ground 100% whole wheat bread flour, or 80 cents a pound. Rice, nuts, yeast, baking soda, soy protein isolate are also reasonable. Pastas are priced well, but most are semolina, not whole wheat. They also carry lots of special items you won't find many other places, like raw goat's and cow's milk, vegetarian chicken-less soup base, "vegetarian support" nutritional yeast and all sorts of interesting spices.Worth a trip out, and the Mennonites who own and run the place are a friendly sort.

Quiant little store with some interesting finds. Rather on the expensive side, however. Store is quite small and can easily become overcrowded on a busy day. Employees /owners tend to gawk at you as you walk through which is rather rude. Most likely will not be going again and would prefer going to the Kirbyville Farm Market, instead.
