When I am hungry for ice cream I go to my local DQ and get a Peanut Buster Parfait. It is always creamy and very good! I noticed that other DQ’s ice cream is watered down and ice milk tasting and was always happy that mine wasn’t…UNTIL TODAY 😩. Finleyville DQ what happened? Did you change your recipe? I was so disappointed that this location now has the same issue. Please bring back the good ice cream.

Don't order through the mobile app on your way to work if you don't know how busy they usually are. I'm not from the area. I don't know the hot spots yet. It was super busy. The staff was very nice after I complained about waiting (10 minutes after the time it said it was ready to be picked up. Which is understandable now seeing how busy they were) and wanting to cancel so I could get to work. They had the food ready instead, which was better than canceling! Thank you!Parking: Don't park by the drive thru, you'll get blocked in.

Here often because it's the only place in town to get ice cream. Usually my blizzards are fine, but tonight the blizzard I was given was straight liquid. I didn't notice until I got home, but I feel as if the blizzard was made by mistake earlier in the night or something and was just sitting there until some unfortunate soul ordered a brownie batter blizzard. I honestly have never had this experience before and didnt have the patience to wait for it to go in the freezer so it just went in the trash. Just a very disappointed customer.

Just another fast food chain store, right? Um, no, actually. I was working in the area, and had driven by this DQ all day, maybe 5 or 6 times. Totally nondescript, looks like a thoroughly modern Dairy Queen from the street, but, they have a large parking lot that can accommodate my truck, so, I figured I'd stop and grab a burger for lunch. Parked my truck, walked up to the door to what I assumed was the dining room, only to be greeted by a sign that reads "Cake pickup Only.". I'm like, man I can't fit in the drive thru, so I guess I'm going down the road. Upon further investigation, I realized this is no ordinary DQ, it's actually an old school building, hidden beneath a modern facade.There doesn't seem to be a dining room, and you order at the window in the front of the building, and there are picnic tables in the front and rear of the building outside. Imagine my surprise! What a treat. I didn't think there were any of these old school buildings left. Often times, the big chains will require their franchisees to replace their building with whatever the "modern" version may be. They all do it, restaurant chains, car dealers, etc. Sometimes there are holdouts, who refuse to tear down their building for whatever reason, and a good portion of them are then forced out, the chain will pull their franchise and leave the franchisee stuck with no business and a vacant building. Sometimes, I guess, they can get away with it and hold on to their franchise, kudos to these folks for keeping their old building. I'm a big fan.Anyway, enough of the nostalgic blabbering, let's get to the reason you're really here, that burger. It should really be criminal for a large chain to serve a burger that looks, and tastes this good. I was really impressed with the presentation. The veggies were crisp and cold, and the patties were cooked to perfection. A great big thank you to the staff, seriously. Thank you for caring enough to build a burger that was truly perfect. Thank you for taking pride in what you do, it doesn't go unnoticed, and it's greatly appreciated. My fries were golden and crispy, again, perfect. And, of course, I had to top it off with a cherry Dillie Bar.Look, I don't really make it a point to review a large chain in depth. We all know what to expect anytime we go to one of those places. But truly, this was one of the best burgers I've had in a while, and not just for a chain, I mean in general.For friendly service, a perfectly assembled burger, and a nostalgic atmosphere, take the trip to Finleyville and check out this awesome example of an all but forgotten time.Go check it out, you'll be glad you did!

I’m a fan of DQ. I’m not a fan of this location.The drive through line backs up onto the road, service can be slow, and items are regularly wrong.Nothing against the staff. I think they are simply overwhelmed but the experience could be better.

I will NEVER be back. We arrived at 8:30, there were five workers working as slow as possible. When we got to the window at 9:25 he said sorry we shut the grill off 10 mins ago. The grill was shut off with an entire line of people standing outside with no warning??? I asked for the manager and he said he’s the manager but refused to tell me his name. He said that it’s personal information. He did finally say his name is Jacob, not sure if he’s lying or not. I would have left much sooner than that but I had my 6 year old with me and she earned a Dairy Queen treat. It’s honestly more about how “Jacob” was incredibly rude and unapologetic. What kind of business is run like that? Very disappointed. I know people don’t want to work anymore, but with 5 employees back there, they should have been able to handle it.

The guy taking drive through orders was very kind, patient, and respectful; we hadn't had DQ in a long while and he prompted us for food options and explained what came in an item or two. The food was amazing and the service was better, the girl at the window was very sweet and we received all of our items and they were all spectacular; we hadn't been to this DQ yet, but we'll definitely be coming back. Thank you for being amazing!

We went for ice cream and couldn't even get in the parking lot. The line was 3 cars deep on the main road. I'm not counting the ones in line in the parking lot. Very dangerous. Chose to go around the cars and get in line outside. At least 20 deep. They need to make only 1 entrance and make the drive thru cars enter the line from the farthest side of the parking lot and wrap around the front to the drive thru. And fence in where the people stand in line, for safety. Now, the ice cream issues. I got a hot fudge sundae, and the hot fudge was gritty. Almost like they mixed it with the dilly bar coating. Yuck. Then my husband got a blizzard it was softer then a milkshake. I'm glad they didn't try to turn it upside down like they're supposed to. Very disappointed.

stood in line at the window for over a half hour as I watched the drive thru move quickly. this long of a wait to even place my order for two items then another twenty minutes for my ice cream. The best part… fully staffed inside and 3 people working behind the window clearly avoiding taking orders. very poor management and don’t come here on a nice day if you don’t have an hour of your time to waste

For one blizzard we had tobeit in drive-through for over 20 minutes for one person to get their food cooked. 10 cars deep. They should have to pull to the side while their food is cooked why make everyone suffer. I will no longer come here it is like this everytime. Makes no sense

First I will say that the people work there are nice because they gave me my money back for my part of my meal but I should ask them for all the money back because my boyfriend couldn't even finish his meal either after what happened we each ordered two hot dogs with cheese curls I'm not sure if that's what they're called but as I was eating one of my hot dogs Isaw green mold on the bun I could not eat any more after dad I went in and told them and they were really nice about it I I felt sick after thatParking: There's lots of parking they have tables you can sit at outside and eat

After a SUPER hectic day, I stopped to pick up a quick treat for my son’s birthday dinner and I must say… I am blown away by the positive attitudes and customer service at this location! I ordered hot food, a blizzard, and some frozen treats.Not only were they pleasant and helped me decide on a cake, I especially appreciate how they waited to make my blizzard until the hot food was ready… while keeping my cakes frozen, too.I didn’t even have to think or ask, they just took care of the details for me. Busy, time-poor moms know how glorious (and rare) it is when someone else does the thinking for you… with a great attitude!Thanks ladies, especially the friendly girl working the window/ register. Always great and fast service 👍.... I am changing my review. They did away with single hamburgers what if you can't eat a double burger? I think that's a bit ridiculous. And when pulling in to the parking lot you have to go through a crater. Please get an asphalt company in and get that fixed

Picked up a birthday cake today. Waiting for them to get it from the back I stood there and looked around the store, this is the filthiest place I think I’ve ever been in that serves food. Will be buying from DQ in bethel from now on.

The last three times I've been here they have gotten my order wrong. The first time they didn't give me all of my drinks, easily corrected, I just asked for what I was missing. The second time, they forgot our fries, again easily corrected, I just asked for what I was missing. This time, I ordered a burger with cheese plain and they put mustard on it. I went through the drive thru and it was dark, so I didn't see the mustard until I got home. I will not be going back, it isn't worth the price for them to get the orders consistently wrong. I guess on a positive note, our drinks had plenty ice and they gave us straws. Great job....

Girl at drive thru was pleasant. That is the only bright side of my experience. Hamburger was terrible, dry and tasteless. It looked as though it was sitting somewhere for a long time. Not sure what that’s about since I visited there around 12 pm.

Years ago I had a burger here called The Ultimate Burger. It was fantastic! Due to the absolute decline of every other burger joint around..yes that's you Wendy's, Burger King and McDonald's, I stopped here to try again. Got the 1/3 pound double cheese burger. Sad to say it was room temperature and the bun was stale and fell apart. Just make them at home I guess from now on.

I went to the drive threw ordered 2 pecan turtle blizzards, 1 was good but the other was nothing but a watery chocolate milk no pecans or turtle chips in it.. by the time I got home it was a mess. $10. Down the drain.

This Dairy Queen always has bunches of staff to keep waits to a minimum...they are always curious and listen to any specific instructions you want and they follow through perfectly! There's lots of parking available and bunches of space to enjoy eating there! ALWAYS CLEAN and NO trash around at all.We drive from Bethel Park to THIS VERY WELL RUN, MANAGED, CLEAN DAIRY QUEEN in FINLEYVILLE because the one in Bethel Park Rt.88 hires the laziest people ever that don't know, don't care about products, orders or customers plus waits/lines building.DAIRY QUEEN FINLEYVILLE has great made to order food with generous fresh portions. They are NEVER out of any products over the several years we have been going. The staff is FRIENDLY and you can see its not just the training they had they really like and care about where they work. The staff all help eachother and keep things moving without missing a beat in a family's order that has special requests! Now I am craving my ROYAL REESES with extra brownie and that yummy dreamy peanut butter shoot through the blizzard... ON MY WAY!!

Updated 12/23/2019 gave another chance and the blizzard was perfectly delicious!Last time I was there it was the best blizzard I think I had. I went today and it was the absolute worst blizzard. I ordered 2 banana split blizzards with extra stuff and it was mostly icecream with barely anything it in, highly disappointed.
