Prices are extremely high. Things aren't as fresh as they persuade you to think they are. I'm especially disappointed when a cashier named sherry attempts to force climate change propaganda down my throat at the checkout, keep your positions to yourself when your in a place of business and respect others. I won't be shopping at giant eagle anymore.

Grocery store always seems very well cleaned and products are in stock for the most part. I'm not a huge fan of having to download the app to get sales prices. I do it but it really aggravates me to have to do it.

Fairly poor experience every time I go here. Sometimes it is the only option for my needed items. But prices are very high, Fish counter says "fresh" but literally have seen them go to the Customer freezer and items out and dump them into the display. Deli is rarely open when the posted hours say it should be. They claim it is poor scheduling and employees are shorted on hours, which does NOT surprise me a bit. Only reason this is not a 1 star is their flowers are usually fresh. Only fresh item in the store.

Giant Eagle tends to have some products that other grocery stores do not. I like getting any lunch meats and butchered meats at Giant Eagle. They are more on the pricey side of the coin but some things are worth spending a little extra in my opinion. It is always clean and well stocked.

Good selection. Very nicely laid out, and the people are friendly. Well kept establishment. Get Go in the same lot. Shop and use your Giant Eagle perks to get gas all at once.

Pork tenderloin on sale in add. Ask someone who was stocking where it was located. He told me it wasn't on sale. Sale on great. Didn't have any that was on sale. Other items in the store are very overpriced. Very disappointed

The store was well stocked and clean. My issue was with the smell. It smelled like spoiled meat by the produce department and by the cash registers. I'm sure the employees don't smell it because they're nose blind. I was starting to get a headache from the stench. I won't be going back.

My wife does 75% of spending to run the house here. People arehonest/hardworking, place is clean&well kept. Lots of turnover, place is very by busy, so things are always fresh. Adequate parking. Lots of stores in vicinity. Home Depot, Walmart, Sherwin Williams, U-Haul, Verizon, Dollar Tree. Lots of fast food.

Prices 3/5, Selection 4/5, Service 5/5I have been coming here since there was the Iggle's nest. It hasn't changed much. The selection is alright. Prices are high unless you shipe the sales and even then it's still not the greatest. Staff is all super friendly, the store and lot are all clean and I think I've never even seen a buggy in the parking lot.

Great interaction with the folks at the bakery here when we needed a cake for a birthday party... This location is also always well-stocked and has a nice fresh fruits and vegetables department. There is a Wes-Banco location on site in store as well so you can get some banking done while you're getting groceries.

Of all the giant Eagles, it’s my favorite, even over the giant one in Robinson, it’s just too big. Very good deli and bakery. pharmacy and customer service are the best. They have a wall of gift cards and anything else you need. My only gripe is there are never enough real people checking you out and giant eagles self check-out is very temperamental, but that’s everywhere. Chippewa is the best!

I have to say I am very disappointed in my latest experience here. It was my mother's 80th birthday. We stopped in to get balloons. We got four balloons, an "8", a "0" and two balloons on a stick to sit on the table. We walked into the parking lot and 1 of the table balloons came off the stick and floated away. By the time we got to the party, the 2nd table balloon started to deflate as well as the "0". I called the store that evening and explained what happened. I was told to return to the store the next morning for a refund.I returned to the store this morning and explained again what happened, I was told the floral representative needed to approve the refund. She was very defensive because she was the one that inflated them the day before. She told me it wasn't possible for the table balloon to float away because it was tied to the stick. I told her it must not have been tied properly because it did. I also told her about the other 2 deflating. She said it needed approval from the manager because she never heard of it happening before. She got the manager on the phone and proceeded to tell them what I said. She said she didn't know how it would have happened (in other words calling me a liar). The manager authorized a 50% refund.I should have received a full refund. My mother was turning 80 not 8!The florist made me feel like a thief.My advice to anyone needing balloons for a special occasion, go to Dollar Tree. Those balloons might not have been as big but they would have been $4 instead of $40.

Pretty clean and good selection. Staff is usually friendly. Long hours are convient Prices can be high on certain items, you just have to watch. When done right, the sale prices will beat Walmart regularly. Parking is a bit tight, especially when someone doesn't know what they are doing. Pharmacy technicians and employees are helpful and willing to go the extra mile to resolve any issues.

An average store that appears to be clean and laid out in typical fashion. Prices seem to be higher than most Kroger stores. Produce selection looked nice with decent selection. To take advantage of most of the specials you need a membership card.

SIX times in the last month , I've stopped in this store to get some chicken at the hot food counter. Different times on weekends and weekdays. 3 times it was empty, twice they were in the process of taking it all down to throw out because " the temperature wasn't right", one time they were out of hot chicken, so I got cold chicken to heat at home which tasted rather old. Maybe that's where it ends up? 😄That's alot of wasted food and enough wasted time for me.

Sometimes my wallet just doesn't quite have enough in it for me to shop at Giant Eagle full time but I stop in any chance I get. Chippewa Giant Eagle has a lot of really great employees and they have been working at this location for a very long time. That is a good indication of a decent management team and decent job. The store is always clean. They are doing their best to lower prices but over all it usually is a little more expensive.

Clean, fresh, economically priced, local grocery store with decent selection. Specials on certain meats are great but local butchers and other supermarkets selling meat in bulk may beat their prices. Good selection of organics and other products for the health-conscience. Hoping they start selling beer soon!Update: Walmart has better prices for meat, the perks program keeps changing to confuse the customer and target and exploit spending patterns. As soon as customers have a handle on where they can save the most, the program changes it seems. It's still a go to for produce.

The posted prices on their fresh fruit are always lacking. Either the price is missing or wrong, or they don't state the size for the posted prices. Also, they had no fresh lettuce other than organic or head lettuce. No romaine or leaf lettuce unless you buy it in a box! Why does this area only supply lettuces in a bag or box? Spinach in a bag or box I can see. It's that way everywhere from east coast to west coast, north to south. But a bundle of fresh lettuce that I pick out and put in a bag, where's that at?

Plenty of food, bakery and produce to pick from. Store is well lit and very clean. It is handicapped equipped. I use a scooter to shop while my wife uses a buggy.

This is a pretty good Giant Eagle. The store is clean and the service is friendly. They only have one, or possibly two, self checkout lines, but I prefer the standard checkout anyway. The store has always been well stocked, and there is a GetGo about a half mile away.

I am extremely disappointed that apparently no one appears to be trained on how to bag groceries. 3 times in the past 2 weeks and every time they constantly put refrigerated items in w/ non refrigerated. Most recently I purchased 12 bags of groceries that contained 11 refrigerated or frozen items. When they were bagged, 10 bags had 1 cold item in each. Dropping avocado's and tomatoes into the bag instantly bruising it, is not a good practice either. Does the management at this store not have a training in place for these employees? I would think this would be an important topic in food handling. Cold food packed with cold food helps maintain the proper temp. Giant Eagle is more expensive than most so we should expect the best. They do a very nice job at display and produce is a good quality. BUT, if they are going to bag it so that it half thawed or out of proper temp range and bruised and battered by the time I get it home what's the point of visually appealing displays and stocking procedures when it will make you sick if you eat it.

Most over priced grocer i have ever been too. If you make less than 300k annually you might want to consider Aldis.
