Great small business. We love our lizard that we got from there and the owner is a great resource if we have any questions. You may pay a little more than you would at a big box store, but I'd rather pay more for a healthy reptile that was well cared for by a very knowledgeable individual.

Great little Pet Store!!! Rick was very helpful and took time to stop and talk with me … Big stores just don’t do that. Get out to these little independent Pet Stores and help local businesses thrive again!!! People get online and complain about service and the Big stores … Start fixing the problem and stop shopping there and take your money to these little stores!!!! You will be happier in the long run. :)

the workers here really care about animals. my mother and i went here about a month ago to get more fish for our tank, and the worker had us test our water and told us witch fish would get along best. she took time explaining everything we needed to know and i’ve always loved this place, simply because how healthy and happy their animals look! this is also a family owned business!!

Rick- The owner is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend this pet store! He is very sweet and wants to help anyone coming in. That’s rare, places just usually want your money and a quick transaction.

Nice selection of fish but the older man who helped us was condescending to his younger staff and made me felt like I was trapped in the checkout area until I answered all his questions properly about how I keep my fish. Not to mention you have to watch where you step because you might fall through the floor. And the poor macaw birds in the back. I felt so sorry for them. They're clearly stressed and the one looked like it's pulling it's feathers out.

I’ve been patronizing this shop since I was thirteen years old and had my first aquarium decades ago. The owner and co-owner or manager (?) are both beyond knowledgeable and helpful whether you are there in person or call to ask for advice. I have never been disappointed with a purchase. Also, if they don’t have something I want or need, they’ve gotten it for me.

The old man make me feel trapped in the store. I went in for one fish with two of my friends. I was hoping for a quick trip but the old man kept interrogating me on how I keep my tank, telling me that my system is wrong and my fish won’t last one week, kept on saying how my generation is lazy and doesn’t know how to take care of a tank properly, and then got mad when I said I was in a rush. A ten minute trip turned in 45 with his with all his banter. I wouldn’t mind talking to him but he just kept being rude so I just wasn’t comfortable anymore. Lastly the floor is caving In so bad. I don’t understand how that place is still open.

I've been going there on and off for many years. The owner is a helpful and nice guy. But the last time I went there the Bettas were in little plastic drinking glasses, and looked pretty sickly.

Aquatic Gardens is a great place to go for fish. The gentleman is very helpful! I wanted to add more fish to my daughter in law tank . He was helpful in letting me know what fish go together. BTW fishies bare doing great!!!

This place is incredible! It's a little bit rundown and things haven't been updated in years, but you don't need to fix things that aren't broken. They have the healthiest looking fish and reptiles in the Pittsburgh area and they are very friendly and knowledgeable people. Be careful, or you could get stuck there talking for hours and not even realize it because it seems like you're just talking to one of your uncles

My son and I visited Aquatic Gardens to see what kind of fish they have, grab some supplies, and get some advice. We were really impressed with the variety of fish available. Every fish seemed active and healthy. The man working was extremely busy; but managed to hook us up with the type of filter we were looking for and suitable accessories. We will definitely be buying fish from Aquatic Gardens.

This place is amazing and well worth a longer trip if you don't live nearby. (We drove about an hour) their fish are super healthy. They have a nice assortment of fish and plants and they have a wealth of information to share. Go check them out you won't regret it!

Nice selection! A bit pricey. I was in there during a typical cleaning of cages and maintenance of aquariums. The parrot they have seems stressed because of very few feathers. But it may be a rescue. Overall a great place for aquarium items and fish!!

Walking in took me back to growing up with my local hardware store and pet shop. There was Bill and Rick the owner, with Dale in the background. It took me back. But total professional in what I needed. Would only sell me 2 fish to start to make sure tank was right and fish weren't dying. Hope to get 2 more each week for next 4 weeks. They'll only ok as long as I bring water for testing. They want me to have a tank of fish that last. That's the way I remember it's supposed to be. Thank you guys.

Not sure what all the one star reviews are about, but I can assure you that those people aren’t in their right mind. This is the best local fish store with a great variety of beautiful, healthy fish, birds, reptiles, and rodents, all for a great price. Rick and Bill know their stuff and provide a healthy home for the animals in the store. Can’t recommend this local business enough.

Very knowledgeable about what they sell and can tell they 100% truly care about there animals. Only down side few of the workers were very unpleasant and hard to find someone to help while there was about 5 available worker's and we was the only customer. But still amazing shop and again very caring about how they sell there animals . I would suggest this place definitely!

Was a customer 25 years ago and happy Aquatic Gardens is still around. Like an old hardware store; a bit cluttered and nothing fancy but this place has a bit of anything you could need. Not to mention the knowledge the owner and staff has to offer. Great Place and priced well based on the fish & supplies I looked at today. I will definitely be returning soon when time to place fish (Nice Variety of African Cichlids) in my new tank.

I was excited to go to a small local small business and ended up extremely disappointed. There were dead fish floating in the tanks. One being a saltwater fish. Way too any rats in the cages. The mothers had rats on them that should have been on their own. Brown water in one of the water bottles. The tropical birds were shivering and looked horrible. The saltwater tanks had red slime.

Very disappointed, I’ve been in here quite a few times and I was always wondering why the store seemed pretty empty of customers and now I understand. I asked if I was able to go look at the reptiles in the reptile room because I was looking to add a reptile to my home and the owner very rudely stated to me do you actually want to buy some thing or do you want to waste my time and had an attitude with us. We left immediately unfortunately I guess we will not be back

Great independent fish store in Beaver Falls. The guys who work there are cool. Seemingly knowledgeable about there inventory. We buy fish from them often instead of supporting Petco or PetSmart. Try them out.

I can't believe how many people like this awful death trap for reptiles. Not one of the reptiles were housed properly. They were clearly sick!! The chameleons had no humidity and were shrivling. It was awful, i left that shop in tears. If you care at all about reptiles don't go here or buy anything on the shelves..everything was expired and dusty. I may call somewhere about the well being of their animals!

Dude with the crutch sucks!! Three times now I have been to the store to try and purchase crickets for my bearded dragon and he looks at me and just keeps on doing what he was doing!! He is rude and slow and very very unprofessional!!

It's an old store that has been in our town since forever and they have a lot of different fish, reptiles and mice. I go there a lot and always have. I also have known the owner since forever.

This store has the healthiest fish tanks I've ever seen. There is algae on the tanks but, having had freshwater fish my entire life, I can honestly say these are quality freshwater fish. I highly recommend this store for koi and all freshwater needs. I'm not knowledgeable about the other plethora of saltwater and small animals so I can't comment on those.

This store accepted a stolen bird from a 72 yr old schizophrenic woman off her meds claiming that Jehovah told her to "save the bird". I'm disabled and the bird is my emotional support animal and I have personally paid for grooming services for Ollie in the past 3 months when Rick and his granddaughter Madi both attended to and were but by Ollie. They knew, BEFORE accepting possession, this woman was not the legal owner and Rick had promised to return him, upon arrival, they said it was a domestic civil matter between mother and son and they didn't want involved and refused to return my bird. This is NOT a civil matter, the bird was not hers to take and she will not deny that in court when we go. Now they are telling me the SOLD my stolen bird "to a good home" and have reported my partner's previous review to censor their nasty behavior. They know the civil courts are closed and don't think I will take them to small claims when it reopens, but they have robbed me of my doctor recommended emotional support animal that I have pictures, receipts, and text all confirm and prove ownership, and are distressing me well beyond the small claims limit here in Beaver County. If they have this review removed I'm going to put my mask on and start a protest in front of their store.
