The team who handles the fish are extremely knowledge and very helpful. They take the time to give pointers, dos and donts on how to keep fish, what to feed them, frequency on feeding, etc. Great experience which is why we keep going back

It’s sad that instead of focusing on selling pet essentials, they’re selling live animals with little to no clue on how to properly care for them. Pet stores that sell live animals are actively contributing to the crisis shelters and animals are facing everyday (overcrowding, being dumped, mishandled, neglected, etc.) and they clearly don’t care. So, why would you rely on them to supply your pet products? Go elsewhere.

I absolutely love this store. I have several different kinds of pets . The store has everything I need and the staff here is amazing ,very helpful .the points program gives great discounts . I even got to meet the owner over the weekend who actually came and helped me with choosing correct food for my pup. Such great customer service .

DO NOT ADOPT (BUY) a puppy from this place. Long story short I was told my puppy was 3mo old and when we did paperwork he was over 5mo's old. It gets better, told me it was a Catahoula Leopard dog mix, I guess because they all come from the south and the Catahoula are named after a Town in Louisiana. My dog is a Shepard mix, what I was told by both our Vets and groomer. Since the parents to my dog our unknown they figured they go with it. Now the best part, my dog had this cute wiggle when he walked and we thought it was cute. After having Dagger for a couple of weeks we noticed he was starting to have trouble getting up the steps and bunny hoping. We had him checked immediately an paid for x-rays only to find he has Hip Dysplasia. Mind you they say these dogs are checked by Vets and this cute wiggle we are told is a dead sign of it. So we are faced now with decision that sickens my stomach. We love this dog so much but don't have $6000 to $10000 to fix him. We have already spent a lot of money getting him check and medication to ease his pain. He whimpers sometimes when he gets up and it is truly heart breaking. I can only ask for prayers for our Dagger, I can't even go on, sorry

Adopted this pretty boy a few weeks ago. We have been buying fish and aquarium supplies here for years. Great selection, staff is highly informed and full of information you don't get at a "big box" pet store. Associates are always friendly and very helpful.

In particular, Luke in the Fairless Hills store goes out of his way to be of help. Thank you for a great retail experience!

Pets Plus has everything I need including my new puppy. They rescue puppies from states that are overrun with strays and bring them up to place for adoption. Or puppy came from Mississippi and was found in a cooler with 16 puppies. Three didn't survive but our little guy made it. He's a real sweetheart.

The tall blonde man (who is or thinks he is) in charge of things while the store manager or store owner is not there is very ignorant and has extremely bad customer service skills. He never smiles, always looks miserable and the word powertrip don't even come close to how he treats the customers. There are plenty of other pet stores around to shop at so I will not be shopping at the Fairless Hills Pet Plus ever again.

This is a good pet store run by a good manager, however, there’s allot of whacky people that rotate through there, as no one seems competent to answer questions intelligently. The store itself is well stocked, kept in order, and clean. It’s easily the best of the chain in the area.

Back to selling puppies and rippping people off again! They want $2500 for a dachshund puppy. Stated on their website they claim that they only work with Humane Society and they are now a rescue center. I called and spoke to the manager at the Fairless Hills pets plus on Saturday and asked her why they were selling puppies again. Off the bat she was defensive. She claimed that she has been working there for four years and this is the first time that this has been a thing and she doesn't know why or how this happened. Being the manager you'd think she should know what's going on in her store 👀. When I tried to call them out on Facebook, they said that these dogs came from a "breeder" and they have paper.. they also blocked me 🤷🏻‍♀️ Let's be honest working in the veterinary field. I know damn well that a "good breeder" does not sell their puppies to pet stores. They have their own waiting list for clients.. I called the Landale store because that's their main store and ask the manager if they sold puppies and he said "we do not sell puppies anymore we only adopt." I emailed the main email to the company and have not heard anything. I did leave my number for the animal operations director and let them know that if I don't hear anything back next week, I will call every day until I speak to someone in regards to this.. something shady is going on there it seems they are back to selling puppy mill dogs again. Even if you got these puppies from a breeder how do you justify selling them for a profit for $2200- $2500 dollars.Also forgot to mention - after talking to an ex employee that the manager is a man at the fairless hills store. Who was in the store the day(Saturday 2/10) when I called to talk to a manager. Instead of getting on the phone with me and explaining the situation on selling puppies he decided to have an employee take the call who claimed she was a manager and was defensive and rude off the bat.

Went to adopt a puppie today. Was told it wasn't a good time as it was close to feeding time and that they really werent taking them out unless we for sure wanting to apopt the puppy. Who can say responsibly by looking at a dog if its a good fit for their and the dogs lifestyles? Came back after the feeding window which was supposed to be 2 hours later and got ignored, after another hour we asked and the same guy who told me we cant see the puppies unless we are serious about adopting the dog told me nope still the feeding window..my heart for these poor puppies who had multiple people trying to see them and the workers not helping them get adopted .

Both of our fur babies were adopted from Pets Plus Fairless Hills. Our first in 2018 and our 2nd last year! Our first was sick, we fell in love with our little one while he was sick the VET their took great care of him. We got to go in and visit him as often and for how long we liked. They kept him 2 weeks after we officially adopted him to observe him getting better on antibiotics and we got to bring him home on medication and do a follow up with the VET a week later at his actual practice. That VET was so sweet and covered that entire visit for us! We had nothing but positive things to say about them. Our second dog was healthy and brought her home same day. We actually got in touch with her foster family in Louisiana through the Facebook page showing she was adopted. The foster family family also shared a few photos of her which we never would have seen had we not connected . I understand others have had bad experiences using them but I can definitely tell you they care for these animals. They recognize us from going into the store and our animals. Unfortunately for a lot of these dogs they don’t have a history on and they don’t know their full health reports and it’s a risk you have to take when adopting but we would do it all over again!

This pet plus store I must say it’s Super clean, they have Amazing Staff that cares and are always willing and eager to help you.I have been going to this pet plus for the pass month every week to find the right pet for me.Keep in mind that I come back and forward from Florida to New Jersey many times a year and I always stop by this amazing store. When I’m in the area.I must say the staff here are always willing to help. After a few weeks from coming here I decided to adopt a 3 month old Labrador Retriever color black name Scooby and I must say I made the right choice because scooby is amazing and so loving. Scooby also learns extremely Quick. One of the girls there help me pick him she give me feed back about Scooby and she explained he would be the right choice for me because of a few concerns I have, boy was she so on point . I love Scooby and Scooby loves to play with my other dogs as well. We walk him, take him out to the dog parks etc.I could not be more happy and satisfy with the help I receive from the staff here. Oh wait the store manager was also extremely helpful as well and very knowledgeable. He help me with all the paperwork I needed. ThanksI highly recommend anyone to Adopt a dog from here. As well as to buy anything they need for their pets. It’s a very clean store .

I love my verus food for my dog, but to change the bag that was before 30 pounds and now 25 pounds for the same price not cool, so much for the new look, plus the bag has a big cut on it ! plus they gave us a free k9 advantage, which I thank you for it but the toy ball was already cut in half and my dog broke it in one second and all the tiny pieces of black plastic could be in her stomach, I hope people don't spend money on those toys, they stink too.

This particular Pets Plus is one of my favorites compared to the other locations. They truly have a huge selection of dry dog food along with great toys and treats for the furry friends in life. The majority of their staff is friendly and helpful when asked questions. I did have a great interaction and conversation with the employees named Heather and Madison today. The overall store appearance is clean and well organized.

Very nice pet store. Great place for reptile owners. Live insects by the dozen or a box of 1000, lots of reptile products. Fairly priced.Also they have rescue dogs, so consider looking at Pets Plus of you want to adopt a dog.

Although they have a wide variety and large selection of pet supplies, they are horrible at taking care of their pets. If you can’t separate male from female animals because you don’t have enough space causing the females to get pregnant and have unsuspecting customers adopt pregnant animals unknown to them. That’s ridiculous! If you can’t separate them then stop over ordering animals. Take better care of the pets! I knowingly adopted a pregnant female and a male. I have 9 others. I waited 10 minutes just for someone to finally show me them. The lady said “I think she might be pregnant.” Think?!?! She was only days away from giving birth! Any rat handler would know that. Know your pets!

You can tell they care for the animals, not just the paycheck.EDIT- Jan 2024...Just wanted to comment to the lady who posted that the staff here was not caring for the rabbits correctly because they were feeding the young rabbits hay & pellets. I don't know where you got the idea that young rabbits should not eat pellets, but you are very wrong. A simple Google search and credible sources that specialize in rabbit care all say that baby rabbits should ONLY EAT alfalfa hay and PELLETS. Perhaps your bunny was laying down cuz he was tired lol.
