Michael came to our home, inspected the fireplace, cleaned the entire system, and gave us really good guidance on what repairs are necessary to make this a safe, functional heating source. I called Mike when I needed repair work done on my propane fireplace. I had called the retailer I purchased the stove from and they told me it could be up to 2 weeks before the work could be done. As this is my only source of heat, I needed this work done quickly. Mike was willing to rearrange his schedule to fit me in as soon as the parts arrived. Even though I thought the stove had been properly cleaned by a previous tech, Mike took the time to actually complete the cleaning it needed and install the new parts. Mike went above and beyond by explaining what might have happened to the old parts and how to properly adjust the stove. Mike was very knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain everything... Even on a late Friday afternoon with a snow storm pending.Will definitely keep Mike on speed dial. Complete Chimney Service did beautiful work in repairing the chimney on our 125 year old home. They rebuilt the chimney top, removed old terra cotta liner and replaced with steel liner, and added a chimney cap. They were professional, friendly, and very respectful of the property and yard. Mike came for a simple chimney cleaning and upon completion of the cleaning he felt that there was a larger issue inside and asked if he could scope it at no charge to me. He walked me through exactly what he was doing and let me see what we was looking at. We ended up finding a large hole inside the flue and he recommended that I no longer use the chimney until I get it replaced. No pushy sales, gave me honest advice, recommend local places, told me what to get, and no upcharges for any of these services. Michael did an amazing job. He was meticulous with the masonry work and flue repairs. He was reliable, knowledgeable and highly skilled. He communicated well and showed up when he said he would. He took great care to protect my home and cleaned up every day. He knows so much about his craft and I felt so lucky to have found him. Several other companies did not even want to try to do a masonry firebox and gave outrageous quotes. I told Mike that my fireplace is now his fireplace and I will have no one else touch it. I had just purchased my house and I knew I needed to have my chimney looked at. It was in bad shape. I decided Google was my best bet to find a chimney guy. I came across Complete Chimney Service right at the top of the list and based on the other reviews from very satisfied customers, I gave Mike a call and scheduled my chimney to be looked at. Mike is amazing! My chimney was in bad shape. This I knew and we discussed my option to correct it and make it right. Mike is very knowledgeable concerning his craft and affordable. Safety was also a big consideration when making the corrections for my chimney for me. I can not say enough about Mike and his staff. Thank goodness for Mike! When he came out to inspect our chimney, he showed us how dangerous the wood burning fireplace in our rental property had become. We had renters arriving in a matter of days and had to act fast, and Mike came through for us in a big way! I found a brand new insert available but couldn't pick it up. Mike and his son picked it up and installed it just in time! They are respectful, kind and their work is impeccable! We are having them install another insert in our other property. Took 4 months to fix the venting in our fireplace. Was supposedly due to a back ordered part (which may have been true), but the communication was terrible. Also, we could never get an estimate and was much more than we expected. Giving 3 stars because the work was satisfactory, but the experience was definitely not.

Where to begin? These folks were incredible. I called them in desperation to get my moms chimney cleaned before it started to get cold. Eliza could not have been more accommodating. They were at mom's house in just a couple of days and did it all. What professionals! And they also saw that my mom had a problem with her gutters and fixed it on the spot. And they didn't leave a speck of soot anywhere to be seen! The folks at Complete Chimney Service have renewed my faith in the service industry. I was first impressed that Mike responded to my inquiry within an hour of it being sent on a Monday night. He scheduled an appointment to check out the job on Wednesday and by Thursday morning we had what we thought was a very fair price to repoint our chimney (it needed a lot of TLC). He started the job the very next Tuesday and stayed late to polish it off on Wednesday. Overall, from begining to end, Mike and the rest of Complete Chimney were wonderful to work with.
