It’s clean and staff was friendly. However the price of tropical fish is through the roof. I have never seen tropical fish this expensive. Tetras a year ago we’re a little over $2. Now they’re over $4. Considering how tiny they are and that they’re a community fish that does best in a school of at least 10. You can imagine how expensive this adds up to fast. Just a rip off.

When I used to live in Chadwell I went here to get stuff for my cat and fish. Went in today and was told that I need a 10 gallon tank......for a single gold fish......idk if they somehow misunderstood or were trying to rip me off but it put me off. A small plastic tank for a single gold fish is ok,

Grooming review: I called today for an appointment to get both of my dogs’ nails trimmed. Lauren told me to come right over and she would fit them in. She was amazing!!! My one dog is big and super strong, and she puts up quite a fight due to a bad and painful nail trim in the past. Lauren was so calm, gentle and patient with her. Hopefully a positive experience like this will make for a less anxious visit next time.Update: Second nail appointment with Lauren and my dogs did great! She is transforming my one large dog. She had another positive experience and was like a different dog. I am so relieved and grateful!

Our experience at PETCO is generally very good. We usually find what we need or can find helpful associates. On our last visit the shelf with cat liter we like was empty. A friendly employee found a bunch more bags in stock. Checkout was as usual, a friendly and helpful experience. We were even asked if we needed help getting the 5 x 40lb bags to the car.

I went in to purchase my grandson a turtle set up and a gift card for a turtle for his birthday. The tank set up was tagged on sale for $183.99 originally $229.99.When it would not reduce with my PETCO card they called the manager out. The sale had expired 7/4 even though it still had the sale tag on it the manager would not honor the sale priceManager just said sorry can not it is not 0n saleIf I did not need this gift for my grandson I would have walked out with our paying for anything. My total after additional extras was $343.

They would not abide by their return policy despite what they told me when I brought the fishes. They told me that all fishes, including feeder fishes, were covered under their return policy. We went through all the details to confirm that my aquarium is good to go for these fishes. Then when I returned, they first try to tell me feeder fishes are not covered. Then they were through the details for my aquarium and how it didn't meet the requirements (all of which were confirmed before I brough the fishes). They then pretend to test my water sample and said some levels were too high, but refused to show me the results (I tested myself before I came, and when I glanced at their test strips, it appeared acceptable). Worst of all, they tried to blame it on the water heater I was using. Come on now, the water heater is set to a specific temperature! It doesn't just turn on and stay on all the time. These people try to sound like professionals but they are just liars. They treat their customers like idiots just to save a few dollars.

Not a good experience here. I explained what I wanted to use "feeder" fish for and they told me I didn't meet the requirements to keep these 25¢ fish for. They would not sell me the fish. They talked about quality of life for these feeder fish. I told them the customer is always right, they disagreed. I'll take my business elsewhere, lots of great pet shops around.Steer clear of this place. They will treat you like you know nothing about pets.

The staff are always so welcoming! They make a big deal about my dog when he comes in and he gets soooo excited!! He loves going to the groomer because of the staff!! They do an excellent job with nice attention to details!

They're the only place I can find USA-based cat treats which actually go for a decent price, so I go specifically for 1 item, because everything else there is too pricey. I will say every cashier I've ever interacted with seems to truly love their job, and I love that for everyone

Been there 3 times for tropical fish... I have found their prices to be TOO HIGH, and their customer service to be OUTRAGEOUSLY POOR.... Now I'm speaking about the girls who help out with the fish!!! The cashiers, btw, are always pleasant... What this place apparently SPECIALIZES IN is DOGS!!!! FISH just ain't their bag...So I live in Exton, and was driving the 20 minutes each way... Then I tried the Pickering Valley Farm and feed about 3 minutes from home... The one on Uwchlan Ave..They are a much larger store, have a nice mix of 'pet oriented' products, are are not only knowledge about Tropical Fish, but a helpful as well as Knowledgeable!!!!

It's good but expensive, useful when you're in a hurry and don't mind paying anout 1.5 times what you'd pay online. I will say that the employees are always super nice and very knowledgeable. I had a good experience with their trainers, and my dog loves going there to shop. They're also the only groomers able to handle her while still being gentle.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. They refused to honor their return policy for a purchase that I made for a $100 pet gate that explicitly states on my receipt I am able to exchange my purchase for an in-store credit if it is after 60 days as long as I have my receipt. The employee and manager I spoke to claim that their return policy changed between the time that I made my purchase, and the time that I was attempting to make the exchange, which was only a few months. Additionally, the manager was unwilling to help me out in any way even for a partial exchange. All they did was just regurgitate a scripted line stating that their policy had changed and the system wouldn’t allow her to give me a store credit. This store and Petco will never be getting a cent from me ever again, and I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know never to shop here.
