I love coming here to purchase items for my growing babies! You can usually find great prices. However yesterday while shopping, I felt like some things were overpriced. A lot of toddler Cat and Jack and Old Navy dresses marked between $6.50-$8.00 when they’re that price pretty much brand new. That was disappointing considering I came there specifically for those items. I’m hoping they train employees a bit better so those prices can remain reasonable and fair to both the customers and the store. The staff is very friendly and the store in clean and organized.

We are always able to get our entire seasonal wardrobes here. Couldn't recommend enough. Also have a great selection of like new toys to pick from at awesome prices. This place is a godsend for any parents want in the area.

As a buyer you may love this place as a seller... Eh not so much. They purchased 38 pieces from me of good clothes for kids and they paid me 45 bucks for it all. Also long waits on the weekend.

This place just popped back into my head. We moved back to Oregon in June and the closest one to us now is in Salem, which is quite raggedy by comparison. I really miss this store. Well kept and saves so much money! I wanted to offer my review as support of a well run business.

We have been shopping here for around 4 years now. The clothes options are great in the new shop which has been extended. The toy section however seems to be worse than the original smaller store and selling toys is terrible as you get nothing for them which is why I believe they have not much now. Overall a good store but could be improved

Wow has this place expanded. If your having a baby go here first the baby equipment and clothes are half of what you pay and most of the cribs or what not are in prime condition. The only down side....There were 9 people working...9 and no one saw that I was standing in line, for what felt like forever. Then waiting on... Inna made me feel like I was inconveniencing her and what she had to do. Custom service sucks but value.

I love this store. It's a bit of a drive from where I live. About 45 minutes to an hour. But I could spend hours in here looking at clothes for my girls. I usually go overboard shopping here. Gently used children's clothes toys and accessories.

Update: bought a pair of fleece pjs for toddler and got home - it is see though!! the receipt says they only give half a refund. I'd pay more in gas to get there. I won't be going back.Good for buying but not selling. They wouldn’t even take new items that I missed the return window. But some items on the rack had stains and wear marks. Didn’t make sense to us.

I haven’t shopped at the store but it’s an awful place to sell. You’re better off donating rather than selling brand new toys and getting maybe a $1.00 for them so they can earn a huge profit. I dropped off two large bags of mint condition toys, some were brand new still in the packaging and they took almost every thing. 29 items for $23.00. I was mind blown, less than a dollar per item and when I asked if they could explain how they came to this number for all these basically brand new toys, the girl said she wasn’t the one who sorted my items so she doesn’t know. Very disappointed and it feels like a huge scam. I would rather donate to Goodwill where they will sell the items for an actual low cost to those in need. Sellers beware.

This used to be a great place to get kids clothes on a budget, but lately it seems like they're paying no attention to what they buy/ sell. Browsing through, there are so many clothes that are overly- pilled or faded being sold for the same price you'd pay at Old Navy or Kohl's during a sale. Just bought boys pants the other day to find a hole in them when I got home. It's crazy to me that this is the stuff they're buying just because it's name brand, yet you bring them a bunch of almost new clothes and they reject it.

I’m somewhat disappointed in Once Upon a Child. I try to inspect their clothes thoroughly but sometimes I miss things. Lately I’ve been getting more shirts with holes in them than I’d expect. I’m frustrated because they may not buy certain pristine clothes because they’re old styles but they’ll buy newer clothes that are damaged? I don’t get it. Overall, I’ll still shop there because they have a large selection. Just inspect the items better.

Most of the clothing is over priced. I actually saw one shirt that had a tag on from Target; it had a (target) clearance sticker saying ‘was $4.50 now $2.00’ and once upon a Child, was actually selling it for the original $4.50! 😂You can get much better deals at Goodwill, or Facebook marketplace. Heck, even Amazon has cheaper clothes. Brand new.

Good for shopping not good for selling.I don't know why I keep going back to sell, I'm consistently told that I bring in good brands, but that they are over three years old or stained. Meanwhile, they take the clothes that were either mine or my brothers which are over 20 years old. But won't except clothes bought a year ago with tags still on.

My husband and I brought 4 totes of clothing to sell about a week ago. I called ahead to find out what they accepted (which really helped) and the staff member I spoke with was very informative. They passed on some of the clothing I brought in and took about 3 of the 4 totes. Staff even explained why they didn't take the items they passed on, which was perfectly fine with me. They were very friendly, thorough and efficient. The store was very clean and well organized. We even picked out an outfit or two to buy while we waited. We definitely plan on buying from them in the near future. The clothes were clean and some even brand new! Prices were also great and worth the trip as we live and hour away. If you have a large lot be sure to show up early, as they can and do get a line of people with different sized lots. Depending on the amount of people and size lot you have will depend on how long they take which could be up to an hour or so. Luckily there was plenty to look at in the store and plenty of other stores to shop at while you waited for the text or call.

Good for buying most of the time. Horrible for selling. I get that they have to make money but you’re much better off selling yourself at a local sale or marketplace. Annoying when you take time to wash, fold, drop off and have them take hours only to take nothing and throw everything back without folding. I have brought new, name brand, expensive items and have them pass but see some very questionable items for sale. I’m not sure if the buyers aren’t knowledgeable of nicer brands or just don’t care. I will never sell here again. It’s almost insulting.

We are having an event in our community to support or school children who need clothing. The owner and staff we dealt with here at Once Upon A Child are so kids and sweet. They helped support our event and we are very grateful for them. I would absolutely recommend to this store for how they treat people, how they care about others and also how they keep their store so well kept and tidy.

Once upon a child Exton is the most amazing children's store there is around! This store has the best, most friendly, helpful staff. Adorable styles of clothes for any age. I love the prices and sales here also, everything is affordable. My daughter loves the toys as well! Our number one store to shop!

I came from 45 mins away and was unaware they no longer are taking more than 4 bags of clothing (I came with a lot of stuff) they kindly went through all my stuff and let me know not to worry about it just to know for next time, took 60 items and gave me $58!!! I was pleasantly surprised. $1 an item for used clothing? That’s much better than tossing it out like I have been doing for so long before I knew about this place! ALOT of nice stuff for cheap too, I will be coming here more often!

Store is hands down the best place to go for kids clothes! All name brand and completely unbeatable prices! Store is very well organized and clean and the employees are super friendly and welcoming! Just got my babies a few outfits each (Nike, Under Armour, and Champion) and also some new toys... spent under $60!! Before you hit any of the stores or even outlets, you should go check this place out!

Edit/update: I’m deducting a star. The last few times I’ve been here I’ve cringed at the prices. I can often buy new clothing for the same price (the same brand too). They claim they charge a certain percentage of the new price which may work for high end brands but certainly not for carters, h&m, old navy etc. Even so, I’m not paying $15 for a used toddler dress just because it’s from Hanna Andersson. Also, $10 for a tiny bag of about 20 lego duplos! That one made laugh. I used to love shopping here but it’s almost not worth the trip anymore. Also, I like a good experience when I’m shopping and this place can get VERY crowded with so much stuff in it and pushy people scouring the racks like they are hunting for treasure. Not my cup of tea.A truly great place to shop! I’m always so impressed with how well organized and how much selection there is. I have never tried to consign here and don’t really intend to but I always find great deals on brands I really like (Hanna Andersson, Tea Collection, Zara). If you are looking for thrift store prices then look elsewhere, the best items/brands range from $4-10 so it’s not dirt cheap but the clothes are clean and the shopping experience makes it so worth it.

Horrible experience, I brought them 7 bags of brand new name brand items with tags of $50+ on each. Basically gave me a dollar a piece, never again will do business here. Unfortunately due to circumstances I had to accept the offer, but just know you'll get nothing for your consignment here. Best to post on sites yourself.

Our recent trip here was not the greatest. The both room is now dedicated to the 'changing room' when I am trying on clothes in the bathroom and I hear voices I feel rushed but that is not my fault. I should not have to feel rushed to support a company. They have a changing room but the will not clear it out. I do not like being rushed trying on clothes, I should be able to take my time and decide if I like what I picked out or not. If we come the next time and the changing room is not open I will not be shopping there again because not to mention but this is a baby and child's store so babies are being changed it the bathroom and we had gone in once and it smelled horrible. They said it wasn't that bad because the door was open for twenty minutes but they didn't care.

My wife & I travel down to this store from Allentown to sell and buy our kids clothing. It’s a wonderful store! You can’t beat the prices! It only makes sense to go to this store because from a consumer standpoint it’s a win/win. Why buy these over priced big box store brands, just for your kids to grow out of it within months? Attempted to shop here several times. Few times actually bought. I feel some items are way over priced. Just attempted my first consignment. Brought in 3 large bags and took back most of it. Items were in very good condition. Not clear why they were not accepted. A friend of mine felt the same way. Not worth the trip to consign here. Store has a great layout. Very clean. Owner is very nice. I’m not sure if place will last with current clothing policy. I hope things change. Would hate to see place go.
