This grocery store is a Godsend. It's somewhat hidden away in the Exton Shopping Center, next to the Xfinity Store. Lidl is a German company, and is designed in the European style. It's fully stocked with high quality foodstuffs, divided into sections. Bakery, Meat, Produce, Dairy, and rows of dry goods featuring bedding sets, clothing, cookware, and knick knacks. There are several regional gourmet areas, such as Italian and Kosher. Each section also offers a Lidl brand of groceries; soups, sauces, dressings, and so on. But the best part of shopping at Lidl is the prices. Name brands are commensurate with Grocery Outlet, with a higher level of quality. Some of the sale prices I noticed were Chicken Stock for $1.77, Coffee Pods for $4.77, Creamer for $2.69. I purchased 6 large bags of nice groceries for $83.64; including meats, produce, and accompaniments. Interestingly, the Manager asked me to not take photos inside the store! Be prepared to pay for bags, paper or high quality totes, and to bag your own groceries. You've gotta move fast. But as I said, the store is designed on the European style which does cater to bratty Americans. (LOL). When Aldi's bought Bottom Dollar I was really upset. Lidl has filled the gap, but better. I give it a 9.5/10. This will be my new grocery store of choice.

One of the best shopping spot in the area. Very clean , refreshing look , carts are all maintained well(agree the store is daily new), product selections are great picks , friendly staffs, prices are very cheap or competitive. Quality is not compromised though for the price paid. Very spacious store with limited and essential supplies. All grocery section or departments are organized well. Easy to shop here since not lot of options in a single product category and selection is quality one. Did not tried the bakery section but the price and products looks fresh. Will recommend this store to all.

Nice location. Very well stocked, decent prices on most but not all things. Small international section, wish that was a bit bigger.For those never been to one, This is a bring your own bags. You can pay for paper bags though or a reusable one.

It's like Aldi on Steroids! Lots of private and national brands! They also have freshly made bread /bakery, public family style restrooms and their app has loyalty bonuses! After I checked out, I also received a $10 off $30 coupon good in a few days! We can't wait to go back! You do need to bring your own (or purchase) your own bags. The carts do not require a quarter, and you have access to sanitize it and you can grab gloves for even more safety.

One of my favorite stores. But the last time I got very disappointed. I came with my baby for the fresh pretzel and when I arrived at the store there were only a couple left and they were hard as a rock. So I asked the lady in the baking area if she is going to make some fresh ones (it was also buy 2 get 1 for free) and she said yes in 30 min it should be done. So we walked around and took our time. She was busy baking a lot of stuff. Then I asked her again (after 40 min) and she said she won’t bake any new ones as long there are some in the shelf (so again there were old and I couldn’t feed them to my kid. We waited for nothing! )

I met one of the owners of the Exton location at a craft show. Very nice and welcoming and asked if I had ever been to their store. I live about a half an hour away from Exton and don’t visit often. Today I had to take my eldest to get her braces fixed and decided to try it out since we were close. Was pleasantly surprised with the selection and pricing. Now I can say I know some of their prices are comparable to the grocery store I normally go to but for about 70% of the stock, this place was a lot cheaper almost by half! Fruits and veggies looked very fresh and the meat selection was pretty decent. Will definitely consider making the trip next grocery run.

It's good compared to Aldis, price wise I would say okay. Only thing is there spring mix and field greens are not rotated well, all see stuff that's always 1 day before there out of date. So the quality is not good.

Great place to shop with a whole range of groceries and a really great bakery. The staff is always friendly and helpful and it seems lidle takes over from Aldi and Aldi stays back in the dust.

Selection on certain items is poor. Few open checkout lines. Self checkout was removed in most stores. Employees are helpful. Stores are clean. No diet ginger ale or kaiser rolls available. Eggs used to be 50 cents a dozen.

Great clean shopping experience. Definitely a bit more options it feels than aldi cause it has a little bakery. They have kids shopping carts which when you have little ones is a game changer. Highly recommend for reasonable prices.

I was very impressed with the range of products available as well as the quality. They even have grass fed organic beef options here!!! The store is also nicely lit, clean and looks inviting . My MIL bought a bag of organic navel orange today and they were so juicy and sweet! I had to go back out and bought five more bags to share with my mom and sister. I also really like the small dinner roll from here. Overall I am so glad I live close to this bargain store!

Went yesterday for 100 dollar gift card promo. Register worker could not get card to scan and he called the manager. Took around 20 minutes to come. His comment was oh well it doesn’t work. He said the salesman probably recalled them and walked away. He didn’t take any of the cards down from the display. Didn’t offer to help. Didn’t offer any other cards. The line was at least 15 customers waiting. I found him rude and uncaring. Tried to fill out the online complaint form but could not get the stores address to pop up.

We love going to Lidl. The mini carts are our toddlers favorite part. She loves loading it up with fruits and veggies and pushing the cart around. I like the different selections of things the store carries and their set up is so easy to find whatever it is you're looking for. Very clean each time we visit and happy, positive staff members.

What's not to like about Lidl? Inexpensive prices fresh produce, variety of frozen goods, good bakery section, fully stock shells, clean establishment and not to mention all their seasonal and miscellaneous items like pool items, garden, clothing and kitchenware just to name a very few because they have a lot.

Today was the second time I caught them not honoring the prices listed on the paper add. The first time it happened, I figured it was a computer glitch. But it happened again today. Who knows how much money they stole from me before I realized what kind of business they run. Make sure you check your receipt!! When I ask them to remove the ads from the wall because they are deceiving, and many people will get the items and not to check the receipts, I was told by the cashier that they’ll do it when they get around to it.

Rip off pricing which your supposed to bring or buy your own bags. Some tried to tell me it's like Aldis but this place has the same prices as Giant or Acme with the same quality you get at dollars stores.

Been shopping the Exton location since they opened and never had any issues. Until today when the manager Eugene decided to treat customers like garbage. I watched him belittle an elderly couple that was in line before me. Than had him treat me the same way. I found him to be very unprofessional and I did not appreciate it. Most definitely my last shopping experience with you as a whole.

So far we are 0 for 2 on quality meats. Opened up a rack of ribs and a pound of chop meat. Both were rancid. Prices are good, but if you cannot rely on the quality of the meat, it is self defeating

Lidl is an awesome discount grocer. This particular store is kept clean, stocked, and ready with sale items. If you want the best deals go in early Wednesday mornings for new items week to week. The staff at this location are helpful, kind, and available. Always hiring. The baked goods are so good. Definitely recommend.

Great selection, good prices, Lots of organics friendly people and excellent quality. Large Selection for a smaller foot print store. We'll worth a visit, excellent bakery selection as well other items like truffle oil that are hard to find and not stupidly expensive
