Had road side service done on a trailer tire. They showed up in a timely manner. Replaced the tire and got me on the road again. The following week I went to the shop and had the other replaced. Was in and out in a very timely manner. Top of the line service. Will return for other tire services.

Been going here for a few years and prices were reasonable. Then got 2 new tires mount and balanced and they charged me $93 with disposal of the 2 old ones include ($4 each). I just got my wife's car all 4 tires mount and balanced at the dealership for $106 total. Never going back to Skander. They charge you by the size of the tire now.... scam

My friends and family have been going to Skander for a long time. Mainly for automotive tires but partly agricultural tires as well. We have never had a bad thing to say until recently. It seems like the quality has gone way down. I recently took refinished wheels to Skander with tires I had bought off Tire Rack. Normally, when I had brought tires in previously, it was 12 dollars to get them mounted, per tire. Front desk had asked me if my tires have been on the wheels before and if they were new. I answered, no, they have not been on the wheels before because they are new tires. Once the bay was ready for me to pull in, I brought my car around and we started unloading my wheels and tires. Once everything was out of the car, one of the employees informed me that since I did not purchase the tires at Skander, it was going to be 35 dollars per tire rather than the usual 12 per tire. It would've been much better to have been told this up front at the desk, rather than once everything was already out of the car.At that point, I said sure, go ahead with mounting the tires. Not knowing the true price was annoying but I will chalk that off as something I was just not aware of. No big deal, it happens.The part where things get ugly is when they hand the newly refinished wheels back to me after mounting the tires. all four wheels are completely covered in dirt and grime. The usual tire mounting lubrication was on as well, but that is something that will happen anywhere. It is completely unacceptable to take completely clean, new wheels from someone, and pass them back to the customer covered in dirt and grime on every inch. Not to mention, there was paint damage on 3 / 4 wheels. Once I spotted the damage, I immediately took pictures and called back. Alex, the manager, was friendly on the phone and was helpful in trying to get things sorted out, I do not want to discredit him there.Once he reviewed the photos and his security camera footage (of which I never saw), he claimed that everything on their end looked fine and that they had not done anything out of the ordinary to damage the wheels. Attached are the photos of the wheels with the damage and the grime that they left on them. Alex said that they believe the tire bead had rubbed on the wheel while mounting and took off the paint because of a possibility of the paint not being fully cured. Because of this, they will not be covering any damages.4 layers of 2 part clear coat that has sat in a heated warehouse for a full week is certainly cured. You can very clearly see drag marks that dig into the clear coat and down to the bare metal of the wheel. That doesn't "just happen" while mounting a wheel with a bad clear coat. That is mishandling by the techs, with a poor coverup by management.My family members who were all long time customers of Skander are all very disappointed in how they handled this and we have decided to find a new tire shop elsewhere, with better customer support.

I showed up with no appointment & was taken into the shop almost right away (within 15 minutes). I brought my own tires to be installed & had some special instructions. These guys took very good care of my wheels & followed the instructions perfectly! Balanced the new tires & no scratches on my wheels either. Great job & a very satisfied customer here. Thank you!

This place has the best shop kitty ever named Ozzie!!! They're also a really great quality tire shop in Evan's City; servicing all types of vehicles from farm tractors to semi tractors and everything in between. I visited here as a walk in to have some tires put on my little car that I bought off of Facebook and was seen right away on a Monday Morning. The staff and mechanics are friendly, professional, and offer you the best advice they can. I heard them making and taking phone calls all morning and they really try to help people in every way they can. It's rare to find a tire shop that shows care the way that this one does.

The workmanship they did for my little task was excellent. However, when I got my original quote, it was one price, then the next thing you know there was a $50 prep fee per tirethat they told me once I was 5 miles down the road. Then they tried to say that the earlier price was for something else. The tires were only 12 inch tires. I'm disappointed that wouldn't even try to work something out with me. $160 to foam fill 2 s mm all tires is wrong.

My family has been going to Skander for years. I remember being little with my grandpa getting tires with him for his work vehicles and toter. Always great service and today was another great service experience. 5pm on a Thursday I go rushing in for 2 tires for my daughter as she blew 2 of them so conveniently. Skander usually has what I need in stock. I pulled in at 5:03pm and was back on the road at 5:16pm heading to put them back on her car. 👍Back again on 10-24-2022 for another set but on my new Lariat.

Our entire family has bought all of our tires exclusively at Skanders for the past 25 years. That is until now. Yesterday my daughter went to skander to get a tire repaired, they fixed the tire and sent her on her way. Going down the highway her car started shaking. She called her dad who told her return to Skanders and have them check the lugnuts. Upon her return they had the mechanic check her car. He than told her that she needed new rotors and the shaking had nothing to do with the tire. Said she could make an appt and he would put new brakes and rotors on for her. She just had new rotors and brakes done in July. She than went to our family mechanic and guess what. Lug nuts were all lose he tightened the lugnuts and everything is fine. Just Another mechanic trying to take advantage of a women. This used to be such an honest company but they have just lost my trust. Will go elsewhere for my tire from now on.

Ill never go there again. I usually buy tires offline and take them there and get them put on. I have a truck with 33s and they usually only charge me $20 per tire install. But i just took my girls car in to get tires put on that i bought online which are way smaller and should be cheaper to get installed and they charged me $40 per tire. She said because they are new tires. That doesn’t even make sense. And when i said that. She simply told me that i bought them from someone else and they make money off selling tires so they charged me a fortune for not buying their tires. Un real. If you want me to buy your tires then get a bigger and better selection. All they sell are coopers and they basically charge you the maximum for not buying their tires. Ill never go back

These guys fixed my flat and got it all fixed up and back together for me. They were really fast and affordable as well. They were also really sweet to my dog and allowed him to chill in the truck while they worked on it. They gave him all kinds of love and a cookie. These people go above and beyond to help their customers out. Can't find better customer service and friendlier employees. Hard to find this day in age!! Thanks Slander

Very upset. We have probably have spent over $2,000 there the past couple years for tires for atvs, my antique trans am, Honda Civic and other rotations. My wife took our beater 2009 civic car there this morning with tires from our storage garage and wouldn’t put them on the back of our Honda ??? What? they have plenty of tread! Wanted us to buy new ones I guess. Sucks for a place so efficient and friendly that I’ve gone to for so many years. If businesses is slow, don’t take it out on repeat customers that will find somewhere else to go.

*Updated*Was 5-star, but...Dropped off wheels for one of my commercial mowers just after 8am so they could mount 2 mower tires once the tires arrived (just tried to be proactive, as I needed the mower for today's schedule). Got a call that the tires were in just after 10am. I told him the wheels were already there, then he say, "oh, I just read that in the notes."I waited over an hour before I went to pick up my wheels. They were not mounted. Waited another 40 minutes for them to be mounted. Left with my items at 12:50. Not even an apology for my wasted time. What changed...?

Do not take your atv tires here! Took tires to be mounted onto rim (already removed from sxs) was quoted one hour of work and charged for over 3.5. They ended up breaking off a bolt and after paying for 3 hours of work due to them breaking the bolt, they gave us back a tire that did not seal and will have to fix ourselves. Do not waste your time here

Traveling to Erie I had tire trouble. An hour and half away from home with kids in my car. Days prior I had tires put on that were not only the wrong size but recalled and damaged. This place too me in quickly fixed the problem and even gave me a discount because I’m traveling and didn’t have a lot of money. Even put air in my spare tire since I was traveling. Thanks guys! I might travel a hour and half just to do business with u guys every time. Thanks for looking out for my kids and my wallet!! Everyone should go there!!

Great tires and great prices. Their service is fantastic, they're usually able to fix minor repairs on the spot very inexpensively . But what really sets them apart is that you feel like they are always telling you the truth, and always working in your best interest. It is the only tire store that my wife has ever felt comfortable in.Keep up the great work, Skander People!

Fair prices, friendly and fast. They only do tires which can be inconvenient at times (can't get an oil change or state inspection for instance) but they excel in what they do offer. Need tires? Skander is a good choice. They don't schedule, but do first come first serve so ymmv.
