I stopped shopping at the big box stores since I found out Ace stores are independently owned. Prices are competetive and they are good people that are super friendly and eager to help.

So much more than a hardware store! It seems to have all the great hardware inventory you'd expect at a top-rated Ace Hardware store, plus it is a very community oriented shop as they have a fine grocery store with essential staples, dairy, fresh foods, condiments & the various odds and ends so that locals need not travel far to get what they need. It is terrific as the folks who live in town can easily satisfy their needs in easy walking distance.

Employees are pleasant and helpful. Their grocery section is surprisingly well stocked. Maybe this is to get back at Giant Eagle for installing a hardware department.

It is amazing how much inventory they have in that space. Staff is immediately aware of arrival and welcome you. If you are browsing you are not monitored. If you are looking for something specific, they are most helpful. Old time hardware store feel in a clean, efficient, and well lit shopping environment.

I never went into the grocery store part so I can't comment on that but I hope that they are around for a long time to come. I missed the old aces hardware store that used to b in between dairy queen and Rowan rd... Wish u the best of luck n hopefully you will b around for a long time!

The most diversely stocked hardware store in the area from groceries to lumber. Priced reasonably. And the employees are willing to assist you. UNLIKE Home Depot or Lowe’s where it takes upwards of a half hour just to chase an employee that knows anything down.

This is such a cute little store. We stopped on our way home. What pulled us in was the cute little pig outside the store that had fake chicken in it like it was smoking the chicken. I had to find a picture because its so cute! The big green egg smokers caught my attention too. Anything you can imagine for back yard bbq is right in one spot. We checked out the grocery section and they had all the staples we need for life and then some‼️ We will deff stop back when we are that way. Great idea for the grocery section. I hope we get one here in kittanning pa.

We just ordered a Traeger grill from Ace Hardware in Evans City. The owner himself, Jerry Oliver, came and set the grill up with his son. They went over how the grill operates and brought us two seasoned chicken breast for the first "smoke" meal on the smoker/ grill. Exceptional customer service, I cannot praise them enough thank you Jerry!

Okay. Despite reading the reviews, it was a little disappointing. However, I can see where some would appreciate it more. I'm shocked by how much stuff they fit in that small space. And they carry practically everything, except black pipe. I like it more each time I go in.

When Ace came into town, they went into what was our towns grocery store, knowing this was a problem for our community they added a little grocery store.Now when you go there to get a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk, you can pick up a 1/2 drive socket set and a new wax ring for your toilet

These guys are super helpful, and will go out of their way to get you what you need. I'm installing a whole house water filtration system, and the company I bought it from neglected to include a hose bib assembly needed for adding water to two of the tanks so the carbon filters can pre-soak. I went to Home Depot and they were useless. Tried Ace Hardware in Evans City and they fashioned an alternative using various PVC and copper adapters that worked PERFECTLY!!! Didn't catch your names (one was a store manager), but you came through bigtime. Thank you!!!!

Ordered items that said available same day. After a few hours stopped in to see if they were ready to go. The items wouldn't be delivered to the store for a few days and the employees had no record of the order.This coupled with a snarky remark from an employee resulted in us canceling the order and buying from home depot. We will never be back and recommend that you do the same.
