On my recent visit to order a custom cookie cake, I was informed that this type of order had to be placed online now. In the past, cake orders were taken with paper forms in the bakery department. After downloading the app, Emily and several others in the Meals 2GO department assisted me through the entire process. Everyone was very friendly and helpful to ensure the order was correct. As shopping becomes more automated, it's still important to provide excellent customer service inside stores. Wegmans on Peach Street has always met or exceeded my expectations.

Wegmans has the best bakery! Friendly staff and they still only charge $13 for a dozen donuts! They have not taken advantage of inflation and continue to make our city a better place. Thank you Wegmans!

This place is MAGICAL!! It is honestly the future (at least I hope) of the grocery store. They have EVERYTHING!! All at surprisingly excellent prices! The selection provided is huge of nearly every kind of item you would need. In particular, they're wine and beer section is a store unto itself! They also have an amazing pet section and produce section. The store workers are outstanding! They are helpful, polite and very knowledgeable about the products in they're section! I was so happy with how clean the store was, its miraculous considering the store is several years old! It was spotless and the floors shined! Tou could see your reflection! I highly recommend shopping here for all your grocery needs!

First time at Wegmans as we are from Ohio. It is a Whole Foods feel with selection and better prices. Also reminded us of old Anderson's chain from Toledo Ohio. When we are in town next we will definitely come back.

This store has everything, and I do mean everything. I love shopping here every time I'm in Erie. It's clean and the aisles are wide and the variety of products are amazing. They have great sales and their prices are very competitive.

Looking for a specific holiday cookie. Couldn't find, lady in bakery tried helping me and a young man from the backroom asked what we were looking for. He knew of them. Went to the back and brought me out 3 boxes. Said 3 cases in the back and weren't out. Who ever fills couldn't find their home. He found it was filled with another cookie. Both were so friendly and helpful

The prices are at times unpredictable. Some items are very reasonable, but others are very high. The store is extremely well cared for, but a bit overwhelming due to all the "extra" stuff. I prefer grocery stores to focus on groceries, rather than housewares and gift items.

Cheapest prices I’ve seen for so many things, cheaper even than Walmart, yet it seemingly has better quality items! The flowers are the best I’ve seen and they have a large variety of pre-made foods. Highly recommend this grocery store.

Wegmans is the best! It’s our local Whole Foods :) (we have WF as well but in Erie Wegmans is much better). It has a huge selection of special foods, vegan/gluten free etc, great veggies, fruits and herbs that are so so fresh and the prices are fair. Some things are even cheaper than in Walmart.

I love this grocery store!! I drive all the way from Ashtabula to get Cooper Sharp cheese and spend a bundle. Things I can never find at home....I find here! Stocking up. Plus there pre made meals are delicious!

Love Wegmans!!! They have the best produce in town!!! Great bulk foods! Lots of specialty foods!! Great selection of pre-made salads. Awesome beer and wine selection! Subs are fantastic and you can order custom sub and sandwich trays!! Including Peanutbutter and Jelly for the kids!!

a wegmans. I liked this one- it wasn’t one of the crazy, big ones that are sort of disorienting and packed no matter the time you go.Not used to seeing self checkout close at a certain time so that was weird. Only one register open but again, it was slow enough to be ok. Staff was polite.

I’m not local to this store, so this is a place I never shop at. I haven’t been at this location in ages so I wanted to stop while I was in the area and get thankful produce. The prices here remind me of pricing you’d find at Whole Foods, so it’s not inexpensive. I shopped sparingly since the pricing was more than what I’m used to at Aldi or other local grocers. They had a wide variety of premade items, valeting items, and all other goods. I found it easy to find things I wanted to try out that I don’t normally see. We spent an hour in the store and didn’t even make it through the whole store. It was clean and the store had a friendly environment. I did buy a few things that were overpriced for what I’d usually pay, but I wanted to let my children pick out things they would eat and that were healthy.I would definitely come back. I think my favorite part of the experience was the pregnant moms/parent of young children parking spots. I had my 3 week old with me and the weather is still cold so the time he spent in the cold weather was minimal thanks to this!

Weirdly really puritanical values re: alcohol. Claimed it's a PA state law that they couldn't sell alcohol/wine after 9 pm. My father worked in the state capital building and under the PA attorney General for 25 yrs (till this yr actually) and has never heard of this "law". Also I've bought wine from other wegmans in PA at 10pm to 11pm, never had an issue. One worker told my fiancé to "go to a bar" when he asked for a certain brand of wine past 9PM. Really really weird. Idk if it's a county law or what, def not state law and doesn't warrant being so rude. If you're against selling alcohol: Don't sell alcohol, full stop.

Wegmans is just going downhill with check out yourself and consistently long lines because of inadequate staffing, or poor management. This is a consistent problem that doesn’t seem to get any better. You’d expect more from a place like Wegmans, guess we were wrong. If this continues there’s no reason to pick Wegmans over other grocery storesUpdate September 13, 2022:The new Wegmans continues to be a problem with long lines and lack of employees; depending more on self check out. It appears at Wegmans has no fix coming

Sunday 11/26, I ordered a two layer round chocolate cake w/chocolate buttercream frosting, yellow sprinkles, two yellow frosting roses and the words "Steelers win!". Next day picked it up but didn't examine the cake. My mistake. But when I got home I noticed first off that the writing was difficult to read and done sloppily and there were no sprinkles. It did say sprinkles on the order ticket printed out and stuck on the box. The biggest issue is the taste of the chocolate buttercream frosting. It was TERRIBLE! And I love all things chocolate. Well I thought I did. Anyway it tasted like a cheap knockoff of the frosting you can buy in cans off the shelf. But really terrible. I scraped most of it off and can tolerate it only because of how much I paid for it. It's like throwing the $27 or $28 I paid right in the trash. Nobody else will eat it. The icing used for the roses was great so I smeared that on the places I scraped off the chocolate. Eeww. Terrible. Maybe a vanilla buttercream would be ok, but never again chocolate. YUCK

Such a great store! It is very clean and every aisle is perfectly displayed. Carts are clean and disinfectants are mounted near entrances. Employees walk around with walkie talkies making sure everything is good for the customer. Plus, their shopping bags are highly wanted by family members when I bring items home.

Talk about throwback! I am so used to my usual Wegmans, which is bigger. However, it's still a great Wegmans. The hot bar is very small (just basically soup) but the layout is nice!

This place is legit. One of the best overall grocery stores I've ever been to. In was nice in college back in the day, but now it's at a whole other level.
