The manager Steve is wonderful. The mean guy got fired like 2 yrs ago so experience is so much better and it's so awesome here. Richard is amazing too! They both care and been there for YEARS! the customer service from them 2 alone is outstanding!

The store in general as a whole I would give 5 stars. The store was VERY CLEAN and nice and bright just a inviting feeling walking through the doors. Now the reason I only gave 3/5 stars is because the prices I think their expensive I only got a few items and I spent just over $50 idk too me I think that's wayy too expensive well for my budget. I do believe that you can get the same items elsewhere and for CHEAPER.!!

watch this store very close they are very unhonest and will overcharge you it has happened at Tops so much it has to be intentional because it can not be a mistake storewide issue rught down to the pharmacy WOW REALLY unethical is all the comes to mind

I live on the other end of town and don't shop here very often, but when I do I have been satisfied. They recently remodeled, and it's nice in there. The staff is usually pretty helpful as well.

Cashiers will hangout behind the registers then tell you “sorry I’m closed” if the lane is closed there shouldn’t be a cashier and a grocery bagging associate at that register.

This is my go-to for groceries. Especially now that they are remodeling it. The cases for food are super nice and hold more of a variety. Everything is fresh and smells great. I love that they carry prepackaged panera Mac and cheese!! Can't go wrong.

The closest grocery store to my house, sometimes I walk here to get some snacks or I drive here whenever I need to get groceries, they’ve recently remodeled the store and it looks like a whole different store compared to how it used to be, the staff here is also very kind and the stores is very clean and smells nice!

The store is laid out nicely, and is kept very clean, shelves stocked and organized. Their produce department is fabulous, and their ad pricing is right in line with the other chains in the area. The self checkout area is extremely convenient and if you need assistance they promptly help you.

I absolutely LOVE the pharmacy staff. Especially Jenn the pharmacist who always goes the extra mile to ensure my children and I get the medication we need at the best price. She has served my family for over 4 years. Her compassion when I was without insurance for a time was humbling. She really is an amazing person. Every single person in the pharmacy is sweet and kind. Everyone knows me by name, they make me feel welcome and show that they care about myself and my children. I've never had a problem. Only good things to say about everyone. They set the bar for how a pharmacy staff or anyone in the health field should treat their patients. I can't thank them enough for all they have done over the years. Thank You!

They have the best produce. Great selection of breads and they keep their shelves stocked very well. The sales are great, but 2 get three free! Meal deal, you buy part of a meal and they give you all the other parts for free! The bonus points are better than giant eagle. And everyone is helpful and friendly. Love it!

I placed a large order for a breakfast pick up. Everything was ready right on time, hot and fresh. Doughnuts were freshly prepared, bagel tray refrigerated and wonderfully arranged, and I even watched the woman in the carry out Deli multi-task and prepare my breakfast pizzas and rotisserie chickens. I watched her remove her gloves and wash her hands after handling the raw chicken before going back to my pizzas. Wonderfully kind and professional. Great experience!

My 1St first time shopping at this location. I must say the layout is absolutely nuts if you shop anywhere else. But the staff are friendly and very quick check out even on Sundays. If you've never shopped there before make sure you have their Rewards Card which you can pick up at the service desk without it you will pay sticker price for everything. Their baked goods and breads are fantastic.

Regular pricing not comparable to other chains in the area however special sale items are good. Best known for buy 3 get 3 free or 10 items for $10. Gas discount onlyoffered on rotating months and gas station is not on site. Gas station 5 miles away at other Tops location. Store layout is not ideal for quick and easy shopping.

They tote real butchers but the selection is really mediocre. Last time I was there they literally had zero ground beef available and no one staffed in the meat section to address this. This used to be our go to grocery but we drive an additional 12 minutes to a competitor due to better selection and much much nicer deli staff.

A clean, well-organized store. Regular prices are pretty high. Half of the items in the store are usually on sale though.... Some good sales, some 5c off sales. Rewards are lousy as there no no gas pumps here and you only earn rewards for a short period then you must wait. You need to go to the other side if town for their gas.

My favorite store its not too big but has alot of freshly baked goods, take out food like pizza and chicken and great selection of fruits and vegetables. There meat selection is very nice. They also have pharmacy. The workers are the best very friendly and helpful. They are handicapped accessible and also have motorized wheelchairs.

Store is always clean. Can easily find whatever you're looking for. Prices arent really bad. Has amazing sale prices. Friendly service always. They've gone out of their way to help. I've seen them help a homeless person. Bought him food, hygenic products, and even given him a ride to a friends house, 30 minutes away. Staff is amazing there, and is a great shopping enviroment.

It seems that the deli counter doesn't want to wait on customers who want cold cuts fresh cut. We were given attitude and mutterings under their breath about how dare we not take the thick cut product presliced. No thank you or smile and they talked about us after we walked away. Train your staff!!!

They deliver now! I love going there , but I cannot lift heavy things, so I have them brought to me. Heavy cases of water, cat litter, cat food, and cat food, PLUS all my groceries! If they are out of something, they text you and ask if they can substitute something. Amazing!

This Tops is sizable and carries everything you would need in a grocery store. It is also clean and very organized with decent staff. The prices tend to run a bit higher than Giant Eagle and Wegmans. Great location though. Those of us who live on the east side have it as an option to price shop since stores are more limited here.

Tops Deli, ordered a regular and large sub 'create your own sub', got two extra jumbo subs instead. I was not asked for an order list of toppings like any other sandwich artist would have. I also asked for wheat bread, I was given white. Even a new server could've done a better job with ease. I was not spoken to in a professional tone or given the slightest act of being courteous, and was greeted with snotty remarks when asked for normal ingredients like green and banana peppers. Finally, both subs were suppose to equal out to around $14, as I have ordered subs like these from other Tops locations, these subs came to $27....for what?! Both subs were charged at $12.99, instead if $7.99 and $5.99. The $12.99 was never even listed for an option. Next time you serve a customer, get their list, don't just make what you want to make for the customer. Hopefully this helps future customers' experience with ordering subs.

Fantastic foods of varying types and cuisines.Always friendly staff. It is a shame that they havetocidersoearly. itwasnicewhenthestorewereopen 24 7. The night shift and I would have a great time. I am only in Erie a few times a year, but there are things that you cannot get elsewhere in the country like Smith's bologna, hot dogs, ham, HeluvaGood dip to name a few. Fear everything I can and lackPack them extremely well insulated and right in the freezer at home so I can enjoy those foods.

I usually stroll into Tops after my shift at work before they close. Tops usually has some good deals and even with a skeleton crew in there last hour of being open I am always treated very well. They have friendly and helpful employees. I recommend the East 38th St location in Erie, PA.
