Got a moldy chocolate cake here and my pregnant wife consumed before noticing the mold. It was expired 12 days before we purchased it. Women at the counter had a bad attitude. Also there JJs pies were all old and smashed.

They have some of their frozen items in a long freezer on the floor that has no top. Some of the frozen items in that freezer were not fully frozen.

Easy to locate everything in store. Nice Bold Labels for people with poor vision which is an act of kindness. Pretty solid prices. Nice location next to multiple restaurants if you hungry after you shop 😂 save a lot and than have Moe's :)

Great place to shop and save money on groceries and the meat isn't too bad too get neither. They have specials on some of it. Get canned food for cheap I spend 59 cents to 89 cents on canned goods. But of course u also gotta be a smart shopper. Also since they are short on staff sometimes they only have one person on check out so u have to have patience. when cj

It's a warehouse store. Things are displayed in the boxes they came in. So if you are looking for a beautiful ambiance, this is not the place. If you are looking for discounts and bulk purchases on items, then this is for you. Bring your own bags or be prepared to buy some or carry your groceries out in boxes. It's an older store, so it's not all shining and bright, but I usually see associates cleaning when I'm there so it's not dirty, just worn.

This is the place to shop when you want to save some money. The deals are great as long as you do not expect a lot of brand names. There are special deals on meat and other products which you should take advantage of. It is a smaller store but the staff is friendly. There is ample parking because the store is located in a strip mall with other favorites like Big lots and a Dollar store.

This is a very clean and well organized and stocked store. Wide variety of products, fresh produce, great prices. I shop here often, great values and deals. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Bargain shopping without sacrificing quality.

They used to have good deals but the last year or so it seems to have gone downhill. Maybe it is because of covid and inflation. I don't know, but I usually find better prices if I shop around especially at Giant Eagle and Walmart.

I love the store when I cant get into Aldi because it's so packed,. Today was a newer experience for me.. lots of people everywhere. Rules are for social distancing, hard when it's already packed and compacted. One ie I could barely get my own cart through as merchandise was waiting to be put away. So the distance thing isn't going so well, but the prices are so easy on my wallet, french fries and tots not so cheap. Some items are pricey if compared. Overall tons of food for 118$ that's ok with me.

Will save a lot really does save you a lot of money but some of the products which are knock offs of the main brands you might not realize are very good until you get them home. I suggest trying the produce because it’s usually always on all local but avoid the meats and cheeses I’ve not had much success with those. I bought some Tyson chicken and then suffered a recall within a few weeks of my purchase. Just saying

I have to give this store it's due- it may not have the recognition of the larger more well known stores but it certainly remained the most human during all the Covid restrictions, Nobody here has yelled at anybody for minor infractions or overstepped themselves to employ military style discipline, I feel compelled to state that I have began coming here a lot more often as it is one of the few stores I still feel comfortable going to. Thanks Save-A-Lot, for retaining such a friendly atmosphere in your store while the rest of the world goes crazy!

Store associates seemed prepared to handle customers with someone greeting us at the entrance to the store, explaining the new expectations and requirements due to Covid-19. We were all given disposable store shopping bags to carry while shopping and offered a sample of the many different scented hand sanitizers they offered in the store.

The store is very clean it is usually stocked very well, but the freezers are not that cold at all. The best time to shop here is early morning.

I have not been here before. I usually go to Walmart. But since I didn't have a lot of money I chose to try Save A Lot. Everything looked appealing and store was clean. But at checkout, things changed. The cashier looked like he hated his job and he did say anything to me. But I heard him complaining about work to another employee while checking out my groceries. That was a bit irritating.Then when I got home I compared my receipt to previous Walmart receipts and realized I spent more and got less! Which was frustrating since I went to Save A Lot to SAVE money. And now, only two days later, my grapes are already going bad and I opened my bread for first time which is dated for August 5th and it is stale and can't eat it. It's the same brand of Italian bread I always buy that is usually fresh and delicious, but not this time. I am concerned about the rest of my groceries freshness and taste now.All in all, NOT a good shopping experience and I will NOT be back. And for anyone else thinking if giving them a try, I would not waste your time. Prices are better and shopping experience is better at WALMART.-Julie Zielinski-

Great place to "Save a Lot" of money! I get groceries here when money's tight. They don't have organic food, but their prices are so low. If we need to host a party without spending too much, I also shop here.

The veggies are always old looking and rotten, I don't like getting any fruits or veg's because they don't check to see if their old and no one cares how their suppose to keep everything fresh for the customers, it's always messy and not stacked neatly also their always out of salad or mustard greens when they should restock everything it's poorly mis handle of management , some of the employees attitude needs a adjustment and bags are everywhere in the store , dirty floors , Aldi's always keep their store neat and customers are happy 😊.

If I could give the store at west Erie plaza -5 stars I would. One manager and one employee We're extremely disrespectful. I saw them totally humiliate a customer today in front of everyone.

Isn't this the store chain that started the 5 for $20 deal on meat? It was a good deal then, but it actually inspired other grocery stores to do the same. Which has been huge lately.

I shop here 2 times a month. I like it because its never crowded really good fresh meat selection. Awesome prices and good staff. Never have to spend more than 20 mins here.
