Our dog and cat have health problems. A vet at Glenwood Pet Hospital told us to talk to the people at Nickel plate mill about pet food needed for there health problems. The people at Nickel Plate know are very knowledgeable and they gave us some advice on what pet food to get. Our dog has been on the pet food they recommended for over a year and their health problems have just about all cleared up. Our cat has only been on the food for about 1 month and is doing much better. Very knowledgeable people, very kind and they know their product line very well!!! I would highly recommend. If I could give them higher than five stars I would. Great selection, Great place.

I can never say enough about this place and how blessed Erie is to have this business.Owners have a plethora of knowledge, and the store is filled with all the great dog and cat food brands you would have to send for . Nit only kibble and cans if highest quality, some frozen and fresh frozen and fresh u couldn't otherwise obtain.Great selection of dog toys and bowls , collars.Gardening and bird food.One of the best small businesses in Erie pa!

Great stainless tag with deeply engraved letters. Wonderful store run by wonderful people who clearly care about the goods they sell and they treat their customers right !! Everything to sound advice to helping you carry your stuff to your car.If they don't sell a type of dog or cat food, it's probably because it's not worth buying! They stay on top of recalls and industry news and always seem to know which processing plants change ownership or vendors. They're really on top of it! No gimmicks or whacky stuff, just honest products!I have a special needs dog who is allergic to most foods and they helped me pick the best food for her needs. She's been so healthy and happy since!They sell only the best pet foods, bird feed, and garden plants and flowers!

I have purchased Nickel Plate Mills Inc for all of our dogs, over 8 years. They last forever and hold up great! I like how they are easy to read, and the bright colors are fun. If they get a hot pink, I'll buy new tags for that color, lol!

This locally owned store offers items I haven’t found at other pet stores. They are knowledgeable and helpful. Plus at least one cat lives there and came to help me shop! Give that kitty a raise! :)

So Rude! The cashier (and possibly manager/owner) was so rude not only to me, but to the man in front of me. Rolling her eyes because he didn't know how many beans were in a half pound, then ignoring him as he talked to her. Then she continued to be rude to me as well because they didn't have any prices marked on their herbs so heaven forbid I ask how much they were! I will NOT be going back here ever again, and I will definitely pass along to people I know not to go there as well.

I usually shop at Pet Supplies plus but they don't carry the Victor brand. And I got a great price for a 40lb bag. I saved money, got a bigger bag than i usually do for a better price. You can't beat that. I'm going back.

Went to get dog biscuits have gotten them there before but it's been awhile they wanted $105 for 15 lb of dog biscuits way out of my price range the way you my two Boheme Miss eat cookies they do have other things if you're interested take a look

Was enthusiastically told that dogs would LOVE the freeze dried duck's head, I balked at it, they confirmed. Neither dog touched it, I feel like I was the end of a cruel bet. Five stars for the past, but not now, sorry.
