Both Maxine and I missed Mud Puppies when we were living in Florida. While I was away, I found myself comparing places to Mud Puppies and never did find a place that was as nice and offered all the items and services as Mud Puppies. Very few self-service dog washing places there at all and none that had full service professional groomers, plus classes, plus good food and treats that have been carefully reviewed and chosen by such a caring, knowledgeable, and helpful person like Kimberly. You can trust that all the goodies for your dog are actually healthy for your dog if bought at Mud Puppies. Had Maxine groomed professionally by Sarah on 1/11 and Sarah did a beautiful job on her. The staff at Mud Puppies is as friendly and helpful as I remember, too. So glad I live near Mud Puppies again!(Maxine looks a little tired here--I woke her up from napping to take this picture. Bad Mom!)

I am amazed at this place. The employees were so informing and helpful! I plan to go here more often! My dog is so happy and content after his bath and nail cut! Additionally he loves their premium dog food!

Highly recommend this place. We were looking for a groomer last minute and they were so accommodating.For a very reasonable price (approx $16) we bathed our dog, dried her and didn’t have to deal with all the clean up. All supplies included! What a bargain!

My first time at Mud Puppies , The owner Kim spent time with me guiding and training me how tobathe and dry my dog Benson. I had been struggling to bathe my dog at home in a bath tub. I have a touchy back , the washing tubs at Mud Puppies are elevated , easy on the back . Overall it was a great experience for me and Benson. You get to wash and dry your dog and walk awayfrom the mess, what could be easier. Benson and I will return !

We had a really good experience here. We showed up a bit early to wash our two small dogs but they let us come in. They include a nail clip with the self wash which was exactly what we needed. The wash tubs are unique and so easy to use. Everything is provided.

Unprofessional. Unreliable. Inconsistent.My most recent experience with mudpuppies was extremely displeasing and very unprofessional. I had made an apt for my dog in October, for January. I never received a reminder call or message of any kind reminding me of my appointment. Naturally after waiting 3 months for an appointment I became very upset when they said they could not reschedule me until July after they failed to remind me of my January apt. When I told them how displeased I was I was rudely told by the worker on the phone that it "sounds like I need to find a different groomer then". I was given no apology for their lack, no offering to make anything better. It was just handled completely unprofessional.I had switched to mudpppies several years ago from another groomer and was initially very pleased with the service I received. After being a loyal customer for years, my initial promised rate that I was given directly by the groomer began to raise 5-10$ every visit with no explanation. We always scheduled out the same amount of weeks between appointments to stay consistent, suggested by them. They failed to keep the promised rate and excused it by saying the amount of time between cuts was "too long" although they had been the ones suggesting the amount of time between cuts.If you have a pup that needs regularly groomed, I would not recommend mud puppies as they have proven to be unprofessional, unable to keep their promises they make to their customers on rates, appointments, and honest suggestions of time between cuts.

Great grooming service! Christine really spent the time needed with my dog we had just recently adopted. She was pretty matted and I was nervous about dropping her off somewhere for the first time....Not only did my pup look great, she was so happy and comfortable. Can be a little on the pricey side for grooming, but its all based on breed and temperament of your dog- and all so worth it with the great care!

First time using Mud Puppies & best relieve from my back bending over trying to give my dog her bath😊😃 Believe she enjoyed as well. Recommend going here. Staff explained what all you need to do. Little puzzled at first, thought I had to supply items. Shop setup & waiting for your fur baby! Very Nice!!

Was there today and they did a great job on trimming my dog's nails. We're very helpful with instructions on what to do when using their self wash area even provided a turban to protect her ears. Will recommend them to anyone who asks where can they get great service when wanting to get their dog groomed.

Amazing, just wonderful. I don't own a tub at home and have a difficult time cleaning my dog, but this place makes it so easy. They have specialty dog food too, and will let you try some out! This is closer to me than the other large dog store so it is better travel while to get food from here.

Absolutely wonderful experience, Sabrina did an amazing job on our pekatese named Puff. I showed her pictures and she did exactly that!!! Staff is very friendly and helpful and also had a speedy service! Only took 2 hours to be groomed as Petco took almost 4 hours last time. Price is good also!!Great place to take your pets!

This place rocks. Super friendly staff they give you all the supplies you need to wash and dry your dog and they are super helpful and I really enjoyed my visit. Prices depend on the size of your dog but it's not expensive at all.

Clean, but thats all I can say thats good. Prices are outrageous, we are from out of town and stopped on our way home to bath the dogs, my saint bernard barely fit in their tub and they charged me $22 to bath my own dog, i used my own shampoo because of her allergies..still $22. Our normal place at home is only $10. The blow dryer made awful sounds, my pups are used to the dryer but were terrified of the awful noise it was making.

BEST grooming place in Erie!!! I've tried quite a few & This definitely has my approval!! They work not only With you & your schedule but with your animal who may have special needs. ANITA IS A SUPER SPECIAL groomer if you have a sensitive dog!!! She was fantastic with our very elderly dog who'd been kicked out of 3 other grooming places!!! She was gentle & kind & got him fully groomed every time Underhill hee passed. All the staff is super friendly. I definitely recommend them

I just picked my dog up from getting groomed at Mud Puppies and I am blown away by the friendly and professional service. The groomer actually realized a medical condition that my vet missed (as I just had her in yesterday). My dog looks great and I will be a returning customer for sure!

The professional groomers are great, and the self service option is affordable. The staff will trim your dogs nails at the end, and then they have great treats and dog food that you can pick up when you're done.

First off, when they had my pup in the beginning I WAS VERY HAPPY ALL 3 TIMES...BUT, our groomer went to Florida and everything was negative from there on. Both times after our groomer left we saw A NEW GROOMER FACE.. Now I want to connect with a same face groomer when walking in. Plus, after getting home from the groomers I noticed my dog had a Inch long gash on her leg and next day it scabbed,etc....... THAT'S A HUGE NONO and I should have been notified when walking in. They pulled that groomer from a different shop that day😑 Also, I only have Mondays off and they struggled to work around that due to being closed! I would have had another new random face for my baby AGAIN. NO.... Unsure if I'll ever give them another chance
