I didn’t want to give one star but after today I’m very disappointed and upset, I shop here because it’s got good deals and I’ve never had an issue plus it’s right by my work so it’s also convenient to pick up right after work… I usually place mobile orders so I can just pick up and go home, well today was issue after issue and at first my card didn’t go through so I paid for it when I got there no big deal it happens, but then it said I owed 28 cents so I paid that in change, she took the change then 10 minutes later tells me it wouldn’t let her do partial payments so I transferred from my savings and gave her my card to pay the rest, sit there for another 20 minutes for her to charge me another 15 dollars, then cancel the whole order and my transaction telling me that I have to wait for the money to come back on my card in 5 days, I sat there for 30 minutes for absolutely nothing to be done and I never call and complain and when I called and spoke to the manager, funny enough she said it was her which I’m sorry but not very good at it because she didn’t do much to help me out at all and didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing, so she sent me over to another manager who didn’t explain it any better to me, so now I have no money for groceries and no groceries, it was the worst experience ever and the worst customer service I will not be coming back to this location for a while.

I didn’t even want to give them one star. I just moved here from out of state and for three days., I’ve been dealing with their pharmacy trying to get my prescriptions. I highly recommend you do not use their pharmacy

Alan the team leader blew up balloons for me in the floral department when it was closed it was small to him but meant so much to me. My dad had just had a stroke and I was running late to my stepson birthday dinner. It might of been small to him but his humility meant so much to me ❤️

This bakery department here is an udder disappointment. Went in for inquiries about a wedding cake and was given complelety different info every time. Was than told by a supposed cake designer to email them with all details for this cake for them to never even respond and almost ruin our wedding due to thier poor customer service and staff apparently not even knowing simple pricing or what they can or can't design. I'd rate 0 out of 5 if it was even possible. Don't use this bakery department

They've got this neat scan system now. Like living in the future. I felt unprepared and scared of the future so I didn't use it, but I (like most people) am intrigued by more ways to limit my interactions with others.They also have Fresca in little pop bottles instead of having to always get a 2 liter.

Produce is rarely fresh it goes bad fast. Staff is rude, does not know where items are more often than not. Not real friendly to people with disabilities. Self check out is atrocious. High prices for 2nd rate meat.

I enjoy shopping at Giant Eagle because it's convenient and the ease of navigating the store for my everyday items is wonderful. When I arrived today, at 8:59pm I entered the store to be greeted by a manager-looking guy with "you've got one minute". No hello, no hi, no explanation the store is closing momentarily. With competitor grocery stores in close proximity (Wegmans and Tops) I frankly never expected a store operating at this level to close at this time of day. The closing time notwithstanding, manager-looking guy should probably greet customers a bit better. I'll be back but sheesh!

My first visit to this location. Prices seem to lean toward expensive rather than cheap, but if you buy primarily what's on sale, then it is pretty reasonable. To take advantage of the sales, you need their loyalty card. Selection was good, but certain items were not offered, such as flaxseed milk, and they only offered two types of canned sardine -- for things like that, Wegmans seems better. Plenty of parking at 7AM on a Saturday.

First time I've been to this location and it absolutely stunned me. It was awesome in every way. Very clean, well stocked. I found items there I have never seen at other stores before. The aisles were very wide and easy to navigate in my wheelchair, which other stores don't seem to do. All told, a very pleasant shopping trip. I will probably make the 10 mile journey to continue to shop at this store

A good store for groceries, however, I think the customer service is falling steadily. Just called to check on a prescription status. The girl answered my question, but was quick to hang up on me and not thank me for calling. I guess they're focusing on other areas besides great service...what a shame 😑

Usually it's a better rating when I go here but the guy that rang me out at the register obviously hates his job didn't great me when I can up didn't say have a nice day when I left didn't even tell me my total I had to look myself. And when I asked for a bag you would have thought I asked him to jump off a cliff with the amount of exhale I heard. Granted maybe he was having a bad day or something but I was nothing but friendly to him. And as I was walking away I noticed he didn't greet that person either.Bags they do away with plastic bags and now offer paper or reusable bags for a cost....OK your saving thousands on bags and probably now making money on bags alone and yet the price of food is thru the roof here shouldn't the prices be lower now since your saving money on the bags and for the most part having your customers check themselves out? Almost every time I go here there is 1 register open and the self checkouts last I knew I didn't get a paycheck from giant eagle why should I have to do thier job?

I love this Giant Eagle - it is one of my two favorite grocery stores! However-lately some stuff has been picked over or sold out- and I can NEVER remember to bring my bags in!! So hard to get used to..BUT it is a great concept!! 👁💜🍩!my fave donuts hands down!

What's there to say? Grocery store with high prices. People are willing to pay because there is a non-Walmart atmosphere. The Deli meats seem to be of good quality. I like the fresh fish although not every store offers that service. On occasion I use the fresh meat dept. Good quality. I took 1 star away because of high prices. The best part is my discounted gas, by the end of the month I usually end up with $2 off per gallon.

I have to say the Erie Giant Eagle is spectacular!! The employees are kind, courteous and respectful! THEIR prices are eh not bad if you really look and not rush to shop! Overall I can't say anything BAD about this location... Top notch thanks 👍

Hours are 7am-9pm. Why even be open at all??? Wegmans in open 6am -12am. Your shooting yourself in the foot. LONG LIVE WEGMANS! As a side not NOBODY shops at Giant Eagle so it’s always empty and easy to get out and on with your day.

It's a solid grocery store. We often stop there when we are visiting my in laws in Erie PA. The store is clean and even though their selection isn't always the greatest, you are most of the time able to find what you need in a similar brand. The store is bright and the produce is fresh. The staff is generally nice, respectful, and helpful.

I absolutely love the design of this store, this reminds me of stores in Pittsburgh and other larger cities. The signage has a more modern touch, warm and inviting. Produce and meats are well stocked and priced comparable to other stores. A nice emphasis on local produced foods, wonderful place to shop!🤗

Great grocery store. Prices are clearly marked as are the aisles. Very clean. Employees are very helpful and friendly.
