Going to this store to pick out a fireplace this passed December, 3 weeks ago. We talked to a gentleman and told us our wishes and it seemed a pleasant conversation, we left our phone number for him to call us for a quote before ordering. He has not called us once, we have called him three times, the last time we tried, about 10 days ago, he said he was working on it and he would call us back in one hour,needless to say, we still have not heard from him. We will go somewhere else and spend our money. Never seen such bad consumer service!

I have gone to the store three times and I’ve received three different answers. I’m trying to replace a frame for my fireplace. Just very disappointing that I go to a fireplace store and they give me the runaround. I did finally find help in one stop.

Great service! I have been looking for a particular screw for days. I had spent too much time looking around stores in the area, and when I asked for help at these stores, I was returned with a dumbfounded look. At Farriers, I asked an associate for what I needed and was checking out with exactly what I needed in under a minute. Thanks so much!

Literally pulled into the parking lot @ 5:52pm, store closed ar 6pm. The skinny balding gentleman standing at the door decided he was done for the day and proceeded to the lock the doors and make me take my business elsewhere. Real nice guy in the blue polo with glasses

After getting no help despite requesting it at Lowes, I had to leave without a grill...Ferrier’s was the complete opposite and was so extremely helpful and appreciative of me as a customer. Definitely recommend!

Made a special trip into Erie to buy soap making supplies here and was rudely told that they no longer carry what I was looking for due to the local meth heads - of course this was after the guy at the counter looked me up and down and glared at my tattoos. I don't appreciate being judged for my body art

I have been coming to this store probably since my father dragged me in as a little kid. This is one of the few stores left anymore that have the stuff that you still need that the big stores won't carry always very helpful cut wire and pipe and anything you need to length

I was camping near Presque Isle, 200 miles from home, in a "new to me" pop up camper and was having trouble with my camper's stove. After visiting a big blue box hardware store and leaving in frustration because I was unable to find the parts needed and nobody seemed interested in helping me. Feeling defeated I googled "hardware" and ended up at Ferrier's where a gentleman with 22 years experience was able to get my stove back in service within minutes. You can shop here and receive a True Value or go to other places if you have lowe expectations.

It's that mom and pop type store. Small easy to look around and friendly staff. They have a lot of stuff there.

Without these guys you wouldn't ever find the lowes doesn't carry it items. A real hometown hardware store that makes corporate shopping seem insulting. Seven stars.
