The best and most comprehensive rabbit rescue in this part of the country. You’ll never find a more caring network of volunteers. When a bunny is in need, they find a way to help. Great place to volunteer, donate, and of course adopt from.

Ron and his crew provide loving support and care for abandoned and endangered rabbits. They offer a valuable service to the tri-state area. Their in-depth knowledge helps to address the challenges these rabbits face. EARS relies on volunteers and donations to accomplish their important work.

I have adopted two rabbits from EARS. The adoption process is great. We took our bunny there for "speed dating" and the volunteers are great in helping us pick out the right bunny that fit with ours. After my first one passed suddenly, they were helped us pick out another bunny so our second one wouldn't be lonely. They take wonderful care of the bunnies and let us know the history of the ones we took home. They helped us with the bonding process and are happy to help out with any questions I have. We love EARS and are so happy to have our bunnies from them. I will always recommend them to anyone who wants a bunny.

I want to take a moment to thank the wonderful staff at EARS for helping me through a recent, very difficult time with Princess Rhino Pajama Pants, my recently deceased rabbit, when she suddenly got sick. Princess Rhino stopped eating two days after Christmas, and I didn't know what to do. EARS had helped me trim Princess Rhino’s toenails, and my mother gave me the idea to contact EARS for help. I frantically called in the evening and left a message. Heather, a volunteer there, responded quickly around 8:30 PM and not only helped me find vets that would be able to see Princess Rhino (rabbits are exotic pets) the next day but came to my house at 10:30 PM with a bag of Critical Care and anti-gas food, and helped me give both to Princess Rhino, so I didn’t have to struggle alone. The next day, Heather texted me to pass along ideas from the EARS owner, Ron, and to check on how we were doing. Princess is a cosmopolitan rabbit that traveled to Erie from New York City, so she isn't even a former EARS rabbit. Both are passionate, knowledgeable, and compassionate people who went above and beyond for us during a very dark night. No one was paid to help me; they are compassionate, knowledgeable people who truly care about rabbits’ wellbeing. EARS is not only a rabbit rescue but a huge asset for rabbit owners and the greater Erie community. I happily donated all of Princess Rhino’s remaining supplies to EARS and plan to make future monetary donations there. Thank you, EARS for everything.

Absolutely wonderful place for our rabbits in need of care in the region! I came here to adopt a bunny of my own for a companion and now I volunteer here to help. They care for so many bunnies and make sure they get more than just food and water. They make sure the get social time and exercise. They have a great med team and much more. I have made some great friends there. And I love we have this place here.

Very disappointed with the staff never answering their phones and always locking their doors AT LEAST 10-15 min before “close” Literally all 5 staff hid when we walked up, even though we called ahead leaving a message to let them know when we’d be there.Change the closing times on the website if you are not actually welcoming in people who want to adopt! Not only that but I had to park on the side of the road with my kids because the staffs FIVE cars/SUV’s took up the ENTIRE driveway/lot

Well taken care of bunnies! This establishment is run by excellent staff and volunteers. The rabbits are in great hands. Everything is clean and the bunnies get plenty of love, attention and exercise. Taking on a rabbit as a pet is a responsibility people just don't take seriously, which is why rabbits end up here. Before adopting please educate yourself on what's needed to be a good bunny owner and caregiver! They're sweet and silly pets that make excellent companions.

EARS is a well-run facility, providing rabbit rescue, medical care, education, and adoption services. The staff is attentive and very knowledgeable. Having a bunny is a wonderful option for a pet, but they require special care and there is a learning curve. EARS has a thorough process for adoption and provides support and services to help you care for your bunny. We couldn't be happier with our sweet bun, thank you EARS!

EARS is a animal shelter for bunnies. They take very good care of their bunnies while in their care. Rabbits that are rescued by EARS are often neglected, sick, or malnourished. EARS will address their immediate and long term needs. 10s of volunteers daily care for the rabbits while they are housed there. EARS will find good homes for each bun by educating potential adopters and assessing living conditions. Rabbits are different than cats and dogs so members at EARS really help you make an informed decision when you finally choose to adopt one of these wonderful animals. Benefits are held often and they accept donations whether it be monatary or material. I loved what EARS is doing so much I became a volunteer. Please check their website for specific hours to visit.

Friendly staff and lovely rabbits. They care for them a lot. But the owner ruined my experience. He wasn't nice and looked at me like I was the worst kind of person. Especially when I mentioned that in the past, I had to surrender a rabbit because of schooling.
