Z E R O STARS!! for pharmacyrude. complaining staff (Evonna, swearing about me as she hangs up) shorted our prescription(once for sure, but one other time also... i just didnt see it at first.) doesn't work well with doctors. Service has been downright terrible these last couple of years. I'm the one who tries to do the work of mediating between the doctor's office and this Pharmacy and it's like they still can't fill a prescription according to what the doctor prescribes. The last prescription we needed filled our doctor had to finally call and speak to the pharmacist herself. She ended up having to give a verbal authorization so as not to confuse CVS and their system. One pharmacist (charlie) accepted the verbal authorization the next day a different pharmacist (trisha) said that that verbal authorization had not been entered into the system. And then she(trisha) proceeded to change our prescription paperwork according to a verbal authorization that she did not receive herself. And when I went in to find out what was going on, the pharmacist herself (trisha)told me that "the culture of CVS does not care about clients or prescriptions and that the only thing their corporate culture cares about is vaccines." She also told me that trying to help facilitate the pharmacy and the doctor's office work well together would "only be possible in a perfect world." She said that to my face in person in front of me and other customers. I filed a complaint with CVS reg mgr. And now I will file a complaint with the State Board for licensing.and looked over a few other negative reviews... and lo and behold... it's a pattern #fireher

I generally don't like CVS. They do not really care about health, only their bottom line and it shows in their services. The only bright spot of my visit is the young cashier was nice and could hold a minimal conversation. Plus they're open 24hrs which is helpful.

1 of the few places open 24/7. Prices are a bit high but, I've never had any problems with anything I've bought from here. Great staff, very clean store and restrooms. You do have to get a code for bathroom, which is actually why it's so nice. Highly recommend for pharmacy.

Horrible service I had 2 prescription 's filled on the same day that have to be taken together together, the amounts do not match up.when you try to contact them they say it's not there fault. Instead of trying to help they argue with you. Iam transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Will never go there again.

It is 11/15/23 at 12:47 in the afternoon I called about my enhalers to see why their still not filled and the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude with sooo much attitude so I finished up my call and asked her for her name in which she refused to give me her name I switched from rite aid to cvs due to my rite aid closing and so I came here because it’s close to me and but I will not tolerate anyone disrespecting me and I will be contacting management right after this review. You CANNOT treat and talk to customers like that then refuse to even give your name so that you can be handled! You deserve 0 stars!!

If I could give this CVS zero stars I would. Every interaction I have had with the pharmacy staff is negative. They are extremely rude and annoyed by anyone’s presence much or less someone asking for help. They are in such a rush that on one occasion the gave me the incorrect vaccine despite me asking three separate times to confirm the shot I was receiving. They also reported giving me a vaccine that I had never received to my doctor and the DOH. The service is terrible and unwelcoming and they have created extensive problems for myself and my health system by not being through and making mistakes that could result in harm.

Directed by my doctor to ask my pharmacist if I could take a certain herbal supplement. Pharmacist said she never heard of the supplement and I should Google it and hung up before I could ask another question.

I attempted to get a prescription for my daughter yesterday(well today too since it's midnight), and this has been hours of work. My daughter is severely sick with strep (5 years old lethargic and suffering) I recently dropped off primary insurance and only have one now, it has been that way for a month. I go to fill her script and they tell me they cannot fill it because there is a primary and the secondary insurance won't let them. I call the secondary, they say no that's incorrect. At this point CVS has made me drive around with 5 kids (1 very ill) after work, trying to figure out what the heck is going on with this insurance. The only insurance I do have is telling me that is CVS's fault and they are running it wrong. My BF went and tried to get the script for my daughter, I was on the phone the whole time and I could hear the attitude in their voice when he showed them none, It's like they were talking down to him as if they didn't want to do the work at all. We are removing all our scripts and not doing any more business there. I hope no one else wastes their time there and I hope the company hires people with actual interpersonal skills. If I could give you a negative I would.

Whoever the women is working there , she got a HUGE attitude and chip on her shoulder, first the.lady wouldn't fill my pain med scripts because my insurance didn't cover it and I wanted to pay cash for it , a whole 32 dollars . Big whoop right , but then trying to refill another medicine yesterday that was supposed to had been put on order a week before she gave me huge issues AGAIN . I transferred all my scripts to Walgreens and they already have them all transferred and filled.

I don't know who takes care of the cvs on 38th and pine in Erie. It is horrible to try and reach anyone in the pharmacy. I was on hold 35 min. To speak to anyone, not only once but 3 times. Call general store spoke with Sally who then put me on hold again. On hold now, so far 8 and a half min.

We recently switched over because it's a 24h pharmacy and also more convenient location than the other pharmacy we had been using. I wish I never switched! I had a script called in yesterday. Waited a few hours to head over. Pharmacy didn't have it ready. Came back today for it -over 30 hours since it was called in- and they're "still processing it." When I asked why I was told that there were too many scripts ahead of mine, they just didn't get to it yet.

The pharmacy is constantly under staffed. Forget about calling about anything. You will be on hold over 20 min before anyone is able to pick up. I feel so bad for the techs and pharmacists here. It seems like the most stressful and unpleasant work environment. You'd think CVS would appreciate their employees and customers enough to fix this ongoing staffing issue at ALL of their local pharmacies. When you can see and feel the stress and unhappiness of your employees it's extremely unpleasant having to do business with you.

They do not always know what they dispense. I asked for them to dispense the same drug as last time (from the same manufacturer) and they didn’t know what that was. I showed them a pill and I was told they’ve never seen it and don’t know what it is. There is no NDC on the bottle so they couldn’t look it up that way. I wonder what drug they dispensed if they can’t tell what it is even when I bring the bottle and the capsule. Very troubling.

By far the worst pharmacy. There’s never the same people working. Today, I took my daughter to the Dr and at 1145 watched them put in a prescription order. 115 I go to pick it up and they said they just received it. We’ll be taking our prescriptions elsewhere after today. We’ve had to do so prior and have gotten what we needed in less than an hour. Whoever is in charge of this location does not run it well.

Haven't been able to get my medication from this place for two days straight, first time they said it wasn't even there and the second time the pharmacy was just outright closed on a Tuesday afternoon, even the service was more than unhelpful

I would give negative stars if I could. Chronically very late with my refills, new RX etc. Pulmonologist sent RX Monday noon. Tuesday at 5:30 when I went to get it was told it might be in on Thursday. No call, no nothing. I could have had it today by buying on line. This is breathing meds! I sure do miss Burhenns. They were nice honest folks who cared.

There is a female tech that is consistently rude. She has put such a sour taste in my mouth. We will never return to this pharmacy as a family and highly recommend you do the same. She needs to see that all of the negative reviews are about her. Smile once and a while and there wouldn't be such low ratings.

If possible, I would give zero stars! I am a medical professional and have contacted this pharmacy many times to meet patient’s needs. I have had enough of being treated so rudely by one of the female pharmacists at this location, this was the last straw! Apparently, I had asked one too many questions regarding a patient’s medication because this pharmacist (who would not give her name, stating “I am the pharmacist “ when asked) literally answered my question with a . . . and I quote, “ Oh Jesus Christ.” I replied, excuse me, did you just say Jesus Christ? She then said in an extremely snarky manner, “I am not at the counter.”If this is acceptable behavior and I don’t care how short staffed this location is (perhaps due to the employee morale) then heads should roll from upper management on down. This location has truly scraped the bottom of the barrel!!!

Whyyyyyyyyyyy would y’all no longer accept UPMC insurance when there’s UPMC EMPLOYEES all over the city of Erie! Why would y’all then NOT let anyone know that that’s the case. & HOW are people refilling prescriptions with UPMC but y’all supposedly don’t accept it????? I’m confused? Y’all are down the street and open 24 hours which is SUPER convenient but y’all don’t accept the MAIN insurance? Ugh. Do better.

I’m beyond disappointed that this is the pharmacy that was chosen to take the place of Burhenn’s patients. They almost never have simple prescription medication in stock because per the pharmacist migraine medication is expensive. I agree so is every other medication you have in stock not to mention shelf life is at least 2 years.Next the staff is rude including but not limited to speaking over patients. Their pharmacy supervisor condones this behavior because in her word “we are a very busy pharmacy” so apparently disrespecting patient is okay as long as you are busy. They will surely be one patient less, today was my last stop at this pharmacy that seems to be run by under qualified personnel.

I had prescriptions called in on Wednesday and it is now Saturday. My prescriptions are still “in process”.I called the pharmacy on Friday and they still are in the “queue” which means they haven’t been counted or anything.NO ONE should have to wait that long for prescriptions!!

They have MULTIPLE TIMES, shorted me on medications from counting incorrectly. This has happened on more than 4 occasions. I really love having to come home and count all of my medications to make sure I'm getting what I paid for, or dealing with attitude when I ask them to recount them in front of me before I leave the store because it has become this much of a problem, with them no giving the correct amount of pills for my prescription. The lines and customer service is garbage. I wish my insurance would let me go somewhere else for my medications, but they are contracted with CVS exclusively, so I would have to pay full price to go somewhere else. Very Frustrating this is a common reoccurring issue.

I've been going to this pharmacy for years, and the process to get my medications was always smooth and easy and the staff friendly and helpful. In the past year or more, everything has gone the complete opposite direction. I get the wrong meds, have delays on critical medications as long as a week or more, often they forget to even run my insurance, and the staff is not helpful, arrogant, and it takes forever to get someone on the phone.Even getting my daughter's simple diabetic supplies is a hassle. The latest issue is they shorted me on one of my sons meds by almost 2 weeks on a 60 day supply. Despite almost a week's worth of phone calls and speaking to every manager I can, nothing has been done, and my son will be out of his meds for almost 2 weeks because they made a mistake. The last manager I spoke to had me in tears telling me this was my problem and they didn't do anything wrong and I just had to deal with it. I'm done. I'll be moving my meds to a different pharmacy. The fact that this one is 24hr doesn't make up for the lack of professionalism and the NIGHTMARES I've had trying to get any of my medications.

This CVS is the absolute worst in Customer Service in store, drive through, or phone if you are even lucky enough to get someone to answer. Then they will won’t help you even more. This has been a constant theme at this location since I moved here years ago. My Drs and insurance have even complained so glad I could switch most of meds somewhere else. By the looks of these other reviews I’m not the only one!

Just the absolute worst service always. The people in the pharmacy are always rude. They act like its a bother to help you or to explain things to you. Was told my script would be ready at noon. My husband went at 3 to pick it up....no surprise, it wasn't ready. I usually have my scripts mailed to me, but this was a new med. If it weren't for my insurance I would 100% go somewhere else.

We have been going to this CVS for years, first because our insurance required us to use CVS pharmacies, but even after that changed, we stayed only because they are the only 24-hr pharmacy in the area. However, we won't be returning again.Tonight myhusband went to pick up our son's n prescription. Our insurance recently changed again, and he presented the card to the tech, who said they already had it on file. No, we just got this new insurance, you don't have this. She didn't know the difference between two companies with similar names, and apparently, as has been an issue for over a year now, no one has taken out my son's prescription information from over a year ago- two insurance plans back. They tried charging us over $100 tonight. When I called in to fix the issue, the person I spoke with on the phone was exceedingly rude, didn't want to take my insurance information over the phone, and refused to look up the insurance plan because he didn't have the card in his hand.This has been our third insurance change in about 2 years, and each time, it has taken about 4 months for CVS to get it right. I've spent hours on the phone with CVS, my insurance companies, driving back to CVS multiple times, and every time, I end up with reps who are rude, roll their eyes, refuse to help, or say things like, "well maybe you should call your insurance company again, because it's not our problem." I'm completely done with this company and will be finding a new pharmacy to take my business to.
