Absolutely wonderful establishment. I purchased my two rats Emmet and Finnegan here about a year ago, and they have been consistently healthy and happy. Not a single severe medical issue so far! (Knock on wood) Even from day one, Emmet was an extremely well socialized rat. Usually I have to put some work into socializing my rodents— but not my boys from Buzz n’ Bees. You can tell the workers truly love and cherish every animal that goes through their doors. I will certainly be a returning customer.

My new favorite place in town. Will and Landon are super knowledgeable and helped me build up a small tank for my home. What started as a single guppy rescue, is turning into a beautiful, relaxing addition to my home. My cats enjoy watching the fish also 😉. I really love that they are locally owned. Every trip ia a learning experience for me. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

We love this place! Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and caring. I got a guinea pig and 2 crested geckos from here that were healthy and still doing well. They also have a good selection of live food: meal worms, super worms, crickets, roaches, etc.Great local place!

My family and I are from Pittsburgh and visit Erie often during the summer. This was the first time I had the pleasure to visit this store. I am a life-long aquarium enthusiast, and this store absolutely made my day!Not only do they carry a myriad of aquatic friends (to include Axolotls), but the tanks were clean and well maintained. On top of that, their staff was friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and obviously had a love for what they do.This is also the only store I've visited that carries products from both Aquarium Co-Op, and Xtreme Aquatic Foods! This was amazing to me as these are items I would typically have to purchase online.The bottom line is that this store will now be a regular stop on every trip my family and I make to Erie in the future!!!

Great experiences every time. I go In weekly for live mice for my snakes and they are always super helpful and have great options for reptile habitats, food, fish etc. always love checking out the new animals as well. All of the people who work there have always been really nice to me. Glad we have this shop in Erie.

What an amazing place!! The staff were all very helpful and very knowledgeable! I haven't been here in years and I'm glad to see they're still here and still such a great and honest pet store! Helped me with a piece of spider wood and some real plants to get the tank going and only $10 worth of "starter" fish rather than the $50 worth of fish I intend on getting. (Very honest on their part) I will definitely be going there for all my pet needs! We actually grabbed treats for our fur friends as well. 👍A+++

Buzz n B's has really stepped up there game they have an amazing variety of fresh water fish and plants along with there new tank setup the quality of there fish has been taken to a new level. They also have a excellent variety foods and supplies for all your pets needs.

Very clean, which was very nice to see because you don't see that much these days. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful as well as the birds that were hanging out and oh so gorgeous. Highly recommend.

I Love this pet store. It is so nice and they have a great selection. Also the employees will help you bc they are very knowledgeable.Why buy from a national chain when you can purchase from people who are your neighbors! Everyone is so nice and helpful and the New owners are great.

The only reason I give a 2 is because of one staff member is always horrible and cocky she’s very unpleasant when my fiancée and I go in there. The other staff members are amazing helpful and pleasant. We are for now going to stop going there and will be taking our business else where for a while it’s unfortunate because we enjoyed going there. Sorry for the bad review!

We went in to check out their ferrets and see what all they had. To our surprise they have. ALOT! The staff was super chill and very informative. Answered all of my questions and their prices were actually competitively priced to online places. I see this being our go to pet store very soon. I always feel so welcome there and they’ve never made me feel like they were impatient with me. I really need that cause I got a lot of questions!! LOL

This is my new favorite place to shop locally that always has great products and healthy animals. My family stopped in this past Friday and bought two Oscars, live plants and fish supplies. This is our third time here and we always happy. Staff is always SUPER knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

I got my sun conure Mango from them about a year ago. She's the best bird I could ever ask for. I go here for everything I need for all of my animals. Today I got a cockatiel and so far she's very sweet as well! Honestly this is one of the best petstores I've ever seen. I would give it more stars if I could!

Buzz n' Bees is the best pet shop in Erie! Every single employee there is super friendly and knowledgeable and the owners Paige and Josh are great people. I very highly recommend this store to all pet lovers! I personally love their bird department, which is always new and exciting to see all different species that come and go! As a bird breeder, I wouldn't trust anyone else besides Buzz n' Bees! I encourage you to stop by if you are interested in a feathered friend!

I love Buzz N B’s so much! The staff is so friendly and welcoming and their pets are so well taken care of. I can’t believe how knowledgeable everyone is. I have been paired with amazing pets from them over and over again. My biggest purchase was a cockatiel. This little sweetie is my daughter’s best friend right now. So docile, friendly, and affectionate. Buzz N B’s hand fed her and was always more than happy to update me on how she was doing whenever I called.Thank you SO MUCH, Buzz N B’s!!!

One of my favorite stores to stop by while I'm in Erie! They have such a large selection of really unique plants and fish and I have found several of my favorites here! They are all super healthy and colorful and they take the time to quarantine their new arrivals. I have never had an issue with any plant or fish I've bought from this store! I also liked that they carried Aquarium Co-Op products as I've never seen them at any stores near me! Every employee there has so much knowledge to share and they actually will spend time talking with you. They want you to be successful with every purchase you make! Definitely worth the drive from Pittsburgh!

They are probably the best store in a 1-2 hour drive from where I live very very clean! They are also very knowledgeable about almost anything you can ask them, very helpful on my fish tank hobby I have started! The owner she is very friendly!!!!

Buzz n B's is top notch. I've been a customer all my 34 years of being a hobbyist. The entire staff are great, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Aquatics Manager and Aquatics team member Adam. They both helped me out recently with a stressful situation when I needed to rehome one of my favorite fish, a Green Turquoise Severum. Adam went far above and beyond regular customer service. He even texted me to let me know the Severum already found his new forever home. I will always be a loyal customer of this store!

I used to go here in the 90s with my parents. We had dogs, birds, and fish at home. We also lived very close. I remember it being fun going as a kid. I recently got into aquariums and have stopped in a few times the last few weeks since I'm close. I went in and asked for a glass top for my aquarium. I was given one choice. No big deal. Even said on the packaging it fit my tank which is a 40 breeder. It didn't fit. They kindly took it back. I grabbed their last 5 Zebra Danios some rocks and an Aquarium Co-op light and left. The glass top I returned was 52.99. The Danios were 2.99 each. I'm very happy with the Co-op light. I ended up getting a glass top for 34.99 and more Danios for 2.29 each at other pet/hobby stores. I went back in the store today to pick up a couple fish and a black background. Spent some time looking at all the fish. There is someone in the aquarium section asking an ungodly amount of questions. No problem with a few questions but these guys have other customers as well. Watch a 5 minute video. Anyways I get someone and ask for the black background. Need 36" x 18". They didn't have any. There is tons of backgrounds that size but not black? I'm told I can buy the next size up and cut it. The next size up is ten cents more an inch. I ask will they give me the price of the smaller roll and he says no. I don't want to spend four extra dollars cut it myself and throw it away. I politely decline and the guy just walks away. Thanks dude I'll get the fish elsewhere. This is a nice little store but it is pricey. I know they carry a wide variety of products for all kinds of animals and that's great. I support local business and I will still continue to stop in. You have other options when it comes to aquarium shops in town.
