Don't like that all but one register is now self serve. This sucks for large orders. If I wanted to run a register I would have filled out an application. What's next, do you want me to stock the shelves too? I now go to a supermarket that has cashiers and baggers.

I wish I could write 2 separate reviews. The pharmacy is AMAZING. They do a fantastic job. There's always little to no wait with kind workers. On the other hand, the grocery part of the store has become a shopping nightmare. There is NEVER enough employees working check out so we always have to do self check out with our cart full of items. And every time we do we have issues requiring an employee to come over several times to help. We leave extremely frustrated every time. And now as of late we're finding it difficult to find fresh items as there are things rotting on the shelves. My husband and I did our first order to pick up since we weren't feeling well and were extremely disappointed to find rotting celery in the grocery bag once we had already brought the groceries home. This rotting liquid was on the other things in the bag. It said online that they'd have the "freshest" things picked out. I called the store and waited on hold for over 20 minutes before someone finally helped. At this point I wanted a refund for the service and the celery and they said I'd have to come into the store to exchange. I explained that we were trying not to get anyone in the store sick and that we don't have time to run the whole way back to the store. The lady we talked to said to come at 7am the next morning and that she'd bring the celery out to us. My husband was there at 7am the next morning before having to work and the lady wasn't there. He called the store and they said he needed to come in. So my husband went in to grab the celery and found that all the bags of celery were rotting! So it's no wonder the picker gave us a rotting one. He ended up having to grab an organic bag in which he was given an attitude about. This could've been avoided if the picker would've let us know she didn't have celery originally before making us go home with a rotting bag of celery. She had called us about something else, which we were thankful for, so I'm not sure why she didn't include that. But mistakes happen, things are missed, that's what REFUNDS are for. Which was not offered to us.Go to Dutch Way for your grocery needs. There's plenty of real check out lanes with real people open, the workers are wonderful, and there food is fresh. This review was for the shoppers so you guys don't have to go through the same headaches as we us.

Get more cashiers! I don't go there to work. Your items need to have signage so you know how much it is. If I have to spend time walking around to find it, it should be free! On the other hand, your meat department is excellent. Store is bright and clean.

I just bought a French bread from your store. When I took the 1st bite I noticed that it was very rubbery and hard to break apart. I asked my wife for the date and told me it was good until 8 March.I suspect that this is old bread with new date. I hope the old bread is being thrown out and not redated . I will buy my bread somewhere else.

Lisa the produce manager is an amazing person! Extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to her craft. When you think of someone who embodies customer service, that's Lisa. The only thing that matches her level of customer service is her persistence and willingness to help others.

This location is good, not great. The specials are ok when they have them. The products they sell can be found cheaper at other locations around town. The produce is decent, better when in season. The customer service is good; they are helpful and take care of membership issues and returns. The one great thing is the beer cafe. They have a wide selection of imports and domestics. Great for six packs of one kind or mix a six.

December 26th around 3:45pm. I purchased two cases of beer. One bud light one miller light. I was told it was past the capacity I am allowed to buy and I would have to buy one take it to my car buy another.. I was completely fine with that whatever… welll… each was $12.99 upon viewing my online banking I had 3 charges for $12.99 for December 26th !! and one still pending .. I figured maybe they did something wrong and the pending charge was gonna be refunded back. But nope it posted tonight making that not just the 1 extra but another additional one as well .. so I was charged 12.99 4x for 2 cases of beer!! I was ripped off 26$ I won’t be back. And I will be calling my bank and disputing !!!

Never have Fantastic Friday deals in stock. Expired dairy products on their shelves, and when I gave it to an employee she seemed irritated that I was bothering her. No prices on some items on the shelf, no labels. Store is very unorganized and cluttered. Employees are not very friendly there. With so many grocery stores to choose from, I’ll go somewhere else from now on, I’m done there. It’s always a wasted trip.

The one star review has nothing to do with the employees there great. I just simply can't get anything i used to get from here because they no longer have it. I used to go for a few different craft beers but they stopped carrying all but one. I get that one fresh in growler kegs straight from the brewery.

Terrible customer service. Only go here when absolutely necessary. Meat is constantly expired and I get attitude when I simply tell them. I mean, Canadian bacon over 60 days expired seriously messed up. Also things marked on sale don't ring up on sale and when I ask the employee at checkout tells me to go find a manager. I bought two sodas at the checkout in front of the register, where the signs all over the coolers says two for $4. They wouldn't adjust it and said go tell a manager?! No thanks easier to go to the competition that's literally next door. Shame too because it's more convenient, but I'd rather drive another few minutes than support this level of poor service. To be fair, I have tried to talk to folks here a few times before leaving this review. Today was the last straw as an employee told me they just don't care.

It's been my go-to place for 20 years but I can't do it anymore. Please listen to your customers. All of the traditional lanes were turned over to be self checkout compatible a few years ago. Unless it's a major food shopping holiday, they keep all of them in self checkout mode except one or two until the lines get outrageous. It took a little while to catch up to you, but your reviews have been the proof in the pudding that this location is failing the customers at the front end.You need to have more than ONE register open, always. Having 10+ self-checkout Lanes open and only 1 or 2 registers staffed does not live up to the old Weis slogan of "We do what works for you!" People shop at a grocery store with full shopping carts worth of groceries. You need to have cashiers available for this. Self checkout is nice for small shopping trips, but not when I have a few hundred dollars worth of groceries.Meanwhile, giant, redner's, Dutch Way, Oregon dairy, Weavers, Martin's, Wisers, and others (all within 15 minutes) all have multiple cashiers all the time. It's starting to take a toll on your business. Please don't reply with the generic 'call our hotline' remark... It's insulting. You have your comment right here, and no further discussion is needed. Just listen to what your customer base has already said.

Brenda was extraordinarily difficult. Since my husband carried my beer, I was not allowed to purchase any alcohol because he carried it. I'm an adult of legal age, and she refused to sell to me because he carried it. But she allowed him to leave and then return to purchase more. Not sure why I was refused service.

Someone graciously gifted us with a grocery gift card for Weis. I haven't shopped at Weis in a long time. I typically go to the discount grocery stores near me, or if need be to Giant or Aldi which are right up the road.So I wasn't aware that Weis has apparently switched over to mainly self checkout. Now don't get me wrong, I actually prefer self checkout when I just have a few items. But when I have a large grocery cart full, like I did today, I definitely appreciate having an actual cashier. Now I did find out later that apparently there are at least one or two lanes that are open with a cashier. Today it was only one. But I assumed it was for 20 items or less so I didn't even go over.I struggled with that self checkout like nobody's business. I'm also currently wearing a leg brace for a possible torn meniscus. So, everything takes extra energy as it is. It took me like 20 minutes to finish checking myself out.Fortunately I didn't have anyone waiting behind me, but I would have been so embarrassed if I did. I can't imagine the self checkout lanes are efficient when the store is busy. Also, if you're going to do check out, you really need at least two people. I was trying to unload my grocery cart, ring my items, bag my items, get my items in my cart, all by myself. If you have a small order, no big deal. But my order was huge. Now I will say that the woman who was operating the customer service at the front check out area was phenomenal. And she was busy! Lots of people at the self checkout lands needed her assistance. She was patient, pleasant, and helpful in every instance that I observed. Kudos to her!And I really don't have anything negative to say about my shopping experience itself. It did take me longer because I'm not familiar with the layout of the store. And I would say the selection is a bit less than what I can find at Giant. But the prices are comparable if not better. The store was clean...and once I figured out the layout it was easy to find what I needed. So will I shop at Weis again? It's not my usual go-to. But I would be fine stopping in with a few items here and there. Will I shop for a large order there again? Probably not.

Shopped here since was a teenager. Do not like all the new non cashier changes.

Lost my business. All lanes self checkout. That removes essential entry level jobs for the community (and don’t think it’s for lowering prices because they are just as high as ever). Won’t be returning until that changes.

The last couple times I went there and got meat it was spoiled. This would be the 3rd time. I also go for my medication and it's a hot or miss if your gonna have a attitude at the pharmacy so now I just give one back

I have been coming to this weis for a few years now and it is my favorite local location. The facilities are always clean. The have a good selection to choose from and I enjoy their gluten free section. I like the options they have for prepared foods as well. This weis is in a convenient location right in a strip mall. There are not many grocery stores in the area and if you're going to choose a weis location I would come here.

I have shopped at Weis for over 20 years and have been very happy until lately along with many other ,as I can see ,with the sudden switch to the forcing people to self check out. They now have one lane that is cashier all the time and one that can be either but lately they have both been closed when I have been there and there are at least 5 people in line at the "belted" check outs. People are getting agitated because of the time it takes now for people to have to check out. The last 2 times I have been there the lines were terrible and finally Eddie started the second cashier lane and with 2 cashiers working had thins moving quickly the second time. I believe her name was Shyane the Floral manager was put in the cashier lane and was doing the best she could when the register broke down. She moved quickly over to the next register and continued. I did the online survey and the response is much the same as I have seen here. "Sorry for your experience please contact customer service " or contact the manager. You shouldn't have to go looking for the manage who is nowhere to be seen. They should be up front seeing the issue. And when you see the responses here at says "owner" if the owner is reading these comments they should know there is a problem and saying contact customer service isn't really an answer.

I usually go grocery shopping here but likely won’t be anymore after my experience yesterday. There was one lane open, 10 people in line and at least 5 employees standing around. The employees were not the problem, corporate told them they could only have one lane open at a time and customers needed to use self check out because from now one only 1-3 lanes would be open. My 9 month old was over it, I was trying to feed her and scan a cart full of groceries so I wouldn’t be there all night. I don’t know what corporate is trying to do but it does not make me want to ever return. It would be more convenient to drive further than to wait in these lines with zero help.

Weis has all the, 'what more could you want?'. Professional and courteous staff in your primary care pharmacy and grocery store. The staff is friendly in every department. Hungry? The Fresh produce, fresh seafood, with frequent sales on fresh meats and poultry puts a smile on meal time. Plus an amazing selection of liquid coffee creamers with the best variety of flavors: sugar cookie, ginger bread, rice krispies treat and even cinnamon toast crunch, + so many more.

Kenny in the Deli was excellent in the Deli. Very helpful, very attentive. Give him a raise. However the person who checked me out of the Deli was another story. Standing and talking to the customer prior to me. What a contrast!!! But I will still give you a "5" because of Kenny!!!
