I love this veterinarian. They have always treated me with respect kindness and have always been good to my kitty cats. I was told about a new medication that worked really well with cats with osteoarthritis. It's a once a month shot. My cat is actually in end-stage renal failure and her labs. I was given the suggestion to put her down humanely but can't. However this medication has definitely given her some extended quality of life through what seems like full body pain relief. I am so grateful for this suggestion cuz it's giving me more time with my fur baby. Thank you peaceful Kingdom for everything you do for my furry family.,

I have mixed emotions writing this because Dr Murphy is a great doctor in my opinion. I breed Persians and having a knowledgeable vet is important for the overall health, wellbeing and growth of my Cattery. Which as a breeder herself Dr Murphy definitely has! First let me say, this used to be my favorite practice and I loved Dr. Paul and Dr. Murphy. Since Dr Paul retiring, the service I have received for my babies has been less than adequate from the other Doctors. I would NOT recommend anyone to bring their babies here unless you're personally seeing Dr Murphy ONLY. I had an emergency with one of my 7 week old baby's eyes (ulcer/ infection)and needed drops/antibiotics for her STAT!! Dr Jose saw her after begging. After explaining her symptoms that she woke up with her eye sealed shut and obviously infected, I cleaned her eyes and gave her terramyacin ointment. Later that day, I noticed she had a bulging eye, much like a goldfish. So, that's when I rushed her in for the necessary meds. Dr Jose dismissed my concerns and diagnosed her with a "bee sting" even though I explained that she was inside and earlier had an obvious infection. I asked if I could please have the medicine to treat an eye ulcer/infection because it is my experience with Persians that is what she had. I also explained the importance of treating immediately or she could lose her eye! With babies this small it's important to be proactive and treat ASAP!! He again dismissed me and said he would NOT PRESCRIBE MEDS as he felt she didn't need them, but if the swelling didn't go down by morning I could come back in to get meds. Needless to say, the unnecessary shot of Benadryl did absolutely nothing to help her ulcer/eye infection. So the next day I went back in for the meds. When I voiced my opinion about Dr Jose's "MISDIAGNOSIS"... one of the vet techs said "I should have been thankful he was even able to get me in." I explained that I was thankful, but his error could have cost my baby her eye! Had I not been an experience breeder who has seen this in Persians before she probably would be blind right now. Today as I opened my mail, I received a letter from Peacable Kingdom advising me that my account was closed with their office and I was no longer welcome to bring my babies back!! Apparently, voicing your concerns about a misdiagnosis and questioning one of the temporary fill in doctors is NOT ALLOWED. Based on this situation and the way I've been treated and someone pationate about the health and wellbeing of my babies, I would NOT RECOMMEND PEACABLE KINGDOM TO ANYONE anymore!! I'm extremely disappointed and know this was the action of the snarky vet tech that was interacting with the receptionist. The receptionist was rolling her eyes at the tech the entire time and even said, "you are just worried about your baby. Understandable why you would be upset." The picture of the healthy eye is after visiting another vet and getting the CORRECT meds to treat an eye ulcer/infection which is exactly what she had.😻 Don't even waste your time or money going here if you have a sick fur baby or need surgery. Just go directly to Lititz and see the best VETERINARIANS in Lancaster County. I will happily drive the extra distance and YOU should too!

I would give 5 stars for their care is great, but they are so expensive. I guess everywhere is. It makes it very hard for animal lovers to be able to afford to have them as cherished members of their family. That is very sad to me.

I’m horribly dissatisfied with this facility. My 11 yr old, blind poodle has a green discharge coming from her eye. The vet is concerned as well, and want to see my dear Roxy. In 3 weeks. UNBELIEVABLE!! What compassionate vet makes a blind animal wait 3 weeks to be seen? They will not refill her eye ointment without an office visit, and I understand this. The 3 week wait is unacceptable. I called another vet that I used a decade ago, and they are seeing Roxy today. I will never come back to Peaceable Kingdom again.

We have been bringing our pets here for many years. Brought our cat, Jerry, in today for a sick visit. Dr Paul is the epitome of a vet who truly cares about the animals he treats and the people who bring them in. Knowledgeable. Never feel rushed. Our vet tech, Olivia, was fantastic. Great interaction with Jerry and myself. Even carried Jerry out for me. And, when I called in later for a food prescription, Hallie was very helpful and friendly. Truly the best experience. Thank you.

I have seen Dr. Paul and other vets within the practice about my dogs seizures since February. The were only a month apart until October when they were every week. Once November hit my dog's seizures got progressively worse. I couldn't call peaceable since they're only in 4 days a week. Plus their scheduling puts you out many weeks. I tried Furdunkin but they referred me to PETS emergency vet since my fur baby had 10+ seizures in a day. Ultimately it was in my fur babies best interest to be euthanized. I wish the vets at peaceable animal would've told me of the potential of a brain tumor. Now I am seriously looking for another vet with at least Monday to Friday hours!

I’ve been using this hospital for the last few years. I fully trust them with all my babies. All of their doctors are professional and understanding and their nursing and reception staff genuinely care and treat my babies like their own. When my pets have needed more specialized care they’ve always referred me to the best people out there for continuing care. I won’t go any place else and highly recommend them to everyone I know.

What kind of vet refuses to see a 15 yr old sick dog just because he's behind on a vaccine. It's outrageous! They absolutely refused to see him. I agreed to having him get his vaccine after he had been treated.(rabies vaccine) I was told he needed vaccinated first!! That he could not be seen without it. Only After my husband called upset ,did they agree to see him before vaccinated. He's 15 years old!! And has breathing issues, he's a pug mix. We have been taking our Pets there since the day it opened, like 30 years or more. Love Dr Paul! Also Dr Murphy, who treated another dog who is filled with tumors. Im not sure what has changed in this facility!I have Never been treated in this way. So your response is not accurate! If you hadn't refused to see him in the first place, all of this would have been avoided! My dog has been a patient his whole life!

The entire staff go above and beyond for not only your animals but you as well. My dog Apollo is sick and they gave me a work note so I could be home with him and monitor any adverse reactions from the meds! Pretty sure it was the first time they have ever done that lol and it was the first time my job ever got an excuse from a vet. It made the worlds difference that I could be home with my baby and pamper him til he feels better! The Shaeffer family loves Peaceable Kingdom!!! Thank you for all you do!!! 💙

I am so disappointed in Peaceable Kingdom. We have been a client with them for 25+ years and was just shown loyalty gets you no where. I called and left a message for a concern with my dog. I had to call back after an hour to talk with someone about making an appointment for her to be seen. Told them the situation and was told the earliest she could be seen is 1 1/2 weeks. UNACCEPTABLE. So much for the animals best interest and health!

Top notch customer service. It was my first time bringing my cats to this vet and they were beyond amazing. They were so accommodating to get my pets seen fast. Dr. Gondek was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell he truly cares for the well being of your pets. I cannot say enough good things about the staff here.

not the least bit impressed. they stuck a needle in him 4 time to draw blood. mad his nails bleed trimming them. and the absolute worst part friday they left me voice mail that my boy had significant issues and wouldnt leave that in voice mail. i called two minutes later and no response. and they did say vet would call after 4pm friday. no phone call nothing. has me crying about this all weekend

My elderly mother had taken her 2 young male cats here, and the initial visits were great and very reasonable. However, when she made appointments to have both neutered, the fee would have been over $1200 for 2 cats! That's an absurd amount of money for a procedure that literally takes minutes and involves a few snips. Even my more expensive Vet charges far less. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here for neutering or spaying. Their prices are absolute highway robbery.

We adopted an adult female, feral cat and started with her not eating after we had her about 2 weeks, Found she had some gum and teeth issues and they worked to get her better. We ended up taking her in for surgery and found they only remove one major tooth, it could have been all of them. Two days later and we have our girl back and she is doing great.The doctor explained everything as we went along, called me after the surgery was done and scheduled a time to pick her up. The explained the process after we took her home and have been more than helpful.Very happy to find people that care/

I just wanted to share how kind and caring Dr. Paul and his staff is. I have a 2 year & 8 month old American Eskimo named Kevin. He has been suffering with eye infections for a few months. We thought it was getting better, but it’s come back worse than before probably from him scratching at it. (Time for an E-collar.) Kevin has showed signs of severe aggression with Dr. Paul in the past so we thought we would try a new vet who is female because Kevin seems to do better with females than males. Well, that new vet couldn’t see him for two weeks. After going through the process of switching records over and setting up that appointment, Kevin’s eyes just kept getting worse. After the first week, I just couldn’t wait any longer, so I called Peaceable Kingdom and explained everything to them. In speaking with them, we planned on tranquilizing Kevin with medication for an appointment the following day. However, after a short time, they called me back and said that Dr. Paul could review pictures and get me medicine right away instead of waiting and instead of having him tranquilized and anxious during an appointment. I’m so exceedingly grateful for the problem solving and care that went into that decision. They truly care about the welfare of the animal and the family. I’m hoping this round of medicine will do the trick and Kevin will be all better soon. They even said we could send an updated picture in a week to save Kevin from another anxious appointment. My family sends lots of love to the Staff at Peaceable Kingdom and Dr. Paul.

This is as good a veterinary clinic as you will find. Dr. Gondek has treated my older Cairn terrier for sarcoma as well as other issues. The surgery he performed on our beloved Eddie we believe has added years to his life. He has also responded quickly to issues Eddie has had with his digestive system, which sometimes goes out of balance. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic.

Very nice veterinary clinic with very kind and compassionate people. I had an emergency situation with my pet and no other veterinarians would help me and the emergency vet, blue pearl, just wanted to rob me of my money. By the luck of God one very wonderful tech person reached out to me to let me know about this place and they actually were able to get me in the same day since they got a new vet on board. I am hoping that they are still excepting new patients as this would be my new veterinarian for all my pets.

Updating a recent 1 star review to 4 stars. While I did have an unpleasant experience recently with a member of the staff, Carrie (manager) reached out to personally discuss what had happened and assured me the situation had been addressed. I do truly appreicate her reaching out. While I only had my dog here once before she passed, the remaining members of the staff and Dr. Paul do seem to be very good. I wouldn't not recommend them based off of one employee maybe having a bad day. Thanks again, Carrie.

They have always provided great care at a reasonable price. But it was over the past week that have really impressed me with the practice. My dog was in renal failure and Dr. Paul offered options after taking 15 minutes to explain the blood work to me as a walk in. The staff was incredibly caring as we tried treatment. When the decision was made to stop treatment because she was doing worse there was no pressure and they offered great support to me and my family. Thank you so much to everyone at Peaceable Kingdom for making a really rough week as gentile as possible.

They're great for regular check ups. But they cannot help you if you're pet has even a minor emergency. You can't get an appointment for weeks no matter what.

Years ago we took in a stray cat and we have been taking her to this vet since then. The doctor and staff here are always so caring with our cat even though she's an outside cat and sometimes can be challenging (and messy!). They love animals here and treat them with compassion. We appreciate that they are always looking to do what is best for our cat, even though we cannot afford to get any expensive treatments for her.
