I needed a pipe joint for my kitchen sink. I'm not too savvy with plumbing but the gentlemen were very helpful with helping me find the proper piece and the lady at checkout was super friendly too.

The one-star review wasn't a threat, but a promise. This is an evaluation of the store owner's/manager's level of friendliness and professionalism, not their coupon policy. I simply asked the manager/owner to honor a $5.00 coupon that another associate (who I spoke to previously) promised me they would accept when I came in. He couldn't believe I had the audacity to ask them to honor their word, and immediately became defensive/argumentative, which included accusations of "bullying" a local business. If they consider this honest/accurate review "bullying" they should take their business to a snowflake-friendly state like California. Save yourself time and money - do business with other reputable and locally-owned hardware stores, including Ace (just not this location).

We went to Key Aid Ace Hardware to purchase a Weber grill. The guy that was on duty for that department was awesome! He answered all my questions very well! I don't know how the folks in the rest of the store are, but I definitely recommend this place for grills. They had an excellent selection of Weber gas grills and Trager pellet grill/smokers. Also a small selection of humorous home decor

Awesome store. If you haven't check ACE hardware out for yourself it's time you do... Wide array of products too many to list. Today I was shopping for paint which they mixed to the color I wanted and helped me select the paint I needed for the application I was using it. Very helpful and knowledgeable friendly staff. I'm a repeat customer.

My husband ordered a grill on Saturday. It arrived sooner than expected. Delmar delivered it and was super friendly. He carefully brought it through our home since we do not have direct backyard access. We really appreciate the exceptional level of customer service, especially during the holiday season when everyone is very busy. I appreciate the store associates for showing us the model that was on sale, rather then trying to push us to buy a more expensive one. Ace truly is the helpful place, and we appreciate that the business motto is upheld.

I went to the store to get a clear coat for a furniture project I had done that I used a decal.. while explaining what I was looking for to the paint department and why I needed it ( my decal wasn't adhering securely to the rounded corners of the furniture) the store associate, Matt recommended I try using a hair dryer on the decal since they aren't meant for non flat surfaces. He said if that doesn't work then come back and buy the clear coat and invest the time. WALLA it worked! so happy for the advise and not the push on the sale. He earned my respect which will keep me coming back! Sales are about relationships with customers, He worked on building the relationship which will get him the future sales! Thanks for the great customer service!

Usually a solid place, customer service has been dipping lately. Went to purchase an Ego trimmer on a Saturday afternoon. While reading reviews of the trimmer online (on my phone) I noticed another store had it $30 cheaper, asked if they would price match. The employee after consultation with another employee stated they would, but a manager would need to be on site “for the key”. Per the employees, that would require me to return Monday during the day. Which is not a possibility for me.Left without purchasing the unit, went down the street to Agway, they were kind enough to search the back inventory for the model I requested, and not only price matched me on the spot, but offered to put it together for me before I left.

We had just moved to PA from NJ and we had natural gas put in for our Weber Grill and when we went to hook it up the hose did not fit the gas pipe. We went everywhere to find a coupling that would fit the hose to pipe. Finally a neighbor of ours told us about Key Aid Ace in Ephrata that they just happened to stop in and they were so helpful in getting the right attachments even suggesting to use a shut off valve connection, so my husband and I called over to Key Aid and spoke to Elliot an associate who was so kind enough to prepare the connection for us and when we arrived he had it all together for us. I was so impressed with having such a caring person go out of their way to help us get it resolved. This is truly an example of the way it used to be, when your neighborhood hardware store treated you like family. I cannot give Elliot enough accolades for being so kind and considerate.

An older employee would not leave me alone. I kept thanking him and turning away and he kept hovering and asking what I was doing. He took over and started grabbing stuff for me. He got me so flustered I just bought what he gave me. It was not at all what I needed. Took me two minutes in Paul B to grab what I needed.
