The CVS Pharmacy is not good. Number one if Margarita ever leaves you might as well close the place. She is the one person that has a upbeat personality and great way about her. The rest seem like it is a bother to be there. Secondly, prescriptions are never ready when promised. You order the night before automated says it will be ready by 11am , go over after 3pm the next day and still not prepared. I am extremely disappointed with the pharmacy.

Let me start by saying I don't write these like ever. So this isn't for CVS it's self it's for one individual working in the pharmacy her name was Mona I believe not sure if that's correct but I called several times trying to get my son's diabetes medicine for his sensor he has type 1 anyway she took the time to go through what she could and got it done for me and saved me a lot even tho previous calls where so well difficult to be precise thanks Mona if that is correct its refreshing to have some one be helpful.

I called FROM A HOSPITAL to call in a script for a patient and the VERY rude tech there (I don't know his name, he spoke with a heavy accent) told me that he ERASED a previous message from my hospital and belittled and berated me that NO ONE should ever accept the called-in prescription. He said that I'd have to fax it or send it with the patient. I asked for the fax number and hung up on him. He was an absolute jerk. I put notes in our system to NEVER call in to that pharmacy and to send clients elsewhere. He's GREAT for your business

Horrible customer service. They confirmed they received a prescription and the pre-approval and will fill it ASAP. Two days later they literally lose EVERYTHING and have no record of any of it in their system. INCREDIBLY INCOMPETENT pharmacy. Don't waste your time.

I absolutely hate this store.This pharmacy sucks eggs. I waited 40 minutes to pick up one medication for my wife in the drive-thru. This is mismanagement and gross incompetence at the highest level for a pharmacy. I will never pick up a medication for my wife again at this despicable poorly poorly run business.

I would rate this pharmacy with -500 stars if I could! They don’t treat there customers nice at all waited close to three hours to get my prescription filled then they said they didn’t have enough and sent me to Weis waited there a very long time for them to send the prescription over! Tried to call them on the phone a person soon came on and said wait a minute and left me on the phone for half an hour without picking up! Finally got my prescription so hung up! Was not at all impressed! Don’t know where there lovely customer service is!

I’d give a negative star if I could!!! This place is an absolute JOKE. Told me 15 minutes, expedited, for my 2 prescriptions. 45 minutes later, they call my name. The RUDE and straight DISRESPECTFUL pharmacist, Inoussa, proceeds to THROW my medicine on the counter at me and then SLAMS my change down and walks away. When I approached another associate on my way out about his behavior, she replied “oh well I wish there was something we could do”. I asked who the general manager was and if she would be in tomorrow morning. She replies “Sharon and I have no clue when she’s coming in again”. I don’t care if I am DYING, I will never set foot in here again!!!!

Needed a prescription & was told it would take 2+ hours! A simple drug, Augmentin. The pharmacist was on the register & did nothing else. CVS, just close your doors! No concern for customers, rude, understaffed, and lazy. Called my new pharmacy & script was ready within MINUTES!

They need to learn how to hire more employees for the pharmacy because you always have to wait 20 minutes for the prescriptions when they say they’re ready and they’re never ready.. this place needs better management asap

This place is literally a waste of space, if you’re not waiting 30 minutes in line at cvs you’re waiting 45 on the phone. The pharmacist is horrible he never lets you finish your sentence and he will gladly interrupt you and let’s not forget that he broke my dads debit card and tried to hide it in the receipt without saying anything, get better employees or shut ts down.

I don't know why I torture myself by bothering to even come here! The long lines through the drive-thru and inside aren't even the biggest problem, it's them actually finding your medicine from the doctor! Most of the people working here need a lesson on people skills. NEVER AGAIN, even if there's a fire!

Horrible pharmacy! I had the pharmacist argue with me over a prescription when it literally said on the bottle "take one in the morning and at 2pm". He stated that it meant one pill a day. Changed pharmacies so I can actually have the correct medication and quantity.

Ever since COVID, this place has gone downhill. Before that, no complaints. I personally have not experienced rude employees. They have been polite but you can tell they’re running on empty. My complaint is the amount of time you have to wait for prescriptions. I constantly use the drive-thru as I have several kids and it’s easier to keep them in the car but can wait in line for 30+ minutes. Going inside isn’t much better either. When you’re sick and your doctor prescribes you something, you shouldn’t have to wait an entire day or longer to get it.I’m not sure what the issue is. Lack of employees? Over amount of orders? Whatever it is, it needs fixed.

This CVS location is terrible. It doesn't even deserve one star. Our daughter's insurance coverage changed so when my husband went to go pick up her antibiotic today he presented them with her new card so that her prescription would be sent through the insurance. The person who was helping him refused to take the card from him. He tried to explain it was new, she still refused and he backed down and just paid, got the script and came home. Once home, we looked at the attached paper on the stapled bag and sure enough, just like we assumed, it didn't go through the insurance because they didn't have the correct info because she refused to even take the card from my husband.i called CVS immediately and after a good 5mins I finally got a live person. I explained the entire thing to her and thankfully she was able to get a refund for us by putting in the insurance info. Yes, the problem got resolved after I laid into them but the reality is, it shouldn't have had to come down to that because the lady should've taken the card from my husband. It was pure laziness. I wish I could say that was the first issue we've had with this particular location but it isn't. If you can go somewhere else, do it. Don't bother with this location.

I was treated horribly by a pharmacist whom I've never met in my previous 15yrs a customer there just 2 days ago. She refused to fill my medication because she said she could even though my insurance paid for them and my dr approved it she told me she can decide when to fill them and she won't do it till 2 days later. Even though I was standing right there, it was filled and ready and I have that proof too. She was so unkind I went home and struggled with my anxiety horribly. This happened just 2 days ago on Wednesday July 12, 2023

Literally worst pharmacy. Super rude and clueless employees. Plus they move at a snails pace.And they turn off their phone lines when busy so don’t try calling to get through, they don’t answer. I was on hold for an hour then came in and called again while in line and there was no “pharmacy call on line one” or ANYTHING. Do yourself a favor and switch pharmacies. I’m going to.

Pharmacy is horrible. Waited 45 minutes to get to the window, then they tell you they don’t have your medication?? Was told to wait another 15 minutes before they can refill your medication. Horrible service.

Terrible policies, long wait times, I have monthly prescriptions and every time I come they say 15-20 minutes after waiting in line for 20-30 minutes already. I have been on the phone with my Dr and then my health insurance company and both can give me the time stamp, while in the system that they can see the pharmacist is lying about receiving the prescription in order to buy more time and get you out of the line. The only reason I am giving any stars at all is their customer service is usually extremely friendly and helpful/understanding. CVS management DO BETTER support your employees and serve your community in a way that is helpful. People who need medicine do not. need more frustration when they are sick. Cooperate Office DO BETTER!!!!

Dear CVS Ephrata! Please train your pharmacy staff to not to be rude with your valued and loyal customers!!! The rudest CVS staff I've ever deal with!!! The one who answered the phone call just now in pharmacy, she seem having too much problem at home and she's taking it to the customers she will talk with! So sad I was one of those customers who needs to deal with this B.S. Pharmacy staff! She's lucky I forgot to ask her name! So disappointing!

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. I moved to the area from Philadelphia in September and used this pharmacy 4 times so far. Luckily I work in healthcare otherwise they would have killed me. My blood pressure medication was filled incorrectly and no one contacted to apologize after I reported it. Second time, I was told my husband’s medication wasn’t covered under my insurance. I asked the pharmacy tech to run it through the insurance. she told me it’s not covered, see the noted that printed out. I had to fight with her for 5 minutes to run the insurance. Guess what, it was covered. Wanted me to pay $80 for a medication that was .75 cent. And on top of that, I get home and they filled this prescription incorrect as well. Now we are currently waiting for 4 medications that his doctor sent over around 9:15a and it’s now 3:59p. Once I was able to get someone on the phone, I was told I would have it expedited. This is there famous line. The young lady told me there were 3 days behind. This is insane. I’ve been with CVS for years in Philadelphia PA, Bensalem PA, and Media PA and never experienced anything like this. Word of advice, check all your medications and make sure you know what your doctor has prescribed to you. We are currently searching for another pharmacy.

Tried to pick up a RX today and was told to wait 15 minutes. fine. whatever. i give them 30 minutes and when i get the register, the lady tells me to wait another 15 minutes. if she just took a damn minute to look and ask she would have known it was finished. made me go to someone else who told me it was done but told me to get back in line. they make me back in line. lady doesnt even check out my other items. she rings it up without even saying anything and then proceeds to tell me its my fault. little to be desired with these people who obviously dont care.

The drive through is nice but one of the workers at the drive through is so slow. I've had to wait for more than 30 min multiple times just for 3 cars infront of me. It's so much faster to go inside.

Zero stars for customer service. Somehow my specialty medicine got lost. After waiting on hold for 23 minutes to get anyone to answer the phone, I was given a phone number to call, that isn't even open. It's a super important timed medicine that must be taken this evening and I told the pharmacy that. Absolutely insane......Second time now they have miss placed my medication. When I first called I was told to call specialty pharmacy without anyone even checking for the medication. The women on the phone was very rude. After two hours of phone tag the medication was found in the store.

Being forced to use CVS by my insurance company is infuriating. In addition to the long waits, rude staff, them hanging up on you if they bother to answer your call, they recently gave me medication I wasn't prescribed, for a prostrate problem. I don't have a prostrate. Every time, It's a fight to get your medication. I never have this problem elsewhere. But I can't go elsewhere because the free market doesn't exist.

Came in to print a document that I needed, could not connect to their device, and the employee did not know how to resolve the problem. They offer the service to print documents, and then employee told me they don’t have the paper to do so and they don’t do that service, and if I were to print it I would pay more and it be on a photo paper. Why offer service that you don’t deliver on???? Logic left the chat.

Horrible customer service. I had a perscription sent in Saturday night. I finally went Monday at noon to pick it up and I'm told they had to order it and that I was sent a text. I never recieved a text, she repeated the number back to me, was wrong by one number so I said no thats not my number. Gave her my number and she snapped back that's the number she said. I'm like ok thats fine so when will it be ready. She tells me ready by tomorrow, Tuesday. I repeat back so tomorrow for sure and she said yes. I arrive Tuesday morning and I'm now told it won't be ready til after 5. I told them I was not made aware of that I was just told Tuesday. Now she offers to see if another pharmacy has it, I said I wasn't given this option yesterday! And yes both days I dealt with the same lady. Horrible service, no compassion that my child needed this perscription asap. Go elsewhere

My wife went to fill a prescription for amoxicillin. They said we are out. You can call around to other pharmacies. So my wife calls Walmart and the lady there said she needs to talk to someone from CVS, but she said they are a nightmare. It probably won't be quick. Do yourself a favor. Get your doctor to call your prescription elsewhere.

I called to check on a prescription. I was on hold for over 15 minutes. Good thing it wasn’t an emergency. I’m not blaming the workers there. They’re usually swamped. I blame it on corporate greed. Corporate policy is to understaff the stores so as to keep corporate profits up. (Bigger bonuses for the big wigs.) Meanwhile, there aren’t enough staff to answer the phones.Somehow, I don’t think the big wigs give ahoot.Follow-up: Service has gotten better. It helps to have the CVS app on your phone. It’s easy to check on the status of your prescription via the app.Follow-up: I now have the CVS app on my phone. It automatically sends me an email letting me know my prescription is ready for pick up. If you deal with CVS a good bit, I’d suggest you get their app.

This is literally the worst pharmacy one could ever go to. Nothing is ever ready when they say it’s going to be ready, it takes forever to fill anything, and there’s constantly a line. If you call, you’re on hold for at least 10minutes. The other day I was told told to wait 20 minutes for something to be filled, i waited 25 minutes and then waited in line to check if it was ready yet just to be told that it was out of stock. But it was assured the medication would be ordered and i could pick it up tomorrow. The next day came and i called to see if it was there and it wasn’t because “it wasn’t ordered.” But should be there the next day. Someday I’ll get the medicine I’m prescribed, hopefully. There couldn’t be a more frustrating and terrible experience.
