Wanted to love AB Martin and I did until I placed a $4,300 lumber order. It was delivered with a lot of scrap, unusable lumber. I tried to return 28 of the worst pieces for replacement. The rude person I spoke with said “you can’t return it, we can’t pick through it for you and we can’t return it”Sorry, your customers shouldn’t have to accept your scrap. Eventually, somebody approved the return and the rude guy told me “next time go to Home Depot. We don’t need your business.”I went to AB Martin to support a local lumber yard and paid a premium thinking I’d get better quality.Thanks to this one person I’ll never step foot in that store again. Pictures don’t fully convey how bad this split, checked, gouged AND moldy lumber really was. 1/2 star is more appropriate.

Had metal roofing delivered to my home and the delivery went very smoothly. My delivery driver’s name was “Randy” and he was so nice and pleasant to speak with. Definitely would recommend to anyone getting anything done to there home to go through AB Martin.

Placed a small order of steel siding at 8am and ready for pick-up by lunch. Very impressed with the service outside in the yard. They have definitely put a lot of thought into getting orders pulled and loaded in a timely manner. Keep up the good work!

Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean well-organized store and Yard.There's no way some of these 1-star reviews are legit, based on my experiences doing business here.Happy to be doing business with a local business and not huge chain stores that sends most of it profits to wall street bankers...They do seem very busy in yard at times, but that is also a sign of how many people like them! No one likes food out of an empty restaurant!

I have gotten a fair amount of metal roofing here. They are extremely fast at turn around from ordering time. Usually same day! The salesmen do a great job with customer service, usually reply to emails with in 10 minutes. They have a huge selection of tools as well and lots of other times for the home. Great hardware store and place to shop for home improvement.

Great Customer Service and products. If you are a contractor in need of a supply company , look no further. We have been getting all our building products from them for years and have yet to be disappointed. Their Metal Trims are always exact unlike so many other companies. And their turn around time is unbeatable. Having our own salesman , Sheldon, assigned to us is the best. He seems to personally have experience in the construction field as he is always extremely quick to pick up on what we need and has even been known to catch simple items we missed on our materials list.😄

By far the most difficult building supply vendor around to do business with.They tell you to follow their systems to get served and when their systems Fall apart you are a blame for attempting to do business with them.I imagine that larger orders are easier to be served because they're worth more but sitting waiting for three pieces of quarter round as others that cut in line are served for isn't worth the wait.

In past had nothing but great to say about them. Now they are a dirty company to their customers especially the little man. My husband and i had bought and PAID for and an order, was picking it up 3 days later. Get a phone call day before pickup and was told not enough to fill my order. They filled a bigger order that came in after my order. This tells be they have know respect for the little man or non contractor customers. All they care about is money. However I the only star they deserve goes to the salesman that was honest to me.

I picked up a small order of lumber and drywall on Saturday. I had put the order in ahead of time, picked up my screws and bits, went to the counter to pay, and was ready to head out to the yard in less than 10 minutes. The yard guys had already pulled and carefully banded together my order (special care had been given to the drywall), and I only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a forklift to bring it around. They’re pretty busy on Saturdays, but the yard guy was extra helpful. He even helped me hand load my truck since I didn’t think to bring a trailer. Overall, very happy with the service and quality of the materials.

This place caters to and is frequented by the construction trade crowd.Having said that, I have gone here for supplies to rebuild a deck and several plumbing projects. I often need a little advice about these projects and the staff is always very helpful, patient and knowledgeable and often make suggestions about different options on plumbing adapters or better ways to do the job. And they don't talk down to you just because you're not a pro or a high volume customer. They also rented me a crimp tool on a couple occasions.Store is very clean, modern and organized with a great selection of products. Highly recommended!

This place has very good Lumber . Lumber very very good clean Lumber. Even if plywood is top-notch high grade materials. They do also make metal building panels there on site if needed custom wits or height or length. How many colors in stock ready to be made or pick from panels that are already previously manufactured there. Awesome selection of hand tools and all accessories for construction

Extremely slow loading customers up it was beyond ridiculous how long you have to wait. The forklift operators are definitely not in any hurry probably waited 20 minutes along with a whole line of people. It was ridiculous to say the least

Tons of hardware, tools, lumber, metal, nuts, bolts, washers, wiring, and lights; a HUGE selection. If you're a contractor or even a regular guy who sticks to easy jobs and need supplies or tools to start, work on, or complete your project, then this is definitely a solid contender for a local one-stop-shop. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean and organized. Prices are in-line with other supply stores in the area; some things are higher and others are lower etc.
