An old Weis store. Not very well stocked. Brandon, the young man that handles the outside parking lot duties, is a very pleasant worker there, a lot of their staff should learn that there. Parking lot is like the Indy 500, way too many careless drivers there.

Really nice store with a lot of fresh food. A bit more expensive than other stores like redners, but the food seems to be in good condition. The store is organized, clean and smells good. They also have self checkout lines to make life easy for you.

I only go here if I need something urgently. I have not had any bad experiences with staff. I feel it is important for me to state the validity of some of the negative reviews. I know someone who got hired and went through all of the training to find out that behind the scenes things are very disorganized, and this person was extremely disheartened and demotivated by having other employees tell them they should not take proper safety and sanitary measures because nobody else does. Sounds like a management problem to me. & it’s your loss, Weis, you could have had probably the best manager ever if you had better procedures and accountability. I do not want to call your customer service line so please do not give it to me; it’s listed on many negative reviews below, and you’d think with so many serious complaints about food safety this would be addressed by now. Please do better. Do something about the issue and be proactive. I’m upset for this person I spoke of because they were very excited to start their job until they realized nobody cares about things that should be done properly to begin with. You aren’t going to keep top performers if they don’t have the environment and tools to thrive. Semi-decent pay is not worth the stress of fighting an uphill battle for things to be done right when obviously those in charge do not hold employees accountable.

This was a quick in & out trip. The store is a smaller Weis, but I like that, because you don't have far travel. It is set up nicely, utilizing its size well. Clean & decorated nicely, making it inviting.

Pretty disappointing experience here. Flies everywhere in the bakery area, produce rotting with a ton of fruit flies in plain view, and strong smell of food gone bad as soon as you enter the store. Could use with a health inspection as management doesn't seem to be keeping up with quality and safety.

You can still find good deals here, even on produce and dairy, despite prices going up. Located in a fairly small neighborhood, it's usually not too busy. Staff are excellent and the store is always cleaned and stocked. The traffic light at the exit is often busy and difficult to turn left, so try looping through the Wawa parking lot across the street for an easier right turn.

I went into Weis last night for a few items (i rarely go into this store because they never have what i am looking for), went down the frozen aisle with the ice cream and almost fell because there was a mess on the floor of melted ice cream. No employee protecting the area or nothing there to warn customers about the mess while paper towels were gotten. It was just a white slop sitting on the white floor. Extremely dangerous situation and irresponsible on the stores part for not making sure it was protected. Thankfully an elderly person didn't slip, fall, and get hurt. I did slip on it and it was easily missed on the floor. Hopefully this store will be more responsible, cautious, and take customers safety into consideration when it comes to slips, trips, and falls.

Extremely disappointed. Started shopping at Weis 5 - 6 years ago and was happy with purchases. They had SE Asian items that more local stores did not carry. Fruits & vegetables were fresh and they had a decent deli and "sweet shop".However, here we are today and this is the last time I will step foot in that store again. Went shopping last Tuesday and all the items I normally shopped there for were gone. Had made three previous trips, thinking they may have been out of stock, but no, many SE Asian items were no longer being carried.Found one Indian item in the frozen section, purchased that and a small piece of salmon from the seafood department, in addition to other staples.Wednesday, was getting ready to try the Indian item and noticed the expiration date: It was ONE YEAR past expiration. Expiry on the box was Feb 26, 2022. I called Weis asking them to check dates for the shrimp item and to pull the remaining stock. The next day, Thursday, I decide to cook the salmon... whoa! the stench was horrendous. I only pulled back the corner and immediately put it in another plastic bag and into the freezer to return that along with the expired shrimp. So, here we are on Friday, after returning the two items. The man who was working the Customer Service desk, has to be the most unfriendly and rude Weis employee I've ever encountered. He looked at the frozen shrimp item with a blank stare. I thought he was joking around and asked if he saw the Feb 26, 2022 date and looked at me as though I was to blame, asking when I purchased it. I said a couple days ago. He then looked at the salmon and asked, "What's wrong?" I suggested he smell it and he gave me a look that was more foul than the salmon.NORMALLY, when customers return items that are expired or spoiled, employees tend to apologize for the error - but not this guy. He was determined to be as miserable as possible. Not that Weis will care, but they lost a steady customer today and will stick with Giant and Redner's after this, where employees and owners actually CARE about their customers and treat them with respect. As a closing statement, their prices are also much higher than Giant or Redner's, for lesser quality items.TO: WEISS - Don't bother adding a, "We're sorry", comment after my post. If anyone thinks a public apology and a number to call is a solution, you are dead wrong. Treat your customers with courtesy and respect - in person - and teach your employees to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES on food items.

Smaller Weis grocery store focusing on excellent customer service and offering a variety of foods. Bus stops outside and there are plenty of parking spaces. Custom cakes, online orders and loading are just many of the "standard" services which this store offers.

I have been shopping here daily for the past 15yrs. Not once have I ever had to show ID when buying Musinex, cashier usually asks and puts in my date of birth. Today that was a no guy. Mind you, I'm not complaining about having to show my ID but I haven't in the past and they kept saying it's the law. They should be fined for all the times they didn't ask for my ID!!!! I then go to the Mgr. desk and given a hard time.

Very nice store. Nice people. Always welcome to help and serve. Self check are annoying. It jump down your throat. If is was an employee treating me this way I would report to the management. I try to use a cashier but find that they have 1 or 2 only available.

i live in emmaus and shop here out of convenience and no other reason. Ive had to get in the habit of checking product dates in the store as i regularly buy items only to get them home and realize they are weeks out of date. i thought it would help but ive also bought in-date products, got them home to use them, but they’re already going bad.this leads me to believe they are not being refrigerated properly at the store. so disgusting. ive wasted so much money on food from this store ive had to throw out. this has happened multiple times in just the past two weeks alone. i should start adding up the amount of money i waste from unknowingly buying spoiled food from this store.

I do not want to check myself out while one of your employees stands there and watches me. Self check is OK for a few items but not a full cart. I stop in here if I need some staples. I shop at Wegman's for the quality and customer service.

Two days before Christmas, the store was crowded as expected and yet I had 2 amazingly friendly and helpful encounters with staff, first in the deli department and then at the self check-out. Both women were proactive and cheerful, prompting me to write my first google review ever!

In a pinch, they are close and convenient. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful but more than a couple are in a daze and have to be approached for help. Prices are decent and store is clean. Bakery is good and produce is well stocked with regulars and some organics. They even have some appliances, outdoor furniture and I even bought my child a low priced wooden wagon here. Just shy of 5 stars.

I am from Coopersburg and we lost our Weis store 2 years ago. I stopped in to Weis on Chestnut Street and it was great !! They carry many things I can only find at Weis. Very helpful staff and shelves are stocked. Fresh produce and excellent bakery.

Good parking with multiple entrances including a traffic light at the corner. Had all the CV-19 sanitation stations with all customers and staff wearing masks. Well organized, friendly and helpful service. Quick check out with both self service and checkers.
