I'm pretty sure every dollar general in Ellwood City has a ""Hire only meth heads" policy. Or at best, maybe a "Let's not actually hire anyone even though every Dollar General has a sign posted in their front doors that says "NOW HIRING" policy

This store barely has their shelves stocked. Not much room to walk around, the aisles are way too small. The self checkout only takes cash, and the other register usually has technical issues every time I’ve came in. The girls that are working aren’t that friendly or helpful either. I make the drive all the way to the Wampum location. It’s my favorite DG around Ellwood.

Love my dollar general. Store is very clean and staff is wonderful ! In and out and has everything from pet supplies to oil for the car. Need bread , milk or dozen eggs ? One stop shop for almost household needs !

The past couple weeks they have had several isles closed and the ones themat are open are full of stock to be shelved. There's no room to move threw the store. And I even had an employee basically shoo me out of an isle because she needed to bring another load out to sit in an isle. EVERY customer complained how they could barely walk threw the store. Not only is it safety hazard but it also makes it almost impossible for customers to shop. The entire middle section and back section were clogged 4 lanes closed and about 1 maybe 2 sections didn't have stock boxes sitting in the way. They should only bring out what they are able to stock in the moment so as to be able to let customers still be able to shop.

Blonde was pretending to run register until there is actual work to be done. She literally walked away to complain about the bathroom! Absolutely useless! Poor older lady running register number one was only one doing anything... Doubt I am coming back to this location again.

This Dollar General is always clean. The shelves are usually full. A day after Easter and most of their Easter things were already gone.

My husband and my kids and I are here atleast a dozen times a week grabbing something or another and usually have a good experience. Usually, but I guess that depends on which employees they have working. Some employees make the experience a five star and some of the employees shouldn't even be working with the public. They are rude and disrespectful, not just once but 90 percent of the time and wouldn't even get one star.

Not only is this store a wreck, but the employee's that work here, are rude, and leave latters, boxes, and more sitting around in the aisles! I have fallen, HARD, in this store twice now, and I now, refuse to ever return to this store ever again!! Each time I fell in this store, it was when I tripped over large items, that the employees had left in the aisles. The first time was on a latter, the 2nd time was on a large rolling cart, that was filled with the items that were being restocked on the shelves! Both times I had fallen, no one even came to help me, even though I was the only customer in the store, and my falls were so hard. I fell into the shelves, knocking items all off. My head was split open, and bleeding with one fall. I couldn't even get the employees, to write up an incident report. So, I just walked right out of the store after asking for help, and the only thing the employees did was, give me dirty looks. It's horribly disappointing...I used to spend AALLOOTTT of money at Dollar General, and I'm to the point where I'm done with all Dollar General stores.

The Dollar General is actually a great place to shop if you just need to pick up your basic needs and if you're using digital coupons you actually get a better deal than it Walmart. There's not a lot of variety when it comes to the ice cream or dairy but there's enough there to fill the need

There's usually only one person working so you have to wait to be checked out. Most employees aren't very nice. This is one of the dirtiest, run down stores I have ever been in. I go out of my way to avoid this DG.

Employees will talk behind your back after you leave without knowing a single thing about you! Very unprofessional and rude. Complaints have been made to corporate and the manager on duty.

My husband and I asked my daughter to see of they had a product in the back and was givin a remark back with an attitude. The one that did that was the one on floor not the cashier. She was also swearing in front of the customers.

Absolutely HATE coming to this store. The parking is terrible and the isles are closed off because they have no official storage...so they use the isles. If you have a choice, pick a different DG to go to.

Store is fine but isle's are always hard to get to, and through. Stock is never put away or being put away during open hours.

Good place to show but when it comes to boys clothing they only go up to 6/9 months wish they would carry more boys items like they do with girls stuff

The absolute worst store around ,there is usually 4-5 people waiting in line and always only one cashier.It doesn't matter what day it is or what time of day it's always the same.Dont stop here if you only need a couple items or just one item .U thought Walmart was bad but this is no contest the worst.

This store is horrible that person that fell just a piece of advice sew depending on how hurt you got mine for fall in public place 5,000 and yes they need new employees very rude I've had to call there corporate office because of the way I was treated there corporate office very good sent me gift card and fired employee that was harassing me.

Always a mess. Isles are not easy to get down. If an emergency happened you coy die before you could get help. Not ADA friendly.

I was in and out for batteries. Double aa and triple aaa. Got energizes and out the door and home. Oh ya and now the have metal straws.

Gray stuff, great prices, they are understaffed and the same staff has to stock when there is no one at cash register therefore you have to find someone to check you out.
