Truely one of the nicest grocery stores around. New owner remodeled the store. Absolutely awesome meat department along with fantastic vegetables. All kinds discount items. Like sugar free soda discounted to $2 for 12 cans. Love the quality of meat. They had BBQ lamb. The sausage was awesome. All kind of good prices.

My go to place. The meat selection is excellent and they often have unique options, fresh and ready to throw in the oven or on the grill. The hot foods and deli is also great. The staff here work hard and are friendly. The place is clean. The parking lot and walk ways are kept free of snow in the winter. Overall it's very well run. Excellent grocery store.

They like to stop and do money drops out of the middle of nowhere, last three to four times I've been there. I've been held up because the cashier has to stop an empty her drawer. It's usually during peak hours. If their cash handling system is that outdated? I wonder what else could be.

6 years. 6 years I’ve worked in this building. I’ve worked at the store that was here before and now I’ve been working at Shop N Save. The only part time job I ever had. Why? Well, the answer is quite simple. Though it was nice working at the previous store, and I enjoyed my time there, something about Shop N Save kept me there all these years. It felt like, well…home! I didn’t know how I would feel or how long I would stay with the new store but within days, I knew that I would love it here. The owners are amongst the kindest, most caring, generous, and hard working people you will ever meet. The workers in the store are resilient, and determined on a daily basis to ensure that everyone knows this is the best place in Ellwood City to shop at. I’ve been lucky enough to work here and help serve the great people of our community, and I wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else. Dave’s Hometown Shop N Save is a place where your opinion and suggestions matter. It’s also a place where we will do anything that we can to ensure you have a positive and effective shopping experience. If you’re going to take it from anyone, take it from me. This is the store to shop at. For more reasons than I could type in a single review. I wouldn’t have been here all this time if it wasn’t.

I have only lived here two years, I lived by Gibsonia before I moved to this area. I really like Shop N Save, I noticed that the store is neat and clean. The meats really caught my eye, you can tell that the meat is good and fresh. Deli department is great, you can actually buy a meal already made up that they wrote the price down. The bakery, rolls, fresh buns and breads are good. I imagine they have access in purchasing their meat through local farmers. I don’t usually care to shop at Shop N Saves but this one is definitely the exception, then, Cranberry Twp on Freedom Road would be my second choice. The employees at the Ellwood City store are so nice and go out of their way to help you! Really appreciate their kindness!

Store is always clean & well maintained. Owner actually works in store & very helpful, friendly, and courteous. Meat, fruit, and veggies are delicious. Great prices. Please note, this store independently owned & does not always carry same products or sales prices as regular shop n saves.

Awesome store stocked with some great items I can't find at other places. The hot foods are amazing and convenient for those days when cooking isn't an option. They also have one of the best meat departments around hands down as well as awesome baked goods, etc. The staff is very nice and the owners go above and beyond to help you out and even go as far as trying to locate items for you if by rare chance they don't already carry them. This is my go to grocery store , I highly recommend stopping in you will not be dissapointed.

Nice staff for sure. A little pricey and the shelves were a bit bare at the time of my visit. Today however they had the locally grown produce tables set up outside and that was a great experience. Update...the store is renovated and looks great. Shelves are full and the new adult beverage section is quite nice. They have turned everything around and are making customers very happy.

The store is always clean and their deli products are a very good quality, thr fresh baked bread is something you have to try. Also their hot cheese is the best around. The shelves are stocked and neatly displayed for easy shopping.

As a Christian I appreciate Dave's. My wife brought home some hot cross rocks ( used to be buns) that were so hard.they were inedible. Why would you sell expired food to your clients? Day old is one thing rock hard is quite another. I also explained to my wife for the future that if it comes from there and it is not fresh let Dave throw it out with the trash. Reminds me of the time that we bought milk from the thief that used to own that place and it was spoiled and some stupid dingaling that claimed to be the manager said that we could have driven around with it in the car all day.....it was winter and we had not.

Love the upgrades they've done inside! And the local produce section! Only downside is some of their price hikes are unreasonable and you have to pay attention to the shelf tags. I've been overcharged several times. But overall, it's a great grocery option for Ellwood City!

This Shop and Save is really unique. You can still purchase the meats that the former owners produced. This had been a staple of the community and surrounding communities. Their hot food deli along with their pizza and subs are fantastic! I would highly recommend this store.

Prices are hit or miss. Sales are usually good, but some items are pretty marked up. They do have "Loccisano's" sausage recipe, so that's the only place I get sausage. Also the meats are usually better quality too. They also carry Mancini's bread (which is the best!).

I only ever go here when I need something quickly and don't feel like driving too far; otherwise, I will always go somewhere else for groceries, even though I live two blocks from this store. Their meats are extremely overpriced, and the selection of products throughout the entire store is lacking or also overpriced. The employees are all very friendly, though.

Love the fresh meat straight from the butcher plus they make stuffed green peppers stuffed hot peppers stuffed mushrooms etc... All u have to do is take it home and bake it up and I tell you they are delicious and help cut down on this mom's cooking /prep time. Also I must try there homemade pizzas there margherita pizzas are so good.

It’s very upsetting that when you get past a dollar and fuel parks before the expiration date they just take $.50 off my expiration date was January 31, 2021 and last week I had a dollar off I go in the store today and it’s magically down to $.50 off per gallon they like to make you think you’re actually gaining something for shopping there but you’re not just like everywhere else. Such a shame I really like that store to
