The pharmacy staff is rude. It has improved some since some of the employees have changed. The pharmacy regularly runs out of medication, causing me, the consumer to wait and delay treatment. That hurts.

It’s like the cashiers here are playing a secret prank on the customers with the goal of seeing just how long they can make us wait before someone storms out. There will be like 9 people in line and the only cashier will wander off to the photo area just to see if it still looks like an active war zone. If I entered the store, made a beeline to the first item I saw, and took it directly to the register, it would still be a 27 minute wait in line. I just watched an entire episode of The Office while waiting to be rung up. The guy behind me brought a lawn chair to sit in. I watched a couple in line have their first kiss, get married, and divorced all before checking out, right there in front of me.Good candy selection

Walgreens - Elkins Park = Great Service and SelectionI recently visited this pharmacy and overall, I had a positive experience. The first thing that stood out to me was the wide selection of medications and healthcare products they offer. It was quite impressive and convenient to find everything I needed in one place.The staff was friendly and willing to assist me in locating the items I was looking for. They were knowledgeable about the products and provided helpful recommendations. I appreciate their willingness to answer my questions and make sure I felt comfortable with my choices.

This store is so poorly stocked! Do they need more staff? I'm sure they need better management! There are times when there are pallets of product sitting in the isles that are not on the shelves and there's no one there to unload them. The shelves in the dairy fridge are 1/2 empty much of the time. I often leave the store with less than I went in for. It wasnt like this a 2 or 3 years ago.

Store opens at 7:00 AM.Got there at 7:30 this morning to grab cold medicine and tissues before work.Doors were locked and the store wasn't open. Waited 15 minutes and still nothing. Went to CVS instead.

2 / 5 since it's a fine experience 40% of the time. This location is an MBA case study for how to mismanage and poorly allocate investment dollars. There is never appropriate stock, prices scanned rarely correspond with the shelf price and the employees overall are disengaged. There are a couple lovely and friendly employees (Cassandra in particular) but overall very lackluster.The worst thing here though, without question is the dumb investment into screens over fridge and freezer. This must've been a fortune and you open the hip looking TV screen of items and nothing is there. Would've been much better to pay employees more in exchange for better workmanship or re-haul the entire place to ensure there's actually stock. Overall, its the worst Walgreens I've ever been to

Why do some pharmacies have to be so depressing? Its depressing enough having to deal with illness and then to step into a place like this! The staff seem overworked, demoralized and tired. Some shelves are empty. Others should be empty, the prices are so high.After visiting the pharmacy, I stopped to pick up some hand sanitizer and a chocolate bar (the latter to lift my spirits.) Alas, both were overpriced and I left empty handed.

Worst Walgreens in this area. Pharmacy is generally ok but the rest of the store is a joke. Hardly any stock on the shelves, just aisles filled with boxes that never get put on the shelves. Unclean and disorganized - underneath of food shelves are filthy and have clearly not been cleaned in months or more. What few staff they have are disinterested, unmotivated and unhelpful. Nobody seems to care. Do yourself a favor and go to a different pharmacy, this place is the worst.

Great staff and very helpful. I stopped in a little over a month ago for last minute stuff and their coolers were down. As if the frozen items thawed and were no longer good. Close to the house and needed essentials (milk, bread, eggs, and a few other things). Grocery store was too far away late at night. Staff helped me sign up for the club card and it saved me about 15 bucks on my small cart. Great job to the staff - needed to fix the coolers and get more food in there.

I don’t really care for this location. When I was in the store and asked for help with something simple, the lady said just said someone will be right with you with attitude , and continued to do what she was doing then finally decided she was going to help but had attitude. I’ll go to another Walgreens if that’s the customer service that’s given here. There are plenty others.

The store was good but the employees decided my family & I should be watched for stealing.Not only did we not steal but got medicine & made quite a large purchase.I was very insulted once I realized wht was going on. However, I felt even better proving the store employees wrong.

Always loved this store, but had a very negative experience last evening. The young African American man behind the counter was rude,discourteous and dismissive. I greeted him when approaching the counter, and recieved no reply whatsoever. He rang up my purchases and tossed a glass item in the bag,gruffly. When I asked for a pack of cigarettes he sighed as if irritated I asked him to do something. I overlooked this and told him to have a good evening. His reply was a dismissive "mmhmm" not once did he smile, or greet me. I've been in customer service for years and rarely ever leave reviews, I know what it is to work hard for a low wage, and am empathetic to that.Being pleasant and welcoming to customers is so fundamental. I cant express how rude and disrespectful he was. I wish I made note of his name. This isn't the first time he has rung me out, hostilly, with no reason at all. This location has just lost my bussiness.

This is the best Walgreens. The store is always clean and well stocked, and has a good toy selection. The store staff are generally friendly, and the pharmacists and pharm techs are great. They are fast, and always willing to help.

Beware of the Pharmacist Huong who clearly discriminated against me today in the Pharmacy. Another technician began filling my prescription, but Mr. Huong saw my face and said he didn't fill comfortable filling my prescription (after I waited 20 minutes) due to my "address." I previously have filled prescriptions in multiple walgreens in various areas without issue.

Went to this location with ID and DT to pickup Fedex for daughter. Nyeehma (not sure of spelling) said “I need the tracking number”. I said “I gave you the DT and ID, I don’t have the tracking number, it’s either or. She went back and forth with me about they are responsible and my daughter can say she never received it. REALLY!!! Isn’t this why the ID must match the delivery address and a signature is still required. This individual went back and forth with me at least 5 minutes with this nonsense. I can’t help but wonder if I was a different race would the exchange had been different....hmmmm!!!

Don't go here. The service is the worst. Pharmacy always takes forever. They screw up my perscription on a bi-weekly basis. They wouldn't even sell me the two gift cards I needed for my twin nieces birthday. It was a cash purchase.

I love this store but really dislikes the cashier that works the register I feel forced to purchase unwanted items on top of being talked to death yes I’m aware it’s her job but there are time I go in and the line is super long with no help and she’s there talking away it’s to the point t sometimes I have to put items back or leave and come back when I have time

Honestly the place is a candy and junk food store mostly now..its all you see when you walk in, not taking anything away from the staff(always helpful and nice) ! I think we deserve better thats all.

Worst customer service. Tried to contact the store manager..she didn't care... I would avoid going there as much as possible. I felt there is a kind of racial discrimination going on... Hope the store is not going to last for longer..
