Nice country store with decent prices. Watch the dates because some are over 6 months expired and should be highlighted so the customers know. Clean store & only accept cash. We go all the time!

Good, friendly service, the lowest prices in the area, good selection. I love the small town feel, and I love that you can see happy chickens outside and buy their fresh brown eggs inside. 🙂

Great little country store. We've been buying our dairy products here for years. Really great prices on staples at our house: cheese, cream, milk, butter, cream cheese, bacon, etc. There's a nice selection of produce, baking supplies, and more. Definitely worth checking out!! Cash sales only.

This place is one of our favorites. We always end up leaving with more than we anticipated on getting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are great. I really like the selection of baking supplies, dry goods and spices. If you've never been here I highly recommend stopping in. Another high mark on my list is the store is very clean.

With today's rising food prices everyone is looking for ways to save on their grocery bill. Hoover's Discount store has most everything you want at better than normal prices. This can be seen by the number of cars in their lot on any Saturday.

Beings that we are kinda new to this area my husband and I googled the place and were kinda disappointed to find that the place don’t accept credit cards but yet when I went online it clearly said it did….very misleading and kinda annoying…. Update the web search for future people. I’ve been to hornings in Myerstown and bethel a billion times and they take credit debit and cash so beings that’s it’s a Mennonite discount store has nothing to do with I should have known before going In there either…

I always stop here when I'm in the area & have cash on me (it's cash only). It's a great little store! Like most discount stores, some stuff is still the same price as regular grocery stores, so you should to be mindful of prices, but there's always other groceries that are cheap enough that it's worth stopping.

Spacious free parking and well stocked for baking and candy making supplies. A huge selection of dried and Amish prepared foods is a bit pricey for some, but if you really want it, you will gladly pay.There are many items priced lower than the chain stores if you're not concerned about name brands.

This is great store to get some staple foods. They have all the basics and some other things too. You can't beat their prices. Hoover's, however, is small. They only have three aisles and a very limited produce section. It can sometimes be an odd assortment. No checks or cards.

Friendly staff and a nice selection of staples, including Lebanon bologna, Cooper sharp cheese, and Guers tea. They tend to have some bulk products too, such as bread flour. Check out the marked-down sections too. It seems there's always an ever changing selection of super-discounted goodies and groceries.

Awesome deals on large blocks of meat and cheese, i. E., Cooper Cheese 5 lb block for $15 versus Walmart at 699 a pound which is the cheapest around. The Mennonite/Amish stuff are always very nice and super helpful.
