Maybe check to make sure your employees aren't semi-secretly having telephone conversations via wireless earbud while they're 'working.' Especially when it's the cashier. I thought he had Tourettes syndrome, or was a very socially awkward guy or somethin. Nope, that weren't it. May very well have been the strangest interaction I've ever had at a cash register.

Cashier Rebecca assaulted me by scratching my hand at the checkout. It wasn't an accident either. It was out of malice because of an incident of name-calling back in high-school back in 08. No excuse to assault someone. None at all.

I am done with Dollar stores that appear to have set a goal of ripping off customers as a policy. The items are priced very differently on the shelf and at the cash register. The stores are dirty, and there are often hazards like boxes stacked randomly around the store. These factors coupled with the fact that the store is unable to retain staff, and so there is no guarantee that it will even be open, makes for an unpleasant shopping experience.

Yeah its good deal,good price but is crowded,dirty, no arrangements,everything scattered and is not in the right place.People applying that store it takes only few days,couple days.There's few months especially new hired,because can't handle the attitude of the Manager.Manager is mean that's why employees quitting and quitting.That's why her store is not organize just because she's mean.There's few working so long with her, but not all. Only her favorite.Manager has favoritism.She's good attitude to those her favorite.If it's not her favorite she's bad attitude.She trait most of her employee as a robot.Give time limit to do the totes during truck day while doing cashier.She never respect and she keep on yelling and making loud voice.She has a fake attitude. She's not a real person.She keep on blaming in 1 person why the store is a mess,scattered and not in the right place.That's her problem because even her when shes fixing stuffs she's always mad and throwing instead of fixing.She just keep and turning around the store saying bad words that I don't like it.She has bad mouth. Especially when she didn't smoke.If she smoke she feel better though.First time I saw manager that every minute every hour smoking.When you train people One thing at a time.Even you are manager you still to have to respect to your employees. Trait in a right way. Be calm and humble. Train properly so all employees will stay longer.First time I hear that during truck day that Manager give time limit to do totes while doing cashier.I remember all the words that I heard from her bad mouth. That I really don't like it.By the way I'm only applying sales associate or customer service or cashier but she want me to finish the totes quickly.She's mad why all entire store is scattered?Because she don't know how to trait her employees and she don't know how to clean up her store and she don't know how to organize. When my first day of work the register color brown and everything is a mess.I don't really understand where I start to clean.Besides that cashier. Customer first before do something.I know how to clean,to blocking face,or facing or inventory. I been working since when I was 16. From other country till in Pennsylvania.But I quit because she blame me everything.Even I work only 2 days or 3 days then when I come in she blame me everything.Then the most why I quit because of her bad and nasty mouth.All the words that I heard from her mouth are bad.

This store in Elizabeth is my backup Dollar General. 99% of the time, they have what I am looking for when my store in Clairton is out of stock. Every time that I can recall in the past few years, there is always someone who can help with any questions or check on items in the back. The employees have always been friendly and polite to me. The only thing I don't like about this store, and this is what is keeping it from being 5 stars, is the parking lot. The entrance and exit spots are only on one side and there just isn't enough room and NO part of the lot is level.

Not the best Dollar General I have been to. Shelves are frequently empty, aisles frequently blocked with carts of products having to go on shelves, vendors put tags on products and the store doesn't remove them (in this case it was a 2/ $5 potato chip price) or honor them and they do not tell you they simply ring it up at full price and if you object they tell you tough. Called home office about the discrepancy between the price on the shelf tag and the one that rang up and was told they would remove the shelf tags. Overall store is a disaster.

Fthis is one of the cleanest Dollar General stores, that I have ever been in. It is this way seven days a week. The manager makes it a point to have it in tiptop shape. Congratulations to the store.

One star only because I can't give it zero. The store is super cramped and the attitudes there are insufferable. Would recommend going to the Dollar General past Florefe.

IT WAS A MESS ISLES BLOCKED, SHELVES EMPTY AND A MESS, VERY TIGHT IDLES,WOULD BE HARD FOR WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. FILTHY ALSO. WORKERS WERE VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE.
