This little dog salon is 10 minutes from my house, and it is awesome! Super clean and not too loud. My German shepherd was groomed and had his nail clipped and did really good! 10 put 10 recommend!

Update: last yr I brought Quincy in for grooming, made an appointment(even though they tout, no appointment necessary, then it was Tuesdays only by appointment)by phone in Finleyville, show up & was told cat groomer was at Elizabeth, ridiculous, but they took him. Called today & cat groomers are ONLY available at Bethel or Irwin...I can't drive that far, physically, I had quadruple surgeries over the past 18 months on my right arm...so now I'm taking my business to the mobile groomer. It's sad, I'd love to support local businesses but I can't take the inconvenience.Thank you Kelsey & staff for taking such great care of Scampi, my daughter's pup & 'Q'uincy, my kitten! Q really needed it after rolling in a puddle of vomit from our other cat & "painting" the sides of his litter box this week! He is soft, luxurious & smells so sweet. Scampi was so scruffy & she looks bada$$ with her handkerchief & mohawk!

Best place to take your pups to get groomed if you don’t want to deal with the hassle of setting up an appointment. They are so friendly, understanding and not judge-mental at all! (At least I don’t think so) we have three medium-large doodles and they always do a good job and leave them smelling great. We’ve been coming here for about a year now I believe and never go anywhere else really

I have tried to take my dog there three different times only to be told they were too busy. I was told to bring him back later or another day, they said Friday and Saturdays are busy days. I tried on a Wednesday and was told they were busy that day too. If you're so busy all the time, maybe you should go to an appointment system. I'll go to another place who takes appointments. The staff was not apologetic at all, actually the staff seemed stressed and not welcoming. This was at the Finleyville location.

I really like the Elizabeth location and my review is for this location ... dogs are well cared for and the staff are friendly and you feel the staff are happy to be there. Nothing but bad experiences with White Oak location... staff are not friendly and I've been made to feel that I'm a bother to them when I would go there. My dogs act differently when they have gone to that location too... they won't leave my side for days, they are restless and they act fearful ... they don't act like that after coming home from the Elizabeth location, they act normal, content and happy.

I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else to be groomed. They do a great job and are very accommodating. They went the extra mile to help make sure my cat got groomed outside of their cat grooming hours and location. Very nice staff as well.

I will never take my dog there again. they do not stand by their mission— my dog was left in their care and I picked him up bloody and traumatized. The folks claimed that he had a condition, but by his extreme change in behavior and sudden fear of anyone going near his ears, I believe that the groomer was way too rough and pulled the hair on his ears. His ears bleed for days and he will not allow my husband or myself apply the ointment the vet prescribed to heal his ears. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. He used to love to go, but then started getting anxious when we had to drop him off. For a dog who LOVED to have his ears touched and rubbed, he now cowers when he thinks someone is going near them.

Terrible experience at the Elizabeth location .My 6 month old puppy came home with broken blood vessels in his eyes snd had to be treated by a Vet . It was a traumatic experience for my pet snd myself and unacceptable !!!Owner seemed concerned and offered to pay Vet bill but never followed through which ended in a very unprofessional extremely low class conversation that spoke volumes of the kind of business man he is .Do not recommend this facility .& 100% will NEVER come there again .

Very nice and professional. They tale extra care with animals. My puppy has been there twice now and will continue to go there. Will recomend to anyone that is looking for a groomer. The prices are very resonable as well.

Took the dog out. Told them twice to not cut under his tail close with clippers. They ended up cutting my dogs tail to the point it’s bleeding and he won’t stop licking it. The dog can’t even sit down correctly. I normally have them groom 3 of my dogs monthly. Will never be back.

We tell them to keep our dogs ears long and actually groom her. We can shave her ourselves if that's what we wanted to do. Yet they don't even take the time to listen to us. She's a Cocker Spaniel not a chihuahua. Now she won't stop scratching and her fur is skin short. If you need your dog shaved, that all they know how to do.

My dog turned out bettee than I could ever do. Her nails were cut down perfect. She didnt have stinky doggy breath anymore. Also she was trimmed up and cleaned very well.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. I'm very picky about where I take my dogs and at Candelore's they treat every dog as if they were their own. Very professional and no appointment needed. I took my Newfoundland to be groomed but he gets frightened and pulled away slipping out if his collar. Thank God one of the employees at Candelore's seen what happened. She litterly came RUNNING to help me catch him so he didn't get hit by a car. I was terrified but couldn't have done it without her. I now know a regular collar is not safe...my fault! They really go the extra mile to assure all pets are safe and taken care of. You can trust them to take care of your fur babies

My little guy had the worst grooming experience ever somewhere else last year and I was worried he would never be able to go to a groomer again.The staff at Candelore's was SO nice to him today that I won't ever be taking him anywhere else! He also has a collapsing trachea and they were able to do his appointment without putting anything around his neck. He came out calm, gorgeous and nothing but smiles!!!! You can tell these guys love animals and that makes all the difference!!!!!

Horrible place. Horrible grooming. Horrible owner. It took 7 hours to do a horrible job on my Golden Retriever. I was told at drop off that it would be 3-4 hours and that there were 4 dogs before him. The groomer shaved my Golden Retriever and damaged his paws. He was bleeding when I picked him up. They had the audacity to tell me that I brought him in like that. I think I would of noticed my dog bleeding.I will go to a privately owned salon from now on.

We’ve been taking our Lab to Candelore’s since they first opened. They were actually the first groomer we ever took our (first) dog too, so we didn’t know what to expect in terms of service or quality. But let me tell you, our boy absolutely loves going there for a de-shed and bath so we keep going back! Can’t recall when they first opened this location now, but for each of our visits over the years we’ve had a great experience with Candelore’s. They love on our pup and he looks/smells fantastic when we pick him up. Glad to see them expanding this location too, that’s wonderful to see for such a great grooming service. 5 stars.

Took my dog to the Irwin location 3x’s - I noticed the second time him acting crazy with anxiety when we got him home, to the point we seen an emergency vet. Third time he cried when we got there however I went against my gut and got him cut again. He came home shaking and crying for quite a few days took him back to the vet. Beside the haircut being uneven and the nails barely cut- I believe the tender loving care are not given to these dogs… I will take him back to a reputable groomer that has a 8 week waiting period. Never in 2 years has my dog been scared to this extreme so something was not right. When walking in you can hear the dog crying uncontrollably from the crates.

I’ve had awful experiences at grooming places with my dogs, who both have anxiety issues. They HATE being on tables, and my large dog really doesn’t appreciate being in a cage. Candelore’s is BY FAR the most accommodating, and loving grooming place we’ve been to. The girls bath my pups together, and do their best to minimize their anxiety. I really appreciate how much they go out of their way to give such great, individual care to each animal. I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else! Also, the bath special is UNBEATABLE. It’s cheaper than any bath my dogs have ever had, yet they always come home soft, smelling fresh for days, and with much less loose hair than with any other groomers. Their nails are always perfect, and the bandanas are the cutest! All of the employees are kind and obviously care for animals. I 10/10 recommend! I’ve only been to the Elizabeth salon, but I’ve also heard their new locations are awesome!

This was our first time here and the staff was not overly welcoming but not bad. I felt like I was treated like a number and rushed in and out and the place was not super clean. They did a good job bathing and nail cutting my dog. My dog is a small dog and nervous around loud noises and she was terrified to enter due to the extremely loud noise (multiple blowers/vacuums and numerous dogs barking) but I decided to try it being I was there but felt awful leaving her there for 2 hours with the chaos. If your dog is fine with loud noises and you don’t mind average customer service you will like it there because the grooming was good. Just my honest opinion.
