Had wood pellets delivered and we experienced storage difficulties. We called Argot and the owner came personally to help us arrange the pellet bags in our shed. This is truly "red carpet" treatment and very much appreciated, and we will be repeat customers*****

My go to hardware store. Right next door to my house... basically. Been there to get keys made on multiple occasions. Also to get wood stove pellets. I'm not the biggest lady around, I capable of lugging the bags of pellets to my car, I mean I do everywhere else! Lol but the nice gentleman that work here will help me out Everytime, which is very nice, makes it easier on me, and I definitely appreciate. Also any odds and end sort of hardware stuff Ive been there for, hardly ever knowing exactly where to look for said items, and they can always point me in the right direction or grab said item for me. Good ole local hardware store with very nice and helpful staff!

This store offers lumber now! Easy to read category signs hang high by each isle! They make U-Haul rentals easy! Plus, they can do small engine repairs too!

I am so thankful for Argot’s Hardware. Friendly Knowledgeable staff, great selection and fair prices. Mom & Pop stores like this are made this country great. I shop for my business and home here whenever I can. I don’t find their prices to be unfair as some have posted but regardless it’s worth it for the customer service they provide. Love the new update and new products!

Hardware store that I was in and out of easily with immediate on-site help. I believe it’s also family owned which is pretty cool. Never really noticed it in my 15+ years living in the Poconos. So I’ll be sure to go there if I need supplies again.

Love this store. More like an old fashioned hardware store with up to date product. They have just about everything to fit your needs. Great team working there and great management. If you are in the area, stop in and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Great place to shop, Ron & Chrystal give Great personal service and are always Friendly and smiling....Can always find what I need here at Argot's Hardware especially when it comes to the odd ball things, plus they still offer loose Nuts & Bolts in all sizes in Standard and metric., still has that hometown feel to the store. Not like those Big Box places..

I have been a customer of Argot's off and on since before Argot's took ownership. It has always been a hometown atmosphere. When I went in, this morning I was greeted by several smiling associates. Most, if not all, asked if I needed help. Product knowledge was good and referring to experts helped further. I saw more associates there than in my trips to Lowes and Home Depot over tgd past few days.

A small but awesome hardware store. I only subtract one star for an experience I had when I walked in asking about something and was told they didn't have what I was looking for without a second thought or even asking what kind of product I had that I needed the part for. Going the extra mile sometimes for a customer is nice and makes them want to come back. Today wasn't that day for Argots but I will be back in the future.Update: My father stopped in, was told the same thing by the same person, asked to see the part and it was what we needed. Please don't assume what you have isn't what we need. Take the time to check. 😊

We've been going here for decades. Without question, the most helpful and knowledgeable staff in the area. For a smaller establishment as compared to the Big Box stores, their inventory is quite extensive.

I give ARGOTS hardware 10 stars. They have the best prices overall than any other hardware store in this region and in any hardware store I've ever been to I bought gloves work loves heavy duty work clubs and heavy duty forest tops rated tart heavy duty extreme tops TAR PS for extreme no other company carries them that I'm aware
