Purchased our 3 month old schnoodle here. The staff were very helpful and patient! They let us see as many dogs as we wanted and answered all our questions. They were knowledgeable about breeds and gave us realistic expectations. We were there on a busy Friday when school was out too. Our pup is thriving and she is so happy and healthy. When we saw our girl we fell in love. The process was quick to check out. Very happy with the entire experience.

Bought my beautiful teddy bear, which is a Shih Tzu and bichon frisé mix. She is a beautiful little girl. So friendly and loving and kind. Super smart too. She figured out before 24 hours. She uses the pet ramp I have in front of my bed and lazy boy to get right up there. She’s too tiny to ever be able to jump up but she knows how to use ramp. Alyssa at the pet store was wonderful and you can tell she loves all the dogs. I highly recommend this pet shop because we have gotten a few dogs from here the last couple years and everyone has been a wonderful animal. Well bred and healthy.

This is my 2nd puppy from here & he’s amazing !! So friendly , smart & what a perosnality does Charlie have !!! The staff is amazing !! I never had any issues here ! I will be bringing Charlie in to visit the staff ❤️ ps, I wish I knew the persons name my bf purchased him from and who helped him , but he was a secret & kept from me for a week so shout out to you !! I remember Amanda being there when I went to look at him and take him into a room & had to make him mine ❤️

This review is long overdue. We purchased a male West Highland Terrier from The Pet Shop at the Palmer Park Mall on December 18, 2018. His name was Sabre, but we re-named him Tippy. Tippy has been the love of our lives. He has been healthy since the day we brought him home. The Pet Shop was very easy to work with. Thank you for a great little dog!

This place should be shut down. Not only do all their animals look malnourished, they purposely misguide prices. There are no prices listed, which is illegal, and when you ask the price, they tell you a strikingly small number that intrigues the customer. We were told repeatedly that a puppy was “17.95”. Even after I exclaimed “wow! So cheap?!” The employee continued to lead us on (myself, my husband, and my 10 year old son). They even ran my debit card with the misguided price WITHOUT ever clarifying. They liquidated all the money in my checking account (a few hundred dollars) then said we still owed over a thousand more. The price was $1,795.00. They never said the word hundred or thousand. Just “17.95”. My son and I left devastated, and I have yet to receive the money back that they stole from me. I asked to speak to the manager and was told “no” by the rude employees. I asked for the managers phone number and/or email, and all I received was the shops business card with the shops phone number. I reported them to the FTC and the BBB.

In August I bought a GSD puppy. He is amazing. We took him for the free vet checkup and he had a bit of kennel cough, but it cleared up right away with treatment. He is so perfect, I went back a couple of days ago and bought a sweet pomeranian. The employee cried when we left the store. This little pup is in perfect health. So far, I have nothing negative to say about The Pet Shop.

I got my pup here about 4 months ago and I must say she is fantastic and so we’re the people here at the store. Everyone is friendly and helpful! I fell in love with this pup and they did everything possible to help me get her! The management is friendly and the staff cares so much about these pups I couldn’t be happier! Happy customer here!

A typical puppy mill pet store with rude staff, and overpriced dogs that perpetuate the puppy mill industry. Multiple dogs in tiny spaces & "no photos or videos" makes it evident they are embarrassed of the conditions the animals are kept in.

Absolutely the WORST pet shop. Roped off blocked off and don't you dare try to touch a pet or you will be yelled at by one of the rude staff! FAIL! Close the doors forever!*Also note how the owner responds to potential customers feedback in a derogatory manner! No business being in business!

I used to love this place as a 15-year old, but now the employees are extremely rude and arrogant. I didn’t get the name of one lady, but she looked like her personality was. She was a chubby white woman with a whale attached to her neck and she had a problem that I was taking a photo of a puppy to send to my aunt. She didn’t politely come up to me and ask me to put my phone away, nor did I see any posters stating that it’s not allowed. She yelled from 10 ft away “MAAM NO VIDEOS AND PICTURES. MAAAAM NO PICTURES OR VIDEOS” like damn have some manners you work in a pet shop. That made my experience with my son in that store very disappointing. Other employees seemed fine, but she just ruined it for me and my family. She was just talking to her employees about leaving and getting outta there so I really think they should reconsider the people they hire.

Typical puppy mill supporter. USDA inspected means nothing considering they allow dogs to be in tiny wire cages in order to breed. They get their dogs from puppy mills or backyard breeders. DO NOT SUPPORT. This business is corrupt and only in it for the money.

Went here with my wife to look at a new puppy for our Home they tried to sell me a 3000 dollar puppy when I asked for the paperwork on the parents they had none but insisted it was from a reputable breeder in Ohio this place is a scam

I came to The Pet Stop to buy a betta fish. They only had 6 to choose from. They were beautiful. They were $15.99. BUT.....if you want the cup that they are swimming in, they are $18.99. Ummmm, sooooo like how are you supposed to get it home if you don't take the cup? Was I supposed to bring my aquarium with me? Perhaps I should have poured it into my mouth and tried to keep some water in there so it could swim until I got home? Seriously, just charge $18.99 so you don't make a foul out of your store. I did not buy a fish just because of how ridiculous it was.

I visited the Whitehall Pet Shop Super friendly staff they love working with the animals and the customers very attentive; everything is well kept. Very clean; prices are reasonable many credit options available to choose your furry companion. Love that they have variety of puppies and in different stores locations as well i totally recommend this pet shop store to friends and family.

A great place to bring the kids to look at puppies. However, the price tags are insane. I can recall asking about the price of a 5 month old pup. The sales person stated that the dog has been marked down at $7,000. If you want to drop 10k for a pup, come here.

Puppies are cute and have all different breeds. But the store is filthy everytime you go in, and the store manager is so disrespectful and nasty to her co workers. I have heard her belittle and talk down to them on more than a few occasions. Raising her voice at them in front of customers. She also puts on a show for customers, and soon as they walk away, you over hear her calling them trailer trash. Extremely poor management. For that reason, we will not be back.

Idk much about dogs, but they had a guinea pig there alone, in a small plastic cage that he was being sold with. I saw little to no hay in the cage and he looked young, which is when they need the most hay. If I had the space for a 4th pig, I would have bought him in a second. Just can't stop thinking about the little guy :(

I bought a puppy about 2 months ago.I have written 2 notes and have notreceived a response.The puppy has Giardia. A difficultparasite to cure and can spread tome or my other dog.I have been to two vets.It can take 4 or 5 months to cure.The puppy is isolated which meansno grooming, no training classes nosocializing which is very, veryImportant to a puppy.You sold this puppy being fully aware ofhis condition.Believe me when I say I am not going tojust drop this while vet bills pile up andthis puppy stays isolated.Jean Vladyka

Bought a puppy from them in the beginning of December, asked before I left to see the puppy interact with the smaller dogs there, worker helping me assured me he’s not rough and would be fine with my smallerDog at home. Called back the next day when I noticed he was WAY to rough with my dog at home. Everyday I’m told I’ll get a call back and still haven’t. Needless to say don’t buy a dog from here. Half are sick, & no customer care.

I got a puppy here and I love her very much but I took her to the vet and she did have something going on. I called to let them know and the lady tried fighting with us and we asked for the owner to give us a call. No one has called us back, a call is the least they could do. Apparently once you buy an animal here they don’t care about the well being after or the customers.
