We brought our two frenchies over a holiday weekend. This was the first time we boarded our dogs and we were a little hesitant but owner was super attentive, sweet and answered every and any question. We were offered to call in to check in on our dogs. Dogs were super safe, clean, and healthy after pickup. I recommend 10/10. We will surely be using Gate House Kennel again

Absolutely recommend Gate House Kennel. I've used this kennel for about 20 years and the facility and service has been wonderful. My dogs love it too! They have no hesitation when I bring them here. Bill was so great with our dogs. Even with our boxer being timid of him and having a harder time adjusting to the kennel, he took very good care of her. He was very honest and told us how the dogs were doing while they were there and overall had great communication with us.

I couldnt be happier boarding my dog here. The staff is amazing and such good people. My dog always came back happy, clean and healthy. My dog must have enjoyed the staff because even when picking her up she wanted attention from them. You wont be disappointed. Between the pricing and hospitality you can't go wrong here.

Had to find a kennel local to a condo rental for a 2 night stop over with friends on the way to see family for Christmas. Good to deal with and seems to have taken good care of our 7 month old German Shepard for the time she was there. Dropped her off right on time and she was bathed and ready for pickup when promised. I do not recommend this kennel! We boarded our two dogs there and they were very sluggish when we picked them up. The next day they had diarrhea and vomiting. We ended up with over $800 in vet bills because it was very hard to treat and they got dehydrated.

Gate House Kennel is the only kennel I have ever taken my German Shepard (who is now 6 years old), but after this time, Gate House is definitly the only kennel I will take him to me. Pesos had dirrhea unknown to me. Bill immediately notified me and for his entire stay watched him, personally made sure he got medication (Bill went to Dr Sloan Smithfield Animal Hospitalfor me, no charge)he gave Pesos every day, walked him, stayed in touch with me every day and still Pesos got an A+ in his Camper Card. Gate House Kennel rocks.
