This store is beyond disgusting. Whoever runs this store needs to do a serious clean up and hire more people. I am almost certain this store could make so much money but people walk in can't see or get to items and are disgusted by the stores appearance. I do not know how they are still in business management if you are reading this truly think before you act

This store is consistently in terrible shape and UNSAFE for shopping. The store is apparently understaffed and the Manager and the people who work there do not care about their store or their customers. I have brought this to the attention of the Family Dollar corporate offices. Still nothing has been done. If Family Dollar does not care about it's customer base in East Stroudsburg, then East Stroudsburg people should not shop there at all!!

Shopped for various items and nobody was at the open register, waited around for awhile and still nobody. Eventually an employee walked in the store with music blaring, looked like she was coming off a break and didn’t come over to the register right away. Guess this store doesn’t want to sell their products…

I went there this morning and had to greet myself. I said good morning to the workers and no response at all. Employees were too busy flirting with the male customers checking out. One employee was kicking around a balloon instead of picking it up. Literally not one word was said to me as I was shopping all the way to checking out. The only employee who was working was the gentleman stocking the shelves. Unprofessional and uncomfortable shopping experience.

Employees lacked any care for the company at all, ran into grab a few items and most of their food items were up to six months past expiration date. I could not walk down any aisle without merchandise getting caught in the wheels of my cart. I do my best to avoid this family dollar all at cost. It looks as if they take the boxes from the back room and either dump them straight on the floor or stack them along the aisles on the floors til customers go through them themselves. Absolute chaos.

STE 150 East Stroudsburg, PAThe manager Jenna, at least that's the name she gave me was very rude and unprofessional.Basically, there was a sale shelf with different items that had the same price points under each item, but the product rung up a different price at the register.The manager happened to be at the register and said that the item is not on sale. Instead of going back and forth, I ask if she can walk over with me so she can see there's a whole shelf with the product on it that has the same price point. After verifing that the product was on the sale shelf with that price point she did not want to honor the price or even say sorry about the situation. I told her that was false advertisement and she should be able to accommodate the customer as a manager. I was purchasing 3 of the items and she says, now you can only get 2 because it is a limit of 2 per customer.now that saying was not advertised on the shelf either, basically she was being sarcastic. When I said she will be reported to her district manager she then let me buy 3. This is ridiculous!!! I'm writing this review on principle and to allow her to be able to be retrained on how to service customers and learn how to diffuse situations.

I have been going here since this store opened. It use to be.great. But I have watched it go down hill slowly. It's a shame as it is the only one close in our area. Please have some one come in and fix up this store. There is inventory thrown every where. Nothing organized. Merchandise on the floor. It's a dirty store. Not clean at all. Pig sty. Plus on top of the inventory everywhere they just keep bringing stock out???? Who is the doofous that runs this store!!! It is a busy busy area. They need more help and a new manager. Either fix it up or get rid of it. I would rather drive another 10 min. Down the road to Dollar General. There are other dollar bill stores to go to. They are not close but at least they take care of the stores and their customers. If there was a zero rating that would be what I would choose. So i HAVE to choose a 1.

First and last time ever going to this particular store. Not only was the store a Mess and Unorganized but the staff was Very Rude and not Unuseful. I was so Upset and Disappointed by the treatment I received I put the shopping cart back and walked out without purchasing a single item. Although the Family Dollar in Easton is a long drive, I would rather take the drive instead of dealing with people who don't like there job. I'm a former Retail Worker myself and I know it can be difficult dealing with the public but no just brush customers off is just Ridiculous!!!!

This place is the worst. Do not shop here. They won't let you return anything. They keep telling you to come back for a manager that leaves during the day. They're thieves.

The place is a mess, only one cashier and the line really long.. Cashier even with the attitudes given to her she still was really nice to all her customers, how does management expect this place to be in order if the cashier has no help and has a long line. Emily another cashier came to help when the main cashier was calling out for her but she was all this time on her iPhone instead of helping her other cashier. Emily need to be more aware and help out her coworker. Not wait till customers are upset

I went to store #8526 on Saturday and immediately upon entry me and my family members (who are black) were stopped by a white employee who told us we weren’t allowed to shop in the store with our small backpacks (that we used as purses) because of store policy. I’m from New York City and was in the Poconos on vacation and have NEVER heard of such a policy whenever I shopped there. We told them that and refused to turn over our backpacks. While shopping, yet ANOTHER white employee proceeded to follow some of my family members around the store. I have never felt racially profiled like this before. I work in retail in a high volume store in the upper east side so I understand LP concerns but it is NEVER okay to harass customers upon entry and follow them without cause. I don’t think I can support a store that employs people who racially profile their customers like that.

The manager Jenna is extremely RUDE AND GHETTO! She got sarcastic with my mother about the mistake the store made with signage. She threatened to not allow my mother to not buy an item and was very unprofessional. Jenna proceeded to yell at my mother and argue while we were checking out. I feared she would try and fight my mother. Such a horrible experience. They need to fire her immediately!

I have never been in this store before.If I had to recommend it to anyone I would not.It literally looked like a tornado blew thru this place.choatic and messy,unorganized and the people that work there seem to be oblivious. How can you run a store that looks like this? I'm looking at all the terrible reviews and it's clearly an ongoing issue.Someone in corporate needs to look at this store and get it under control.That is no way to represent yourselves as a retail store and have a successful business long term. It's a shame because the area needs places like that around. I will not patronize this place ever again nor should anyone else.

I haven't been in this store in a long time. Needed to waste some time while my husband was getting a haircut next door. What a mess!! Things thrown everywhere. Employees look as if they could care a less about the mess. I couldn't even walk through most of the aisles. It was like an obstacle course AFTER a tornado blew through. Disgrace!

The store needs a clean up crew. Very unorganized, merchandise all over the floor. When I walked up to the counter to check out the employee look straight at me and walk away. I give a 0 rating. Please send someone to clean up the store and get a whole new staff. I called the corporate office to give my complaint was on hold no one ever picked up.

Had not been in this store for quite awhile. Was told to come here to purchase a usb a charger unit. ATT was right they had plenty of them and the cashier pointed them out to me. Very helpful worker of this store. I'll be back again.

Today 2/13, I shopped there and got some cute little baskets. Paid for everything and as I walk out the store the alarm goes off. I didn’t think anything of it because I was on the phone so I kept walking. The cashier comes out and saids “uhm you can come back in here.” I give her the bag and she says “what did you steal? Nothing you bought has a security tag” I say absolutely nothing because she’s looking stupid in front of all the customers in the store. She’s digging through the bag and finds that one of the baskets DOES have a security tag on it. She yells to the other employee “why does this have a tag!!” So I say to her “now apologize bc you just accused me of stealing” she says oh sorry with an attitude lmao. I enjoyed letting her look dumb in front of everyone because I knew I didn’t steal anything from A DOLLAR STORE😂

The store is disgusting. It's an accident waiting to happen. It smells like cigarette smoke, boxes of merchandise, loose merchandise and food all over the floor, spilled juice and food that has dried and stuck to the floor. I don't know how they make a profit or how that store is still open or even why the Board of Health is even allowing it to stay open. I wish I could give it a negative amount of stars.

I only gave it 1 star because, I had no other choice. I could not believe the condition of this store. I could not even get to the garbage bags as you will see in my pictures. Who is in charge here? Who allows this to happen? What a mess!!

I just walked out of this place. Went in for deodorant. Waited st the register while the only person working say on their phone in front of me.Store was in shambles. It smelled weird. Floors were dirty.So much nope in that store

those pic,s are old..its worse now,,it looks like some kids had a free for all in there,,,,I was going to post it on the web as a must see in the poconos ..I spent an hour wadding through the stuff in there just for the fact that i had never seen anything like that except on tv...when they show a ransacked home,,,, it was to funny. 8 people at the register and no check out person...amazing that the manager still has a job,,,or maybe there isnt one..it looks like the inmates are running the asylum ...

This store is a pig stye. I wouldn't even bother to take a picture of the store. I just want to get out of the store because you have no idea what you are going to bring home with you. The only nice thing and clean was the cashier.

The store is always messy no matter what day of the week it is. Never have anything good in stock. Went in for Mother’s Day gifts since I got a email saying they had mugs, flowers, etc. went in to find nothing. Waste of time

Recently visited this store with my family while in vacation. I was greeted by a scream to leave the store because I had on a small black backpack which is my purse. It was very embarrassing and unprofessional! They just lost a customer! I will never visit any other locations either!!!

This family dollar is just nasty and the people who work here don't want to be bothered. This store is so dirty and unorganized. They have product just all over the floor. They need a management change really badly. I don't suggest you shop here.
