Weis on Roosevelt Ave.Easy to shop, aisles are not cluttered with carts putting away products and if there are any, the staff putting products up always ask if I need any help finding something. Meat dept. staff are great!I travel past 2 other Weis plus Giant to go to this store. Believe me if I come across a rude worker I’ll let you know! Very well stocked also!

I had to do a return. When I went into the store and saw that customer service desk doesn't open until 10 am. I went and got what I needed. At 10 am the sign was still up that the service desk is closed. I went to the register next to the service desk to check out. I explained that I have an exchange to do, but service desk is closed. Cashier told me that cashier's don't do returns and exchanges that is done at customer service desk and they are open now. I informed the cashier that the sign was still up after 10 am. I got done with my purchase and went to customer service desk where 3 employees were standing around and talking. As I am standing there waiting, the cashier walks over and starts talking about me to the employees at customer service desk. I am really not happy with this store and employees. I would recommend if you need to go anywhere for groceries that you go elsewhere and not to this store. I was in there doing an exchange and purchase for my parents. This is not how I wanted to be treated when doing stuff for my parents.

Went in on a Friday night and not a single cashier. $400 cart I had to ring up all by myself while your self checkout guy played on his phone. Go in during the day, maybe one-two lanes manned by your slowest people while 3-4 self-checkout "helpers" play on their phones. I do not want to hear that you don't have staff when i get followed around as an anti-theft measure nearly every time i walk in. You have staff all over that store and not a single one can run a register? Really?I used to love Weis, but the customer experience is just getting worse and worse. I don't want to have to drive out of my way to another grocery store - im lazy, i dont want it to take forever, and i like the gas discounts - but the bad is stomping the good into the ground.

Was at Weis in East Berlin tonight around 6:00/6:30 getting groceries. Went to check out and NO cashier's to check you out just self check out open. This is piss poor for on a Friday night!! Went to the service desk and the young man said there's nobody to check you out. I said fine then you can put my whole cart of groceries back.. I DO NOT WORK THERE AND WILL NOT USE SHELF CHECK OUT!!!!!

Stopped to look for LemiShine products. They font carry them anymore. I'll check out other stores. Weis is still a great grocery store.

The store is clean and carries most items we need. We stopped doing our primary shopping there for several reasons: Produce was often on verge of rotting.Their policy of confusing customers with signage on every shelf makes it difficult to find a real "sale" Often sale tag will be misplaced (Pyramid of cereal boxes with large sign offering sale price but when rung up cashier states "It's only one variety of that cereal") Nearly every visit we have a sale item ring up full price. Often the sale has ended and nobody removed the signage. (They used to give you the item free if it rang up wrong but stopped doing that...)Lastly, Weis points can ONLY be used for gas, organic milk, or eggs. Other Weis stores offer a whole page of items discounted with points and a $5 off your next purchase coupon. Was told it's b/c they have gas pumps at East Berlin, How does that matter?EDIT: Weis responded with a generic "We're sorry..." No, I have spent 5 years trying to get the changes made so home-town people can again shop locally. Nothing changes. On a positive note, I forgot to mention that Weis brand immitation crab meat is better than any brand name, and well-priced. It is worth a trip just to pick some up. Also, the store manager is very helpful and has tried to address my concerns, which unfortunately originate at a corporate level so are difficult for him to change.

The quality of the Weis brand food products really impressed our family. The prices were more reasonable than I was expecting. Store was clean, well stocked and the staff were super friendly.

Nice clean store with a great location for locals and for the number of camp sites in the area. Good prices and a really nice variety of stuff. So e items were difficult to find without asking for help but all in all I wish this store was in my local town and not the Kennies market we have.

The five stars is because Weis actually had two employees on cash register instead of one (that’s rare post Covid), and that really does make a difference to the shopping experience, if you are crunched on time or have a lot of groceries. The other reason for the five stars is because of a newer employee, Julia, she is so personable when working at the cash register and is so kind and always has a smile on her face. More employees like Julia please.

Nice grocery store. Nice produce section. Good prices and good sales every week. Restroom by dairy section at back of store. Clean and friendly service. Lottery available at service desk and vending machine by exit. Gas available onsite, save with store rewards card. Use points for gas or special purchases

***UPDATE 3/17/24***ONE cashier was open again with a line 5 carts deep. Look over to the right and you see two red shirt teenagers standing around shooting the breeze doing absolutely nothing. Another walks by playing on her cell phone.***PRIOR REVIEW***I dropped this review to 1 star because I was in there again and they had a line of 4 people in front of me with one cashier scanning items. ONE CASHIER! I look to my right and I see three red shirted kids playing on their phones standing around the self-checkout lanes.OPEN MORE CASHIER LANES WITH HUMANS THAT SCAN YOUR GROCERIES!!!***ORIGINAL 2-STAR REVIEW****There are never enough cashiers working. -1 Star*The prices are astronomical. A few months back I picked up a tray of chicken breasts and it was $7.99/lb. ARE YOU KIDDING?! -1 Star*They removed approximately 5 pay lanes and the girl said that they are installing self-checkout. I assume these massive cost savings from no longer paying a teenager $7/hr. will be passed along to the customer and chicken will drop to what, $7.90/lb? -1 Star

The store looked clean. It had a nice selection of gluten free and organic, better choice items but the prices were SO HIGH. I made the drive 10 minutes down the road to the Aldi, next to Giant and WalMart. I also saw and stopped at an Amish produce stand.

The hamburger I’ve bought is all brown in the center, so I’m assuming they’ve mixed old burger with some new. Definitely not fresh. Then when I ask about it the guy basically said deal with it.

There staff at the check out area. not all, just a few. Think people steal and stop them and question them. One employee at closing time has her husband pull up right at the ramp, the only ramp going out the right side exit, and sets there has no consideration for people coming out of the store with carts does not move for the people to access the ramp to get to their car. He sits there waiting for his wife to come out 15 minutes prior to the store closing. My wife had to go off the curb one time and something made of glass fell out of the cart and broke. I understand that thr elderly need all the help they can get at times, but this guy does not need to set their and block 15 customers from using the ramp. Every evening this happens like clockwork

Awesome shopping experience! The largest Weis I've been in this far! Very clean,neat,great customer service! They also do online orders and delivery. Just about any sweet you can imagine in the bakery section/and everything I've tried thus far has been fresh and delicious! They also have a flower/plant/candle section with a large selection of reasonably priced,and well taken care of plants/flowers.

Went in Monday evening for groceries, as we walked up to the deli the person working there was sitting on a food prep counter playing with his phone. Going through the store we noticed numerous employees standing around doing nothing. Two young ladies were racing their work karts across the back of the store. Then we get up to checkout, all manned checkouts are closed, yet 5 cashiers are standing around talking. We are not fans of the self checkout at all.

I usually have a subpar experience shopping at this location. But when Mary and Trinity are working, the whole shopping experience is more friendly and welcoming. There's another team member who is awesome, but I haven't seen her in awhile. Not sure if she still works there in the mornings. Keep up the great job ladies!

Walked in at 8am a hour after it opens but the customer service desk is closed till 9am. that makes no sense i guess your hoping no customer problems happen in the first 2 hours. i have never seen a grocery store do this even walmart open when the store opens and thats a low bar. You would think if the doors are open your customer service department would be open to in case a customer has a problem they can actually get some help. This is just one of the many reasons why I do not like coming to the store There is 0 customer service especially in the 1st 2 hours of every day.

Too many self checkouts that are too sensitive and call for help when not needed. Gotta sit your own bag just so. Tried to use the hand scanner for my heavy stuff but it wasn't charged.
