The Sweet Shop in Eagles Mere is a must stop spot for good sandwiches, specialty drinks, ice cream and much more! The sandwiches pictured below were the gourmet Philly, sweet turkey and Southwest BLT and they were all delicious! You can stay inside as there is plenty of seating with charming decorum from Sullivan County's past or hang out on the patio next to their water feature and neighborhood frogs 🐸 I can't wait until my next trip home from Korea to visit the Sweet Shop again!

We've now been here several times. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The food delicious. Little one likes the Italian wrap. Husband loves the Turkey Club sandwich. I love the coffee brisket sandwich. Yum!!From 2020: It was my little boy's first time ordering his own ice cream and he was So Excited. They were so great about counting out the change back to him.Thank you for being so kind and patient ! We will see you again soon.Kid-friendliness: The staff is always excellent when dealing with kids when I've been present.

Great food, great ice cream! Very nice interior and exterior facade! Nice porch with window service. They have a cappuccino/coffee crunch ice cream flavor that is my personal favorite. If you get to an event or festival locally stop in!

Sat for 15 min and No one came to the table. We even went inside to tell them we were going out there and was told to sit where ever we wanted.So we went somewhere else and had a great lunch!

My wife and I had lunch there yesterday. The sandwiches my wife and I had consisted of some not very good turkey meat and cheese jammed between two pieces of toasted bread, also with some sort of spread. Thinking that a pastry might at least be ok, we split a “scone” which was not fresh and about on a par with the regrettable sandwich. This may be a fine place to get ice cream. I know it has a long and distinguished past as a distinguished ice cream stop. For a meal, pass it up.

Food was fresh and delicious! Lily our server, was very friendly and attentive. I had my favorite, Keri's chicken salad with pecans, grapes, Granny Smith apples on a buttery croissant roll. The food came out promptly! Keri runs a great restaurant!

Been a summer staple since I was a baby! The menu this year is especially tasty. The work they did to remain the sweet shop we know and love but maintain the safety of their staff and customers was very well done. Ordering and pickup are easy and I think the outdoor I've cream window should stay for good!

Charming old fashioned ice cream parlor type shop. Different salt & pepper shaker sets on each table. College pennants hanging from the ceiling. We had crab corn chowder & a unique salad that were that were excellent & much better than restaurant chains. Only open weekends during off season.

Quaint and old-fashioned. It was nice to find way up there in the middle of nowhere Eagle's Mere. Prices were a little steep, but we figured it was the cost of keeping such a place open. Sat outside on the patio and had a good time watching fancy cars drive by.

Cute and old fashioned, but $21 for two salads and iced teas was crazy; especially when we were dripping sweat during our entire lunch. No air conditioning is rude to customers and cruel to the staff.
