Terrible experience just now! I am pregnant and needed an emergency prescription filled. My doctor mistakenly sent it to the wrong pharmacy. So after being on the phone all day between this pharmacy and the one it was originally sent to, to have it transferred I finally get it transferred to this rite aid after multiple calls and back and fourth. Once I pick it up the pharmacist walks over and says “you can’t drink alcohol with these”. I look at her and say “I am pregnant” she then just says “Oh” and walks away. I am a AFRICAN AMERICAN young female. No other advice or conversation was offered except to say don’t drink alcohol and when I corrected her she walks away! I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PHARMACY AGAIN! Rude and racist!

Rudest pharmacist I have delt with, apparently because I needed 2nd shingles immunization ,I caused her to get behind on her work. Applied immunization with attitude and walked away . Nina Sorbella , I am probably twice your age. Have a little respect, your career depends on it.

Early this year I dropped off a prescription at Dunmore Rite Aid for Diabetes test strips and lancets and asked them to charge it to Medicare. When I got home I noticed they charge my health insurance instead of Medicare. Around May 25 I dropped another prescription for the same and they would text when ready. After a week or so when I didn't get a text, I stopped over Ride Aid and asked why? They told me they faxed a paper to my Dr to fill out. The two times I was there no one told me about any form my Dr had to fill out for Medicare. I called my Drs office and they said they never received any paperwork from Rite Aid. Stopped over Rite Aid and they said they would again fax the form to my Dr. Here I am about four days or more later and still no text my prescription is ready. I cannot recommend this Rite Aid since they are lax at following up with a task helping their customers. This is a prime example why Gov Desantis needed to take on Disney. Cooperations are too big and don't care about it's customers only locking in their monopoly to our money. Which our politicians have helped them with by not make it easy for small pharmacy's to handle Medicare.I had a reply from the owner of Rite Aid asking me to contact their customer care office. I contacted them the next day. The lady ont he phone was very nice. Took my information to investigate my survey complaint. By the end of the day I had my two prescriptions. I appreciate the follow up the customer care office did.

Good store but there was something urgent I wanted to pick up and as soon as I got there they closed the store why did this happen? Also on Google it says its open so I dove here thinking I would pick up my order.

Rite Aid in Dunmore is the best pharmacy anywhere. The people who work there are friendly, helpful, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.

Update: (Still using pharmacy. It seems to be all ironed out with my prescription issues. The girls and guy have been nice and pleasant lately so all is well. I hope everyone has a good experience when using the pharmacy! End of the update) I do get great deals in the store. Pharmacy has given me many many issues. Their policies are horrible. Change refill days at will. Had my Dr. call and give them some advice. It helped they are much more respectful to me now. Unfortunately that's what it has taken to get service. The pharmacy is open Sunday so that's why it's convenient for me or I'd be at a pharmacy that respected me more. I believe this is why small family pharmacies do well. Just my experience.

I love this rite aid. I could be biased being a previous employee of rite aid but also a critic because I understand how the store should be ran. I love the customer service from the man that works the register. I love how clean it always is and how I don't have to wait in line that long. How everything I need is always stocked. It's just a great experience everytime I go in there solely in great part thanks to the man's name I should know because I'm in there so often but I can't remember and I apologize. But he and everyone reading this knows who I'm talking about about. I appreciate you because I can tell you care. Thank you

Good deals at times. Convenient and easy in and out for all different types of items. Use store bonus card and earn gold status and receive 20% off most items. Able to use coupons with card. Update 5/26/22. Review still the same. And also should mention, almost all employees are very friendly and helpful. And a handful acknowledge me by name when I enter and/or leave the store. Including the pharmacy and pharmacist.

I use the drive-thru pharmacy constantly, the girls there are great Kelly and all of them! 👌🆒👍they see me coming through and they are already getting my things ready. plus they have treats for my three dogs 🐕🐕🐕people inside the store are very helpful and courteous when I do go in. would recommend this store to anyone! ‼️✅

Your staff is great! I use a walker, and I was in the store on Friday around 2pm. One of your cashier's, a woman was extremely helpful. She allowed me to park my walker near the front of the store, and helped me pack my purchases in the attached utility bag. She also gave me a ride to my home. I am sorry I did not get her name. What a gem of an employee! If you have an employee of the month she deserves the award and a raise!

Pharmacy staff there are so rude and unhappy!! They don't smile at all and talk very cold and dry and are not friendly at all. Both the pharmacy techs which is the older female with dark short hair and the young tech girl with big circular glasses are the most coldest people you can imagine. Get upset if they have to look for anything that is not in the pharmacy but in the pharmacy section. Just dont go here.

Older female pharmacist wish I got her name with the curly hair tried to give me the wrong dosage on my prescription inhaler and told me the one that was prescribed doesn’t exist. I literally had to pull out my phone and told her I’m looking right at it and her response was “so you don’t want this one?” No thanks I’d rather not have an asthma attack because you don’t know what you’re doing. Who gave this rude ignorant woman a license? Give someone a lower dosage on an asthma inhaler than they’ve been taking and you can kill someone.

My doctor called me in an RX which they refused to fill citing only a vaccine can be administered. This is utterly insane. I called CVS, the pharmacist was in disbelief and filled the script within minutes.

I just called about 2 minutes ago. Asked if I had any refills left on my inhaler and a woman goes “yes you have one left. Bye” and hung up on me. ... I was not done asking about refills and she didn’t say if she was refilling it or not. BEYOND IGNORANT.
