Stopped into JustJak's to buy a little something special for our dogs. We've never been there before but took the opportunity when we were close by. The owners were friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. After we bought some special looking homemade treats, they offered some great advice and product suggestions for my daughter's dog that I brought up during our check out conversation. We will definitely be back to JustJak's!

My 2 mini Australian shepherd loves here. We are from state college but we drive there to get raw food once a month. Reasonable price and nice atmosphere. And they always have discount. A great store for pet parents who choose raw diet.

Got a harness for my puppy and it fell apart. I do not recommend shopping there. It was very poorly made and they would not exchange it I only got 1week ago they said it was chewed. How when it on dogs back? Will never return!

The only place I will buy my cat's food. I never have to wait more than a couple days if he has to special order it. Michael, his mom, and staff have done an amazing job making it feel warm and cozy while supplying quality food, treats, and other animal products at uninflated prices. To top it off they even have an amazing loyalty program! I will recommend their products and services to all!

Good selection of treats that my dogs love (duck heads, pig snouts, chicken hearts,etc). They also have very cute dog treats that look like cookies and donuts. The store is clean and tidy. I’ve gone here several times and don’t have a single negative review.

Thank you!Kudos to the staff member for addressing three adolescents intentionally knocking items over in the store, attempting to break items, and cause harm to some of the delicate items, supplements, and food in the store.The staff members asked the adolescents to kindly leave the store. They did but returned with their parents and the parents threatened the staff member and said "Just wait, that's what Yelp is for!"Before they can provide a negative review of a situation which clearly made other customers in the store uncomfortable, the staff member controlling the store did an amazing job of handling unruly young individuals who needed additional supervision.It was impressive to watch the staff member handle and control the situation with poise and conviction.

Great Store! I love the selection, I’ve been following a more holistic natural limited ingredient diet for my dog for the past 3 years and it’s so hard to find something that meets all of the requirements, something she likes (very picky girl) and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. This place has it all. Food. Treats. Health and wellness products. Also it’s local! The owner is very informative and helps a lot. I can tell he truly cares for the well being of animals. And I appreciate that.

Fantastic place. Excellent customer service. Quality products. POur dog suddenly stopped wanting to eat her regular food and we came here based on a reccomendation from a friend. They don’t carry just any dog food, only high quality products. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about the products and was more than happy to talk to us and make sure we got the right product for our dogs needs. The entire staff was friendly and we really enjoyed our visit to the store! I highly reccomend stopping by.

I do love this store! Our Dobie baby is allergic to a lot. I can find food & treats here that he can eat too. Beware this is a specialty store, its not Walmart. Its worth it so he can enjoy being treated just like his sister. The staff are also very friendly.P.S. The four star is not necessarily a criticism. Its to point out my 'beware' statement.

Ordered food from this company via Amazon to be shipped to me. It arrived already opened in the box and with a receipt that has instructions for return. However, in the system the order is listed as non returnable. Super frustrated because I can't feed my dogs opened dog food...who knows what is in it. BUYER BEWARE! This was the only way I could find you BTW. I'll remove the review if you respond to my inquiry via Amazon and make it right. It was opened in the box the package was fine in the mail.

Very rude and not helpful. The older lady that works there seems confused about anything that you regularly buy there. Not happy w the service. Run out of the dog food they referred me to put it on. Ordered bag of dog food last week, called to see if it was in, on hold then told they would call me back when they looked? 4 hours passed , so I called back and was told that they would have to check?? Done w the games at this place!!!! You lost a good customer over your incompintent staff!!!!!!

Ordered macaw hand feeding formula off Amazon jak's sent the from product took 2 weeks and going thru Amazon to get my money back. Many calls to the store no call backs no manager many messages on my Amazon slow response asked us for pictures we provided and then ghosted got Amazon involved in a a-z claim this company didn't even respond to Amazon messages.. finally Amazon refunded my 32$ after 2 weeks of asking this vendor to make their mistake right. Consumer beware!!!To answer, your just wrong... I couldn't get you to answer me I sent pictures of the wrong product and ON my options you said it was not returnable. I called you 3 times and left 3 messages, I tried to reach you many times and got ghosted after YOU sent the wrong product I only wanted a label to return and could get NO answer. I did go thru A-Z and it took 14 days and many emails and run around then when i said I would call my credit card for false charges that I got bombarded with many emails of a refund GET IT RIGHT you dropped the ball!! Again DO NOT place orders when they send the wrong product and will not make it right!! I have made sure everyone knows to check who the supplier is and NOT TO ORDER FROM JUST FAKES!!! To answer your false statement many calls emails and no response from you. I did go thru Amazon a-z and you wouldn't answer Amazon. I just wanted the correct product I paid for. YOU wouldn't even answer Amazon to make it right!! I tried for 2 weeks even calling your store front!! I have all paperwork emails and answers from Amazon to back this up... so buyer beware what you order!!! They are not a company to buy from! You need to check your facts I never could get a return label. Never could get an answer so my statement is correct ....you are a bad owner of a company that would post false accusations for someone that has all the back up of my statement... ill say it again buyer beware!!! Watch who you order from make sure it's not just jaks!! An no worries I will never place an order with your company again!

This absolutely the best place to go to buy dog/cat food!!! He only sells the best of the best. They are beyond helpful. The owner has given me so much useful information. And it seems the majority of the staff are very knowledgeable as well! So glad I happen to venture in here one day. My dogs are definitely benifiting from it!

Ordered formula to feed baby macaws through Amazon. Was sent formula for small birds. Attempted to initiate a return. Seller asked for pictures of product and packaging to facilitate an exchange. I sent photos as requested then seller ghosted me. Went through Amazon who insisted that we give Just Jak's 3 opportunities to make this right. It took 10 days of going back and forth between Jak's and Amazon until I got fed up and threatened to contact my bank about fraudulent charges. That afternoon there were 7 emails between Jak's and Amazon indicating they were refunding my money. After this experience I've looked at reviews of Jak's on Google and Amazon and they appear to ghost their clients when they screw up the order. Won't be doing any further business with them.

Was amazed how many different kinds of treats there was and that there are fish skin bones for dogs. High prices but for the quality it's normal to pay extra. Friendly staff and was busy hope to see this business stick around.

They are ripping people off on Amazon. I made the mistake of ordering cat litter through them last week. Because I was using my phone, I wasn't as attentive as I might have been otherwise. I simply assumed the high price meant that it was one of the larger sized bags available. And I have to say, I don't really keep track of what 14.5 lbs looks like in cat litter so it seemed legit. Only after I received a smaller bag than I expected did I realize that 14.5 lbs is actually the smaller bag which retails for about $14.99-$16.99. I paid $42! They ignored my post on Facebook asking about this, but I urge you to stay away from this dishonest operation.UPDATE: Your response is utterly inadequate and dishonest. It was certainly not the lowest price available. That is a brazen lie. I grant that you succeeded in tricking me into purchasing this at an outrageous 65% mark-up. And I do blame myself for being taken in. But I'm not sure what that demonstrates—other than that you are actively attempting to fleece people! I paid you $42.08 before tax. The cat litter retails for $17.49 on Chewy (and usually less than that in pet stores). The medium flat rate USPS box cost $13.20. That means you could have charged me a fair price of $30.69. But you charged an extra $11.39 above that (before tax). That's a 65% mark up! Please let me know when I can expect a refund for the difference.UPDATE 2: The owner is ignoring my message on Facebook.UPDATE 3: Still waiting for a substantive response three months later.

The guy seems knowledgeable but what kind of business owner is late to opening his own shop? Apparently it's a habit because other people say he's always late and always has an excuse. He seems a little late to the business party as well: everything he has can be bought elsewhere and other stores have already done what he's doing. He's not very original or personable. The store is tiny and it's easy to trip over things. He says he'll order things for you and doesn't follow through. He also has a shady history and I'm hesitant to trust him with my money. I tried giving him a chance but I can't bring myself to go back.

I will never get any of Sidney’s dog food and supplies anywhere else, ever again. We bring Sidney in there with us and the owner, who is a certified dog nutritionist, is so kind, generous, and friendly! The woman who works behind the counter is also so personable and knowledgable. The owner and his employees really know how to take care of their customers and pets! I actually look forward to going to get dog food and treats now when we run out. and so does Sidney! :-)

Ordered a small bag of dog food on April 26. Charged me on April 30. No confirmation of sale or shipping notice. I left a message on their website & two voicemails, but nothing was replied to. Finally mailed out May 8 and arrived May 16. Way too long & very poor customer service; like they didn’t care. Don’t do online business with Just Jaks Pet Market!
